## About WebLOAD
WebLOAD is the enterprise load and performance testing platform built for teams testing complex, large-scale applications. Used in production by enterprises in financial services, healthcare, telecom, higher-education and SaaS for over 30 years, and included in Gartner's Market Guide for Performance Testing Tools. A leading alternative to LoadRunner. Coming July 2026: WebLOAD AI. An AI-powered scripting copilot built into the WebLOAD recorder. Automatically handles correlations, parameterizations, and transaction insertions, with autonomous self-healing for scripts that break when applications change. Designed to eliminate the most time-consuming work in performance testing. Core capabilities: • JavaScript-native scripting. Write tests in standard JavaScript with full IDE support, Git integration, and reusable code patterns. No proprietary scripting language to learn or maintain. • Industry-leading correlation engine. Automatically handles dynamic values, complex authentication, asynchronous communication, and session tokens that break less capable tools. • 150+ protocols and technologies. HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket, gRPC, REST/SOAP APIs, SAP, Oracle Forms, Citrix, MQTT, and more. • Deploy anywhere. On-premise, in your own AWS, Azure, or GCP, managed cloud, or hybrid. Your data and traffic stay where compliance requires. • Real-time analytics and bottleneck detection. Granular metrics, customizable dashboards, and automatic correlation between application and infrastructure performance. • CI/CD-ready. Native integrations with Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Docker for continuous performance testing. Common use cases: pre-release load testing for web and API applications, continuous performance validation in CI/CD, capacity planning, SLA verification, cloud or platform migration testing, and stress testing for peak-traffic events. Built and supported by RadView Software.

## WebLOAD Reviews
 ### 1. Good tool for performance testing and tuning for small and large projects.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karolis S. | Senior System Architect / Performance Team Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2024

**What do you like best about WebLOAD?**

Webload is easy to use, you can create simple tests with a built-in recorder or you can write sophisticated scripts inluding several techologies and frameworks like Java and Selenium on top of JavaScript which is the main language. It has various reporting features which can be customized by the user regarding to their needs through UI (temporary) or (permamently) through template files.
It has competetive price and good customer support. My team is using WebLoad on daliy basis. Recommended!

**What do you dislike about WebLOAD?**

If you want to have a various customizations like custom reports or sophisticated scripts, you need to be experienced user in software/programming, hence in some way it reminds me open source tools, but in some way it can be an advantage, since you can do your own customizations.
Lacks of capabilities to tes reactive (async) based UI, this is the biggest disadvantage. For that purpose we use Selenium + Java + Webload, but it is not very easy to maintain and write the scripts.

**What problems is WebLOAD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can test your POC's and then propose to the corresponding teams to implement them in the product.

 ### 2. Webload meets or exceeds the major solutions capabilities and support for a fraction of the cost.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul K. | MGR Global QA Comp Center, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2023

**What do you like best about WebLOAD?**

Webload has the capabilities of Microfocus LoadRunner, which many consider the gold standard of performance testing, at a fraction of the cost. As a 15-year-plus user of LoadRunner and instructor, I have to say that finding a tool that matches LoadRunner was the standard in selecting a tool at our company. With Webload, we are seeing response times in how our users experience the performance, allowing us to improve our product's quality. We are implementing a global performance engineering team for our cross-product testing needs.

The support organization is highly responsive to our request to meet with us to help with difficulties in capturing and modifying our scripts and develop solutions for performance counters. In my 20-plus years of testing tools use, I have not seen such a responsive organization as the Radview support and development team. Thank you, Richard and Yam, for making yourself available when we need help.

**What do you dislike about WebLOAD?**

I agree with others that the documentation and examples could use some work. The application is feature-rich, which is good, but it makes it challenging to keep up with the documentation and information on the Radview website. It seems some areas of documentation have not been updated in a release or two.

**What problems is WebLOAD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To be successful, we need to not only provide quality features but must maintain our non-functional requirements of performance between these products as well as integration to external systems. Webload is helping us first understand the current performance state for each product and will be used to validate how it performs when fully integrated and when we make technology changes.

