It must be able to integrate with Active Directory to avoid users entering another set of credentials. 2. It must be possible to place users in specific groups of defined levels of access. 3. Reporting must be simple and clear to be able to provide feedback to management. Being able to tie into Active Directory groups is great. And their support is extremely helpful when needed. **What do you dislike about WebTitan Web Filter?** Usually installation of a new instance cannot be done without some intervention from support. There is generally some issue that pops up that support has to resolve. Unable to set the day/time of day that definition updates download to the machine. We've had a few instances where the whole DB gets corrupted and the VM has to be re-built and restored. **What problems is WebTitan Web Filter solving and how is that benefiting you?** Total web access control and logging for my users. We have a very wide range of web access needs where some users have ALL internet access blocked other than a whitelist. And some have all web access allowed other than a blacklist. And some just get wide open web access. I can accomplish that for everyone and still get all traffic logged and reports generated for visibility. ### 20. Can be setup to be simple or indepth for each user. Takes a major load off of your e-mail server by limiting the amount of incoming spam it has to deal with. If you run an in-house e-mail server on a limited connection or have other performance issues, this will help out a lot. **What do you dislike about WebTitan Web Filter?** The admin setup can be a bit confusing at times. But it does add flexibility to their system, so a bit hard to knock it on that. End user training also is a consideration. Anti-Virus is good but could be a bit better too. **Recommendations to others considering WebTitan Web Filter:** Be ready for some consideration on your setup for this product. You can setup users individually or just use a blanket coverage of how spam is handled. Setting up users can be a chore, and training is a must. **What problems is WebTitan Web Filter solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have an in house e-mail server and it was just getting too much for it to handle all the spam, let alone the proper e-mail we were getting. We set this up and the difference was amazing. Reduced the load to 1/3 of was it was before, allowing us to extend the life of our hardware and also not have to consider more expensive internet connectivity. ### 22.
