The most interesting thing about Webhouse.io turns out to be its interface, which has a fairly simple, straightforward and intuitive design that allows us to perform all our tasks in a much simpler, faster and more practical way, the fact that it allows me to achieve Much faster and easier all the documentation, code and apis that I need for my projects is something that is definitely quite useful to speed up my developments, in fact something that I also liked a lot is the fact that I can search for a safer and faster way on the dark web, which is something not many applications offer. What bothers me the most is the fact that to perform a search on the dark web requires authorization from the webhouse.io team, something that seems unnecessary to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The api are easy to use and provide full control for language and source selection. It is possible to specify individual domains, though not new ones to my knowledge. The preview feature is fantastic for real time feedback to our clients. Overall, the web interface and the api have been very useful to us in assisting our own clients. Not possible to add particular domains to be crawled at least from our experience. Historical data are not retained for us, so we needed to pay twice the same historical data collection. It would be useful to guarantee a personal repository to keep all historical data requests until the user explicitly delete them.

As of Feb 2020, it is no longer possible to change the plan within the web interface and it is need the intervention of the sales representative. When we first start using the service our queries where pretty big, we have a lot of keywords to search and exclude. Then we had to reduce the length of it because of the HTTP request limitations, so we are making more generic queries, resulting much more results and therefore, having to make more queries to paginate that results and using more quota. The cost of the platform is extremely affordable for one man bands or growing companies and the rate at which they index new content and data is very fast.

You cannot use your regular credits to get data older than 30 days but instead have to pay additionally if you want to access old data. Besides, the data is not enriched, i.e. you don't really know about the category (apart from overall page category). You also need to take care of deduplicating data yourself.