 ### 3. Comprehensive tool for load testing

Helpful script recording feature

Scalability and Performance

Great support

Flexible load test designing options

Easy to script

Detailed and customizable reports

**What do you dislike about WebLOAD?**

Not much tutorials/knowledge base available outside

To identify bottlenecks earlier in the testing life cycle

 ### 4. Great fit for our needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2024

**What do you like best about WebLOAD?**

It is quite a flexible tool which can be used for both load testing, and functional testing. The best part is the the Radview team which is great in uncovering all the features that the webload tool has to fit your needs.

**What do you dislike about WebLOAD?**

Nothing specific, we used it creating regular monitoring scripts which is not its main use case, so it took a bit of time to make it function properly, but the Radview team was very helpful in figuring out how to make it work for a use case that they have typically not used it for

**What problems is WebLOAD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we initially went live with the website, we used webload for performance testing, but since then we have been using it as a monitoring tool to replicate user scenarios more like synthetic monitoring for which we created scripts that run every 30 minutes, and notify if there is a problem.

 ### 5. WebLoad Performance testing takes over!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Casey B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2023

**What do you like best about WebLOAD?**

WebLoad is an extraordinarily easy tool to use. Our organization had to replace our aging and unsupported performance tool. We chose WebLoad as it met all of our needs. We have many UI interfaces and a growing list of API's. We are now rebuilding all of our performance test suites using WebLoad. We have made huge progress. Multiple users with little to no performance testing experience are able to contribute thanks to the ease of use. It has a very powerful recording tool. The SaaS based console means we don't have to manage our own performance test machines anymore. This has to be one of the best and easiest transitions from one tool to a new one ever. Thank you RadView!

**What do you dislike about WebLOAD?**

Nothing yet. Some users have little experience with javascript but that is not a problem with the tool.

**What problems is WebLOAD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Covers all of our application performance. It is very easy to use and quick to script new tests.

 ### 6. A strong tool for all load testing requirements

**What do you like best about WebLOAD?**

The recording function makes the generation of the testing script much easier.
The auto-correlation feature is so convenient that it will automatically detect which variables need to be grabbed from
the previous HTTP response to the next request.

**What do you dislike about WebLOAD?**

We are able to use this to find the bottlenecks of poor performance that cause our clients to suffer.

 ### 11. Efficient and Easy to use tool to stress test complex web applications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2021

**What do you like best about WebLOAD?**

Our engineers learnt the product and became very productive in creating various tests in record time (in couple of days after installation).

WebLOAD has an efficient scripting language. It has many options and it is very easy to customize with data variables. Met all our requirements to load test and fix the application to match stringent repose time goals. We compared other tools and found them to be inadequate in different aspects like script capture, script customization and report generation. I will give high marks to the reports generated by the analytical tool to pin point the areas for improvement. To fine tune our scripts, we had a professional training session from WebLoad engineer. That session is very productive as well.

**What do you dislike about WebLOAD?**

As of now, we did not find anything to dislike. One improvement could be an online website to move licenses from one machine to another.

**What problems is WebLOAD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WebLOAD tests identified critical performance bottlenecks when a large number of concurrent users were using the system. We recoded the sections, reran the tests to determine the level of performance gains. We did this in a couple of cycles until the product was ready to meet our customer's expectations. Our goal is to make sure the released product meets or exceeds project performance goals. We could not have done it without WebLoad.

 ### 12. Awesome Performance and Load Testing Tool with Great Customer Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2020

**What do you like best about WebLOAD?**

I like best how quickly we are able to test complex use cases scenarios for load testing, identify bottlenecks and fix them. We were in a great hurry and without a lot of experience with Performance Testing. The customer support is great, there isn't a single question or issue we had, that wasn't quickly resolved by support. As a DevOps engineer, I really like that our Manual QA can easily create complex use cases/ scripts by simply recording the use cases, without any need to know how to code - it saves me a lot of time not to have to create those scripts and scenarios myself, plus I get the inputs of the product / business analysts side which is key for making sure I test the right stuff. The correlation, answer validation and parameterization is done automatically with almost no need for intervention by me. When I do need to change the script I can easily do so directly in the code (JavaScript). The reports and analytics are excellent and save a lot of time and money by identifying bottlenecks and what we can do to fix them. We ruled out many (expensive) options that we thought could fix our bottleneck, but after testing with WebLOAD we realized these fixes won't solve our root problem - thus saving us a lot of money moving to more expensive infrastructure unnecessarily. I love how WebLOAD integrates with Amazon AWS so I can on demand deploy the load generators simulating as many concurrent users as needed without having to buy expensive hardware - this is really cool.

