"Reliable and professional, but could use a few modern upgrades"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Webex Events & Webinars?

Webex Events is reliable and fairly easy to use once everything is set up. However, if you're completely new to the tool, the initial implementation takes a little learning, mainly because the interface can feel a bit dated compared to newer virtual event platforms. In my opinion, it still gets the job done. My agency (ad) uses it regularly for both internal town halls and client meetings, and it’s always been dependable for these large gatherings in the workspace.

If you do run into issues, customer support is fairly responsive; keep in mind that resolution times because they resolve by a ticketing system (like more of these platforms tbh), so no live support. Integration with your Outlook calendar is seamless once configured, which saves a lot of manual work.

Honestly, it's like most hosting platforms so most of the key features are similar: screen sharing, Q&A, and reporting, but some areas (like event customization) could be improved. Overall, it’s solid but could use an update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webex Events & Webinars?

It works well, but it’s starting to feel a little dated compared to newer webinar tools. Teams or Zoom always has some crazy update and integrates with so much more; I feel like Webinar can take some pointers there. I feel like the interface isn’t as intuitive as it could be, especially for first-time hosts or presenters. Just imagine the usual awkward fumbling trying to present/answer questions, but worse. Some of the engagement features, like polls or Q&A, feel basic and could be more interactive or customizable. It also takes a few extra clicks to find certain settings or set up recurring sessions, which can definitely be cut down/streamlined. They're not dealbreakers for me, as it's not an everyday use for me, but there's definitely some room to modernize the experience for those who are daily users. What do you dislike about Webex Events & Webinars?

It never remembers my sign-in, so I have to put my name in and press multiple things to get into the meeting. I wish it was just one click and you were in the meeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Virtual Interactions"
5/5
What do you like best about Webex Events & Webinars?

I really enjoy how it allows everyone to be present at the same time. As I know some platforms can hold that capacity for the number of people. There are rarely any technical issues, and the platform is intuitive and easy to navigate. I also appreciate that people can join by phone if they’re unable to log in, or even be called directly into the meeting. It’s made my work significantly easier and has helped support a healthier work life balance by reducing the need for constant travel. I definitely love it, it’s been a game changer for how I work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Online Events with Webex: My Experience"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Webex Events & Webinars?

What I appreciate most about Webex Events & Webinars is the platform’s reliability and professionalism when it comes to hosting large-scale virtual sessions. The user interface is straightforward and intuitive, which makes managing registrations, engaging participants through Q&A and polls, and tracking audience interaction in real time quite simple. I’m also impressed by the consistently strong audio and video quality, even with sizable audiences, as well as the range of moderation tools that help maintain organization and professionalism throughout events. All in all, it’s a trustworthy solution for conducting smooth and interactive online events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webex Events & Webinars?

One aspect I find challenging about Webex Events & Webinars is that the platform can be somewhat overwhelming for newcomers, particularly when organizing events that involve multiple sessions or require customized registration forms. Certain advanced settings are not very user-friendly and often take additional time to set up properly. I’ve also noticed that the browser version does not always run as smoothly as the desktop application, and occasional connectivity problems can disrupt audience engagement. The customer support is outstanding—responses typically come within 30 minutes or less.

The platform itself is incredibly user-friendly. Even team members with no prior experience have been able to log in and navigate confidently within minutes.

I use the platform multiple times a month for a variety of events, and it’s seamlessly integrated into our regular event schedule. It’s brought a much-needed refresh to our previous virtual event format, enhancing both efficiency and engagement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webex Events & Webinars?

Small meetings or team collaboration (better handled by Webex Meetings).

Highly interactive sessions where all attendees need equal participation (again, Webex Meetings or other collaboration tools would be better). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Constant lag and performance issues make it frustrating to use"
0/5
What do you like best about Webex Events & Webinars?

Webex has a clean interface and offers useful features like screen sharing, breakout rooms, and meeting scheduling. The integration with calendars and email platforms is also convenient, and when it works properly, the video and audio quality can be decent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webex Events & Webinars?

The platform consistently suffers from lag, connectivity problems, and delayed audio or video—even with stable internet. It takes a long time to join meetings, and the app often freezes during screen sharing. These issues disrupt collaboration and make meetings inefficient. Compared to other tools like Zoom or Microsoft Teams, Webex feels less reliable and more frustrating to use. Customer support is slow, and performance updates are not frequent enough.
