It's easy to understand and to create compelling designs. It helps to quickly create prototipes for your ideas. **What do you dislike about Webflow?** The worst part of the services offered by Webflow is the complicated offer, divided into two separate parts, one for the hosting and the other for the workspace. The price is very high and nowadays less justifiable as an expense, considering the vastness of cheaper offers or do it yourself with ai. **What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?** Webflow is solving the problem of delivering quickly and easily a result or a solution for our clients. Webflow offers easy tutorial and many solution to implement our ideas into nice web platforms. ### 2. Out of touch with their user base. They keep raising the price, and aren’t bringing the features we want (we being me and everyone on Reddit lol). **What do you dislike about Webflow?** Do it different, go back to asking users what they want and charge a reasonable amount. **What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our company has many operating business units that all have unique needs in a website. Webflow has been the best option to house all of our concurrent sites and makes it easy to design updates, share them with stakeholders, and publish with no unnecessary steps. ### 3. It just does the basics of what we want. **What do you dislike about Webflow?** There are a lot of limitations with Webflow. It's quite clunky to use and not very intuitive. It is really hard to find our way around the interface. The promised AEO and GEO features aren't live yet. Without an agency, it would probably be impossible to use, navigate, and set up Webflow. You need to be very technical to work with it. Even though we had an agency to help, the initial setup wasn't easy, taking about three to six months to become usable. We're still finding limitations and challenges. **What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?** Webflow lets us create new landing pages and web pages like customer stories and blogs, but it just does the basics and took a long time to become usable. ### 4. It was cool until it's not. MCP is VERY LIMITED. for CMS side, if you create something new via API, it will NEVER have other locale connections. you'll have to delete and re-create. and you can't partial publish (lol?) no logs on CMS so you'll have to guess what went wrong when **What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?** Website + CMS ### 5. There are a lot of already integrated features such as animations and hover state options. The ability to drag and drop in assets is super intuitive and saves a lot of time. The ability to export the code as a .zip package and inject it into hosting platforms is very intuitive. **What do you dislike about Webflow?** This is a program to help developers bridge the design gap, not the other way around. As a designer myself it has a been hard to fully exercise my creativity within the Webflow builder without having prior knowledge of HTML/CSS. There is a lot of learning for designers with no code background to do to be able to create within this platform that is frustrating and leads to design that does not deliver in ways originally anticipated. Variables and styles are very confusing and often do not apply correctly. The builder also has a lot of bugs that break the page and you have to make a distinction if the page is broken due to a bug or to a fault of your own. There is an extremely limited starting component library as well. **What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?** Webflow is allowing me to build sites that are ready to ship without involving a engineer. ### 6. Easy to login from anywhere and also you’re able to look at others websites and code to see how they did designs. Good learning tool. Also good tutorials. **What do you dislike about Webflow?** With tools like sketch and invision studio that have a much better design focused interface, I feel like webflow bogs you down if you are a designer that isn’t as well versed in coding. **What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently trying to eliminate needing to be so heavily dependent on adobe products as well as cut down on mock-up softwares. ### 12. My dev team said they really liked the code that was produced. **What do you dislike about Webflow?** Seemed almost too dev focused, by making designers work in a very web design world, utilizing div's and other web elements.