**What do you dislike about WebLOAD?**

I didn't like that my license is tied to one specific computer.
I sometime work on multiple computers and this is limiting for me.
I understand I could have opted for a SaaS version of WebLOAD or a floating license which I will probably do.
I recommend for new users to check out the SaaS version of WebLOAD from start.

**Recommendations to others considering WebLOAD:**

1. Don't hesitate to contact support also for things related to Performance Engineering expertise (and not just the product) - they are extremely helpful and happy to teach and help - this can save you a lot of time and money.
2. Make sure to use WebOAD's amazing correlation engine , parameterization and answer validation. You may be surprised how many tests have "passed" that are actually just hitting the cache etc.
3. Check out the floating license and / or SaaS version of WebLOAD

**What problems is WebLOAD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an eLearning site, we experienced a huge spike in usage once everyone moved to distance learning due to Corona. We were sure we could handle the traffic but ran into bottlenecks. We quickly looked for Load Testing solutions and tried JMeter because it's free. The problem was that they didn't really have support and even though we had someone who was an expert in Jmeter to help us, we quickly saw that it couldn't solve our problems. We couldn't really simulate the real complex user scenarios with this tool, and it required a lot of technical expertise. Also the reporting was signficantly lacking - it was very hard to keep track of our results and compare between them. At the end of the day, we couldn't answer the basic questions of how many concurrent users can we now support with these scenarios/ scripts and with this and that infrastructure. We then checked out a few other professional enterprise grade tools and chose WebOAD. Thanks to WebLOAD and the excellent customer service we were able to pinpoint our bottlenecks and fix them. Since we have been makingcontinuous improvements and validating each time that our performance is improving and definitely not deteriorating.

 ### 13. Great Support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2020

**What do you like best about WebLOAD?**

We are just beginning to use WebLOAD. Richard J. from customer support responded to my request. He provided both answers and more importantly education about how to use WebLOAD recorder and console. Using webLOAD gives us valuable insight into bottle necks and robustness of our products. Thank you Richard for the guidance.

**What do you dislike about WebLOAD?**

Finding useful examples of how to use WebLOAD for API testing is challenging. I would like to see more scripting examples of how to use WebLOAD. Also so may different files, configuration settings and it is unclear what each type of file does and whether we need to save them all. Quick start for different scenarios would be userful.

**What problems is WebLOAD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use web load to identify and address bottle necks before we release our product

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2016

**What do you like best about WebLOAD?**

Webload lets you do anything you want. I used many tools in the past, and in all of the you reach a point that you feel you are stuck. In webload JavaScript helps me code anything, and with their Java I can do even more. I am doing projects for companies, and I can test anything with it.

Faster creating scripts. Their correlation Engine, is really the best out there. it may need tweaks from time to time, but it can find values that other tools do not. At the end of the day.

The dashboard and reports are also great tools. You have a good list of predefined report and web dashboard, that helped a lot, when I worked with other people.

Price/Performance - this is really the best tool out there.

**What do you dislike about WebLOAD?**

There is no record/replay support for Citrix in webload.

**Recommendations to others considering WebLOAD:**

The price is amazing when you see the list of capabilities you get.
1. The Flexibility is great.
2. Reports and Dashboard.
3. Many integrations

**What problems is WebLOAD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was testing with webload web application, DB, and a few protocols that were developed in-house. I could do it all either with http, DB protocols, and for the in-house protocols I used their Java integration.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oren G. | Co-founder, Board member, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2016

**What do you like best about WebLOAD?**

I might be perceived as an "old school" engineer, but I could not implement DevOps methodologies without making sure that the system goes through performance testing before it goes into production. I evaluated many load testing products that offer testing in continuous mode, but none do actually do it in a way that will be truly automatic.
Webload was the only one I found that does automatic load testing without requiring the involvement of an engineer in the analysis of the results.

**What do you dislike about WebLOAD?**

Webload is focused on developers and as such it requires technical skills to configure
