We hosted our Symposium in September, and the event was hybrid. The Webex Events (formerly Socio) app was instrumental in keeping everyone organized. we liked that our sponsors and exhibitors could reach the virtual crowd just as easily as the in-person crowd. Building the app to our specifications was so simple and the help desk was quick to respond with any questions we had. The entire team at Webex Events (formerly Socio) was great to work with! Implementing the app was effortless. Our team was able to customize the app to our color scheme and highlight features of our event. The scheduling function made it straightforward for our attendees to join their session, see the upcoming speakers and overall plan their day based on who they wanted to see speak. The app was used by all involved for two consecutive days. Integrating the Webex Events (formerly Socio) app into our event to keep everyone organized was effortless. We really liked the ticket purchasing feature, this made selling tickets for both in-person and virtual attendees painless. The reporting tool was helpful at the end, we were able to see who and how many people attended each event. The reporting tool and metrics that are available in the end make planning your next event so easy. We also streamed 4 consecutive speakers every hourthe app records each of those sessions automatically, so no one misses any of the events. **What do you dislike about Webex Events & Webinars?** The least helpful aspect of the Webex Events (formerly Socio) app was the training tool on streaming the sessions. The tool is only set up to train you to stream one session at a time. We spent two days training only to find out the day of our event that streaming 4 consecutive sessions was nothing like streaming just one session. It made the morning of day one of our event stressful. We suggest modifying the training for those that make more than one consecutive session so that you can train on streaming at least 2 sessions at a time. **What problems is Webex Events & Webinars solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had no idea how to host a hybrid event and sell tickets for such event and then manage how vitual attendees would be able to view the sessions. The engagement with the end user became easy. Creation and tracking sessions and events are easier as compared to other platforms. To increase responsiveness from the attendees, Webex Events has plenty of features such as live emojis, polls, Q&A sessions. Attendees gets overall documentation and resources shared through the event. Integration with MS platform such as outlook helped us to send automated emails to the attendees. Also the "Shake" feature is very futuristic and it instantly connects the attendees by just shaking their phones. **What do you dislike about Webex Events & Webinars?** Initially the installation takes time but later on everything works fine for me. Local language support should be provided. **What problems is Webex Events & Webinars solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use webex events for our business report analysis meeting that we host with the clients every year. Webex event is an onsite app that attendees used to get maps, hotel venue, schedule and got connected with everyone there. Webex event helped us to schedule and conduct the event in both virtual and in-person model. The session was very much liked by hosts, attending and supporting staffs. The marketing of the same was done on the app itself. We also used the polling session while conducting the event to make it more responsive. Overall event management became smoother than before by using webex events. Also it provides the information about total attendees which is useful for future references. After pandemic, The need of virtual events increased rapidly and there webex events maked their impressive presence and growing rapidly. Initially we opted for webex events to engage with our employee and team temporarily during Covid phase, but later on we are interested by their features. Because it was easy to setup and so well received by our prior attendees, we didn't think twice about using it again for our 2023 conference. The setup was as easy as I remembered it to be. Our 2023 attendees rated even higher than they did in 2020 which was the first time we used an event app. **What do you dislike about Webex Events & Webinars?** We had decided to include a hybrid element in our 2023 conference for the first time. We do monthly educational webinars and felt since COVID we had to offer a virtual attendance option. We included the live stream option in our event subscription. It did work as advertised but adding a virtual option creates additional layers of planning and was very over-whelming and not well received. We only had a few sign up for the option and did not feel it was worth the value. If I had more support to test the setup earlier, it might not have been as stressful. I was told I could test as often as I wanted ahead of the conference but I didn't understand the setup enough to thoroughly test ahead of time. Again, Virtual options add-on additional time-consuming work, if you can deligate to others who only focus on the virtual, that would be helpful.
