The interface is much cleaner that OpenDNS/Umbrella. It's local agent continues to work with a split VPN tunnel, unlike Cisco's Umbrella. It's interfacing with Active Directory is much simpler than Umbrella and the installation using Datto is spot on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have a feeling of comfort knowing that users are not able to get to compromised websites, and NSFW websites as well. It blocks everything! Sometimes a little too much if that is such a thing, haha. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The notifications could be better. Instead of just sending an email of a blocked website, they could send an email that allows me to add the site directly from the email to either the whitelist or blacklist. (That would be amazing!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of administration is huge. The categories are accurate, being able to filer policies via username or ip address. It's very easy to allow or block sites very quickly through the gui. Very little issues with the application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only thing we disliked was the inability to add ip addresses in lieu of usernames and that has now been addressed with one of the most recent releases. Otherwise it's been rock solid with minimal administration headache or end-user headaches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like this system because it provides one of the best layers of protection for the servers and computers of my business, bringing almost zero spam emails in my mail tray. This system is very simple to configure however, I could do it under the tutelage of the technical support team, in order to make an optimal configuration.

I also congratulate the team of designers of this system for its friendly and versatile interface with a range of options and filters in each function, which allow me to be able to perform a better management on the web, I can also perform more detailed searches in order to obtain Excellent information. This system has a simple and very useful reporting.

If we start talking about the price, I can say it is crazy, compared to other systems that do much less than WebTitan and are extremely expensive. I really like the attention provided by your customer service team, they are very attentive, they are always on the lookout to correct any problem that may arise with the system. Honestly, at the beginning I felt overwhelmed by the amount of functions, it has, in which I did not know what to do or where to start, but after having communicated with the technical support team, that feeling stopped and I began to understand much more this great tool. Extremely quick and easy to setup users/locations. A substantial list of filter categories to choose from makes it simple to begin filtering web traffic straight away, but the granularity of being able to have a different profile for each location with white/blacklists makes it even better for the end users. So for I have not found anything to cry about when it comes to WebTitan, although I have not used, nor do I have a need for the some of the more advanced features, such as AD integration, It has done all that I have asked of it very well indeed. We had three requirements for a web gateway/proxy server:

1. It must be able to integrate with Active Directory to avoid users entering another set of credentials.

2. It must be possible to place users in specific groups of defined levels of access.

3. Reporting must be simple and clear to be able to provide feedback to management.

The granular control it allows you to have over what people can and cannot access is unlike any other product I have used or evaluated. Being able to tie into Active Directory groups is great. And their support is extremely helpful when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Usually installation of a new instance cannot be done without some intervention from support. There is generally some issue that pops up that support has to resolve. Unable to set the day/time of day that definition updates download to the machine. We've had a few instances where the whole DB gets corrupted and the VM has to be re-built and restored. It's very easy to use and configure from the web interface. WebTitan is a fraction of the cost of other products like Cisco Cloud, and yet provides much the same protection.
