"Webroot is the BEST Virus Protection Software We USE."

What do you like best about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?

Webroot not only keeps us secure, IT Company, but also helps keep all of our clients secure from potential threats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?

Downsides, can sometimes block little things that are not threats but always good to be on the safe side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Keenan Humphrey of Webroot

What do you like best about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?

It doesn't use a lot of resources and the heavy lifting is done through the cloud. From a user perspective, it doesn't interfere with my daily working. It is easy to deploy and manage through a central portal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?

Webroot is a great protect but we would like something that integrates with other security products including firewalls. As an MSP we are required to commit to a minimum quantity for a 1 or 3-year period to obtain the best pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Keenan Humphrey of Webroot

Thanks for leaving us a review - glad to hear that you're finding endpoint to be low on resource usage.

5/5
What do you like best about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?

It is simple, yet comprehensive. It is effective, all cloud-driven, and no need to have massive installation files downloaded.

Since we have changed to Webroot, our incidents for restores of ransomware have changed from having recoveries done almost on a daily base, to hardly ever.

I can honestly say, I am almost shocked if there is a ransomware incident.

Integration into our RMM System is super easy and simply works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?

The only thing I dislike is setting up a 10 letter verification code :-) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Keenan Humphrey of Webroot

Thank you so much for leaving a review! Glad to hear that your recovery process is not needed as often now!

"Easy to use AV"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?

The best part about using webroot is how it affects pc performance and how it runs in the background; most other anti-viruses give you popups and slow down your pc. Another significant part is that the web portal is friendly and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?

When working In this industry, sometimes, you need to turn off an AV quickly to see if it makes a difference, but you can't do this as this is managed centrally, and there are no local options to make this easier Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Keenan Humphrey of Webroot

Thank you for leaving such a positive review! The inability to turn off the AV quickly has it's downsides but we believe it solves more problems than it creates

"Deploys and runs silently"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?

The installation is quick and non-intrusive, staff is unaware that it is running. It is easy to check to see that the software is installed, simply by checking the taskbar. Users can use their computers without realizing that they are protected. The web-based Webroot Endpoint Manager makes it easy to see which endpoints require an update, or you can see if they have had exposure. There is also a feature to show their last contact, so if you had removed some devices from circulation, or replaced these devices, you can easily remove them from your device list. The installation file that we downloaded from the Web-interface is also very simple to deploy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?

As an IT Administrator, I think it would be good to have the option of temporarily disabling the software for a few minutes for testing specific software installs. I would like to be able to sort my devices by the last contact, to see a more expansive view of those computers. I have also noticed that some Servers and Computers that are running the Endpoint Protection are showing that they have not been seen by the Server for weeks to months to years, however, they are up, working, and say that they are up to date. The Endpoint interface also lists the devices based on their current version of Webroot installed, but on that Device, there is no way to 'push' a newer version of the software. "Easy to maintain and implement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?

All information is one place, you can see all the different agent versions installed across your devices.

You can run detailed reports too, which is always helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?

I would say just if your in an MSP setting, having a central logon which is used by a dedicated team is a good thing, but if you want to export reports, it goes to the managing team and you can't change this to come to you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Keenan Humphrey of Webroot

Thank you so much for leaving us a positive and thoughtful review! Appreciate the insight on reports - this is very useful feedback.

"Almost maintenance free client!!! But not ready for regulated or the enterprise!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?

I love that the client seldom requires end-user interaction or reboots or signature download and is excellent for zero-day attacks because it has been implementing behavior-based detection for years.

Personally my mother uses this and I"ve never had her ask me "should I update the Virus program" or "should a reboot as a result of a new Virus program?" etc....

Users use the product and are not aware of its presence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?

Is not able to report to an event log server. Logging to an event log server is a requirement for basically all regulatory bodies.

Some bugs are not advertised. For many many months, there were issues with interoperability with Chrome. This issue was not publicized nor the workaround for a long time. This problem had a huge impact on affected users. We lost many nan weeks of work as a result. Webroot support was not very forthcoming or helpful. However, this is the first time this has occurred after many many years of using Webroot. When the issue was fixed this was not publicized. So unless you created a ticket with support, one would have to visit the community forums to find out the change-fix.

No support for Linux!!!!!! This is huge. As a result, we had to go to another vendor. This of course opens up the possibility to move to a different solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Keenan Humphrey of Webroot

Thank you so much for leaving us this valuable feedback. I recommend you recreate some of these suggestions on the ideation platform of the Webroot Community: https://community.webroot.com/ideas

Doing so will create the start of a workflow with our developers and will increase the chances that your ideas would be adopted into our roadmap. Thank you so much!

"Webroot the shining star!"
4/5
What do you like best about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?

Webroot is so easy to use the console is simple yet contains so much info! Installation is simple and could perform maintenance with my eyes closed.

Good alert system and brilliant scanning system.

Do not have to worry about getting help from the team as they are all lovely and respond rapidly! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?

I'll be honest there isn't really anything I dislike. If I have to think of something of the top of my head I would say that creating separate customer GSM's is a pain! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Keenan Humphrey of Webroot

Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad to hear that you've had a great experience with our product and support team.

"Very simple and lite on business systems."
5/5
What do you like best about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?

Lightweight software that doesn't slow down our daily users. Doesn't interfere with any programs we use in our company. The cost vs dependability is great! Very simple to use and setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?

The downside for us is that I would like to use their other services and wish they offered a bundle discount when you use all of their software. Also would like to see a simpler dashboard, having to go from one to another to configure and then just see what assets are protected is a bit confusing at first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Keenan Humphrey of Webroot

Thanks for leaving this review with so much detailed feedback! We will take into consideration your request for more bundle discounts - stay tuned!
