The service allows you to query tons of public data that you can use to build up tools for your business, thanks to the structured orientation of the results. Filters can be improved too, e.g. allowing to filter by multiple site-keys (site, site\_full, thread.url). In my case I have to perform 3 queries instead of one. The simplicity of the API, the coverage and the ability to go back in history make this is very dependable service. We have used the API to collect news, blogs and forum data from countries that we don't cover on our own.
