During the goal creation, users are encouraged to create an objective mapping to streamline the efforts. -Weekdone also records & displays our satisfaction levels using criteria such as happiness, team-spirit, energy & work-life balance. This is such a cool feature & highly beneficial for the team leaders. -Users have the option to broadcast new ideas & lessons learned using the 'News Feed'. -It also has a separate notes section where we can place important items for future reference. -Weekdone supports importing of tasks from other applications such as Google Sheets. **What do you dislike about Weekdone?** -Setting up a project is not an easy task, requires assistance from their support team. -We integrated Weekdone & Microsoft Teams for 1:1s & other updates but the notifications are not synchronised. Every week we have to delete the cache & re-login Weekdone inside Teams. **What problems is Weekdone solving and how is that benefiting you?** Weekdone aligns our efforts towards a common purpose. Weekdone's OKR aligned goal setting process covers two major aspects- What we want to improve & How to know if we have achieved the objective. Quarterly goal setting begins by setting the Company's objective so that all the teams are aligned with one common goal. Each objective also is aligned to it's own key result which helps us in measuring the success rate. Weekdone's feedback system comprises of Initiatives & Weekly check-ins. 'Initiatives' club all our plans and align those with the organisation's goal & 'Weekly Check-ins' help us in tracking the accomplishments & insufficiencies. Weekdone supports integration with other third party applications like Jira & Slack. **What do you dislike about Weekdone?** Project setup for larger teams is time consuming. For non leadership personnel, it's difficult to view your peer's OKRs and how those are interlinked. Some team members might not feel comfortable with their weekly satisfaction ratings being displayed across the board. **What problems is Weekdone solving and how is that benefiting you?** Weekdone is an intuitive tool that integrates well with our existing application Jira. We can directly import our tasks & link the progress. It enables us to manage an agile project smoothly & efficiently. ### 4. Employee goals are prioritized according to their weightage in the organisation's goal. -We are able to get regular insights on employee plans, progress, thoughts & well being. Employees get the survey bar regularly to mark their satisfaction levels while maintaining confidentiality. -Weekdone unites goals & achievements with 1:1 feedback. Which are private check-ins with the manager. -It helps us in setting up weekly automated status & scheduled reports. **What do you dislike about Weekdone?** -Product setup is a nightmare especially for larger teams. -Employee feedback ratings are just stars and as managers, most of the time, we are unable to uncover the exact cause for someone's disappointment. It would be better if feedback bar had a text field as well. **What problems is Weekdone solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our globally distributed department has five teams in it. Earlier, each team had virtually no connection to the efforts or results of the other but now we are able to better align our teams with common goals & recognition, thanks to Weekdone! I don't blame the system but I have had trouble consistently getting others on board to using it with consistency, which undermines its usefulness. **Recommendations to others considering Weekdone:** No regrets from me in choosing weekdone. I would always recommend people look at their own political landscape though. If the culture supports this kind of forward thinking, inclusive and transparent way of strategic operation, then go for it. If someone with more political clout thinks it's a bad idea or redundant, I wouldn't fight against that. Some of this functionality can be accomplished within your task / project management system like Asana, but it's not as easy out of the box. **What problems is Weekdone solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tools like Asana, Teamwork, and even Workfront all manage tasks, projects and programs or portfolios of projects. They scale up and down the "things to do" hierarchy but they don't explicitly address the "Why are we doing this" portion of strategic planning. Weekdone helps translate big picture goals, and the strategies chosen to achieve them, into your everyday work. I've realized the benefit of alignment and supporting prioritization. ### 8. I personally like this because it allows us to track our OKRs internally and allow for updates and transparent progression across teams. **What do you dislike about Weekdone?** The software has a bit of a learning curve. If you are unfamiliar with OKRs and are starting to put formal goal tracking processes in place this might not be the first choice. This is more for advanced users who need that granular OKR update control. **What problems is Weekdone solving and how is that benefiting you?** There are some integrations that could be better or even created. We like to connect everything to everything. For the connections that do exist it does allow us to really plug in the information, we need to get the results that we want. ### 9. Teams are easy to set up **What do you dislike about Weekdone?** What a clunky mess. If you have a team member on multiple teams (as much of the start up world is), it won't let you just fill out one set of OKRs, it wants specific ones per team. So you're constantly trying to find where on earth you placed it last time. Also, all of the trainers are UK based, so not helpful when you're trying to organize trainings in PST. **Recommendations to others considering Weekdone:** There are others that do the same thing but better. Use them instead. **What problems is Weekdone solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were looking for a solution to track and grade our OKRs, and the only benefit that we can see so far it that it gives us some place to write it down. ### 10. Also, you set task, goals, and objectives for the team. **What do you dislike about Weekdone?** It was challenging to learn because the videos were not helpful at all. I would prefer if they had steps to work it instead of depending on videos to understand. **What problems is Weekdone solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to stay on task and complete task. The weekly report is helpful and it is easy for everyone in our company to use, old or young. **What do you dislike about Weekdone?** The hardest thing we are finding using Weekdone is getting everyone to use it consistently. The reporting is straight to the point. Exactly want I want. **What do you dislike about Weekdone?** This is a solid tool, and great add-on for Basecamp. If anything, I could benefit from more ability to track time related to projects, but maybe that is more of a request to Basecamp. **What problems is Weekdone solving and how is that benefiting you?** Often I am asked for a quick snapshot of what everyone on the Digital Team is actively working on. We typically roll from one project to the next, start and stop projects as per bottlenecks occur, but we are always producing.
