The company also provides ad-hoc evidence collection services on a case-by-base basis. All web captures, source-code and metadata are legally authenticated with a SHA256 digital signature and timestamp so they are of evidentiary quality, complying with the E-Sign Act, Federal Rules of Evidence and other regulatory requirements. Unlike competing services which use an API-based capture technology that is becoming increasingly restricted, WebPreserver utilizes a proprietary non-API based technology which allows the preservation workflow to be automated while enabling unrestricted preservations of social media content. The plugin includes an elegant user-interface, automatic expansion of social media comments & replies, complete capture of web domains and web pages, forensic collection reports, fast preservations, and exports in PDF, HTML, and WARC. It can be deployed on any device allowing Chrome extensions, at any time, and stores data on your local hardware.
