## Webex Calling Reviews
 ### 1. Efficient Cloud-Based Communication, Complex Setup

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Webex Calling?**

I like how Webex Calling can automate call routing and integrate smoothly with our back end and the API. It enables cloud-based communication for remote teams, helping them stay connected with the rest of the team. It also supports our ticketing process, centralizes communication in one place, and makes it easier to scale so we can reach more people without needing a strong network connection.

**What do you dislike about Webex Calling?**

The call routing configuration feels a bit complex, especially when I’m trying to set up automation. It often seems like I’m doing a lot of work just to automate something, to the point where I might as well handle it manually. I also wish it offered stronger developer APIs and clearer, more straightforward documentation. The initial setup wasn’t extremely difficult, but it wasn’t exactly easy either.

**What problems is Webex Calling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Webex Calling to replace physical office phone equipment, since it provides a cloud-based solution that helps our team stay connected while working remotely. With a strong internet connection, it helps us avoid network-related call issues, integrates smoothly with our backend systems, and automates call routing so calls get directed to the right place without extra manual effort.

 ### 2. Reliable and Easy-to-Use Cloud Calling Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sidath P. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Webex Calling?**

What I like most about Webex Calling is its seamless integration with other Cisco collaboration tools like Webex Meetings and Webex App. The call quality is consistently reliable, even with larger teams spread across different regions. The interface is user-friendly, and switching between devices (desktop, mobile, or desk phone) is smooth, which makes it very convenient for hybrid or remote work setups.

**What do you dislike about Webex Calling?**

One limitation is that advanced reporting and analytics could be more detailed—especially for organizations that want granular insights into usage and performance. The mobile app, while generally good, can sometimes feel slightly less responsive compared to the desktop experience. Also, while integration with other Cisco tools is excellent, integration with third-party applications could be more streamlined.

**What problems is Webex Calling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Webex Calling has helped solve the challenge of maintaining reliable communication across a hybrid workforce. Instead of relying on traditional PBX systems or multiple fragmented tools, everything is centralized in one secure cloud-based platform. It eliminates downtime and simplifies device management, making it easier for our team to stay connected whether they’re in the office, working remotely, or on the move. The solution has reduced costs associated with maintaining on-premise telephony and increased flexibility for scaling users up or down as needed.

 ### 3. Unified Communication and Collaboration Made Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad A. | Sr ICT Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Webex Calling?**

I like the reliability and seamless integration of Webex Calling as a collaboration platform. The ability to manage calling, messaging, and meetings from a single application is a big advantage. I also find the setup straightforward, especially compared to on-premise solutions.

**What do you dislike about Webex Calling?**

Actually, licensing is a bit difficult and confusing when you combine Webex Calling with other Webex services.

**What problems is Webex Calling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Webex Calling to replace our legacy phone system, enabling remote and hybrid work. It unifies voice, messaging, and collaboration in one platform, reducing infrastructure overhead. I like the reliability and seamless integration for managing calls, messages, and meetings all in one place.

 ### 4. Intuitive Call Management with Helpful Features, But Needs More Customization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dennis B. | General Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Webex Calling?**

I really appreciate how simple it is to organize calls, which makes it straightforward to keep calls and messages separate. The interface is clean and intuitive, and I especially like being able to add multiple users to my account. There are plenty of features that are genuinely helpful, and the apps function exactly as expected.

**What do you dislike about Webex Calling?**

I think it would be really helpful if read receipts were available. I also wish there were more advanced customization options to tailor the experience. Occasionally, I notice errors appearing in the activity tab.

**What problems is Webex Calling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowed us to communicate with our customers like never before, it's made a significant difference in improving communication. It's the best phone system we've ever used, it helps me stay on top of customer communication.

 ### 5. Effortless Team Collaboration with Classic PBX Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raxit M. | Network & Security Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Webex Calling?**

It is very easy to use communication platform which simplifies calling and colloboration of team from any location with traditional PBX capabilities like voice mail and call forwarding

**What do you dislike about Webex Calling?**

It does lack granular control and customization with limited capabilities for troubleshooting which only requires cisco support and that can be a little bit time consuming during peak hours.

**What problems is Webex Calling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has provided my team to work from home during long hours which which has increased the productivity .

 ### 6. Webex Calling Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh R. | Director of Collaboration and Security, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Webex Calling?**

ease of use, feature rich and ever expanding capabilities. The security of the product is great and the solution, overall, is easy to administer. As a partner, I help to administer the Webex Calling solution for many clients. This is in addition to performing demonstrations as part of a selling process. Webex calling is easy to implement, though there are improvements to be made. Integration with Microsof Teams is one of the biggest requests from my clients and it works very well. I use Webex Calling almost daily.

**What do you dislike about Webex Calling?**

Webex calling is still lacking some useful features as compared with CUCM/CUC including Unified Messaging, ability to see call status of shared lines in the Webex App and a few others.

**What problems is Webex Calling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Webex Calling is solving the challenges of adhering to a cloud-first strategy for many organizations as well as ease of management/operations. The solution, overall, has a lower TCO when compared to premises when factoring in the skillset required to maintain the solution. Webex calling keeps my organization and my clients from having to maintain hardware in addition to software. With Webex Calling, I don't even nee to maintain the software as that is done on my behalf by Cisco. It allows me to have my staff, and the staff of my clients, to focus on more strategic projects and not have to spend as much time managing the collaboration solution.

 ### 7. Webex:ultra fast and user friendly

Connecting people and it helps in colloboration with different people

 ### 8. Feature-Rich Platform for Daily Business Callls

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria T. | Advertising Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Webex Calling?**

One standout feature of Webex calling is its integration with mobile devices, which allows our team to make and receive calls from anywhere, ensuring flexibility for hybrid work and efficient customer support. Also, the call analytics dashboard is also highly useful.

The admin portal could use more customization options to set user permissions or configure call flow rules.

Webex Calling has significantly enhanced our ability to manage calls for multiple departments. It has replaced the need for separate phone system across teams.
