What do you like best?

I love that the platform is always coming out with new features and reaches out to their customers to either test or inform them on the latest tech. We have solved quite a few problems, but most notable is the calendar feature where I can see what is being worked on and how much content is being produced at any given time. What do you like best?

Stakeholders are able to easily fill out pre-designed briefs at the beginning of a project, attach any requirements or content, and our demand gen team can ask questions, ask for additional documentation and can then accept a project and kick it off. Based on how I use NewsCred, I highly recommend that you take the time to create briefs that can be filled out that ask the questions that help you assess a project for scope, asset needs, and audiences. We needed a way for stakeholders to brief the team on projects and then have sign-off by the functional teams. By having these stakeholders post briefs, we can figure out scope, ask questions, look at bandwidth required and then approve and kick-off. Plus now it tracks projects in one place. What do you like best?

NewsCred is incredibly agile! You can customize the platform to meet the needs of your organization, and easily personalize settings by team and user. Their wide array of APIs also helps you easily integrate with other teams and distribute content through a variety of channels with just the click of a button. What do you dislike?

The only downside to using NewsCred is getting other team members on board with the change. Unlike many other vendors I've worked with, though, NewsCred really invests the time to make this change as painless as possible. Their account management and customer service teams are excellent! They anticipated every issue we might encounter in getting stakeholders acclimated with the new process, and they were ready to provide solutions and training to increase user adoption. The biggest problem we've solved with NewsCred is the lack of visibility into the content that's being created across the business. Now that we have a single source of truth for our content marketing and campaigns, we're able to better leverage our content to drive results for the business. What do you like best?

What do you like best?

Overall, the team at NewsCred brought their A-game. Implementation was made as easy as possible from the NewsCred team. They listened and worked hand in hand with our developers when minor issues arose and fixed them creatively. Platform is intuitive, user-friendly and easy to use. Getting our big organizatin of users to migrate was made less daunting because of our team at NewsCred.

What do you like best?

Without NewsCred we would have never been able to pull off a cohesive, thoughtful, or useful content marketing strategy for our organization. They roll up their sleeves and get to work quickly by immersing themselves in your business/industry and act as members of our team with first-hand subject matter knowledge that quite often is very hard to come by. Their ability to generate relevant and timely content in a variety of verticals and market sectors is second to none. Moreover, they possess the technical prowess to build whitelabeled blog sites in a very short amount of time and integrated seamlessly with our web team to get the site up and live quickly and efficiently, even when faced with corporate layers and red tape. They iterate quickly, loop in the right people at the right times, and keep you up-to-date with clear, consistent, and continued communication and frequent status meetings. They work well with other partners and vendors and continually operate with our organizations best intentions in mind. Could not recommend them more for any and all content marketing needs. Not really a complaint, but we are based on different coasts and it can sometimes be challenging to find meeting times that work with all parties involved in our content marketing efforts, which includes and additional three vendors at any given time. I love Newscred's dashboard with the blog content performance widgets! Newscred's platform is easy to use for our content workflow and enables us to track the data analytics associated with the content we produce. Including metrics for best performing content, social shares, trending topics, engagement, conversions, etc. This information helps us plan for future content while keeping a pulse on how readers react to the content we produce. (Not really a complaint.) Sometimes Newscred iterates so quickly, I don't understand the utility of the widgets or some of my preferred features are moved around. What do you like best?

The platform is very intuitive and thoughtful. We use it to publish our blog and promote our content on social. We use syndicated content as well as original content via Newscred writers. What I appreciate most is how closely our reps work with us to make sure we're getting maximum benefit out of the platform and editorial services. Most recently, they've been working with us to tie our content to demand gen metrics so we can show our contribution to leads/bookings. They've also been especially proactive in finding the right contributing writers. Not every freelancer they've suggested has been the right fit, but they've always listened carefully to what we're looking for and we've ended up finding some great contributors. What do you dislike?

Have never had a major glitch with NC. Every once in a while something doesn't work quite right. Support jumps on it immediately and there's always a very quick resolution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We started with Newscred three years ago and were quickly able to move from publishing once a week to almost daily. That would not have happened without the workflows, syndicated content, and ease of social promotion that Newscred provides. It didn't take long before we saw the number of our visitors multiply by four fold. While syndicated content (with our own original editorial introductions, to help frame the content) did well, when we decided to concentrate more heavily on original content, we saw even more engagement and sharing. Newscred found writers to work on original content and some of them have even turned into great brand ambassadors. Ultimately we're now seeing the blog drive people to other parts of our site, including demo requests, which really helps prove ROI. Another benefit of adding more content to our blog thanks to Newscred is that we were able to double the frequency of our newsletter and are seeing more people engaging on a repeat basis with our content as a result. What do you like best?

Nothing really, but if I had to say something, it would be the cost of original content, I guess. There have been times I've considered using the NewsCred newsroom, but find that the cost of producing content in-house and/or with my own freelance network to be far more efficient. What do you like best?

Love the beautiful interface, easy workflow, number of integrations available (WordPress, social channels, Markteo, etc). Reps are very nice and the #ThinkContent team was great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Love the NewsCred team--they truly go above and beyond. That being said, we wouldn't need to contact them so frequently if fewer issues arose. It's got a fantastic interface, the workflow is smooth (and easy to pick up) and it integrates nicely with your CMS and social channels. They also have great customer support who were extremely helpful with setup and training.
