WebGL enables complex 3D graphics to be viewed, created and managed dynamically in a client's web browser window Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about WebGL? It does not have the fixed call functions of OpenGL 1.0 which are also deprecated in OpenGL 3.0, for example, rather than creating the objects, face by face, with a function call on each face, only one function submits a list of faces to the motor. Also some compatibility problems appeared in its early days, many graphics cards had been blocked in WebGL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. WebGL is fully integrated into all browser web standards, allowing hardware (physical) acceleration of the GPU and image processing and effects as part of the canvas.
