The single sign-on authentication against Active Directory, which is a very important feature for us, works very well compared to other firewall solutions from major vendors. We are very satisfied with it. Content filtering and web filtering also work very well. The web interface is clear and easy to understand. Sometimes some websites are blocked by mistake. Another thing is that if you don't restart the appliance in a certain period of time, the storage will be full and you won't be able to log into the appliance's web interface. I love the AD integration. It makes for a set-and-forget solution. It is also easy to add or remove items from the allowed/block lists. It is easy to install, configure and use. You don't need an agent or software installed on your workstations, which is a huge plus for me. The majority of the setup is simply redirecting your clients to use the webtitan software for DNS lookup. The portal is easy to use. Reporting is OK. I have occasional problems with the filter not honoring the whitelists I have set up. Support has been able to help me resolve the issues for the most part. I wish reporting was more flexible, with better filters and searching capabilities. Sometimes it is not obvious which website was blocked when looking at a block screen in a web browser. You have to go into reporting and try to see if any other websites were blocked at the moment the user tried to access a blocked site that shouldn't be blocked. We also block websites with no category assigned. This can help with links in phishing emails. Its no so much a negative for me, but the product is more complicated then something like cisco umbrella, however with that complexity you gain a ton of customization. I really like this system because it provides one of the best layers of protection for the servers and computers of my business, bringing almost zero spam emails in my mail tray. This system is very simple to configure however, I could do it under the tutelage of the technical support team, in order to make an optimal configuration. I also congratulate the team of designers of this system for its friendly and versatile interface with a range of options and filters in each function, which allow me to be able to perform a better management on the web, I can also perform more detailed searches in order to obtain Excellent information. This system has a simple and very useful reporting. If we start talking about the price, I can say it is crazy, compared to other systems that do much less than WebTitan and are extremely expensive. I really like the attention provided by your customer service team, they are very attentive, they are always on the lookout to correct any problem that may arise with the system. Honestly, at the beginning I felt overwhelmed by the amount of functions, it has, in which I did not know what to do or where to start, but after having communicated with the technical support team, that feeling stopped and I began to understand much more this great tool. The web filtering uses DNS as opposed to hardware, so there isn't any bandwidth overhead. On top of not having to employ expensive physical hardware, that's a huge plus. We didn't have a lot of success in creating keys on the endpoint to allow certain websites. This is bypassed by whitelisting the site for the policy. We reached out to the support team and they were able to resolve the issue with some troubleshooting, but the solution isn't something most end users could handle, meaning we'd have to get an IT staff person to permit it (as opposed to a manager) so there is some management overhead there. The Outlook addon for SpamTitan isnt very user friendly. Opposed to the rest of the software, it doesnt seem very polished.
