"Adding great features in no time!"
5/5
What do you like best about Weavy?

We’ve been using Weavy now for a couple of projects, and it helps us to focus on building what matters most for our clients while delivering on the features their users expect like chat, mentions, notifications, and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Weavy?

We really like to go on the depth, so it would be nice to have access to the full backend for customizations, but on the other hand, we can do all the stuff on the front end and complement it with our APIs - so not a big issue at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use and adds lots of value in no time!"
5/5
What do you like best about Weavy?

We build new apps and projects all the time – and what’s consistent throughout them all is the need for communication and real-time interaction – and Weavy does that for us super-fast and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Weavy?

Nothing really, to be honest – eagerly awaiting the release of their UI kit for Android Studio – I’m a big Android user! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Andy Heriaud of Weavy

Thanks for your feedback! We're hard at work on our Android UI Kit.

"Instrumental piece in building our global network of researchers and scientists."
5/5
What do you like best about Weavy?

The fact that we easily could add collaboration features to our platform without building it from scratch, with no prior experience at all building chats, etc. Further the level of support from the technical team is outstanding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Weavy?

Hard to point anything out, because it was all a fit from technology stack and need – in the beginning there was a limited way of doing customizations, but with the latest releases that’s fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great starting point for any start-up that needs user communication!"
5/5
What do you like best about Weavy?

What I like best is that I got a fully working user chat experience right out of the box with typing indicators, emojis, and read/sent receipts. I personally find dealing with WebSockets to be a headache, so just having that ready to go saved me a lot of time and pain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Weavy?

That the solution is written in C#. Since I don't have much experience with it, it was a little intimidating. With that being said, it really wasn't that hard to get more familiar with it, and there are a lot of functions they have backed in so the little code I had to write to customize was pretty straightforward. I created some of the API endpoints we had to use for data collection, and their team helped me out a lot. Thanks Mai! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing Community Tools Right Out of the Box!"
5/5
What do you like best about Weavy?

Weavy provides a great set of community tools right out of the box. Their Feed system allows your network to share posts like Facebook and LinkedIn. It's what users and community members typically expect to see, and Weavy does a great job at making this system easily embeddable into your application. Their Messages system also provides a modern and straightforward interface for creating and exchanging chat or instant messages with other members of your community or application. Again, dropping this into an existing app is what makes Weavy shine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Weavy?

There are so many options available to configure within the Weavy tools, and these options sometimes could use a little more explanation from the configuration and the user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rickard Hansson of Weavy

We love your use case, and the design and experience you've created is very nice!!! Well done! Really appreciate you pointing out the Buy vs Build - for us, it's a no-brainer - but hey, we're biased! Feedback received in terms of more documentation and explanation of the configuration part, it's in the backlog as we speak.

"Highly recommended!"
5/5
What do you like best about Weavy?

With Weavy we have found solutions of multiple multiple problems in one case. Especially their chat awesome is very fast and reliable. In our case, we had a multitenant app and we used different tenants of weavy as well, we can create tenants with just a few clicks from their portal. It is highly customizable and we were able to customize a lot of things, their technical support is really amazing and helped in everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Weavy?

Most of their documentation is for javascript, We used it with Blazor but again their technical support is amazing they helped us to set it up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rickard Hansson of Weavy

Thank you for the feedback, very appreciated! When it comes to Blazor, we actually do have onboarding docs for that (https://www.weavy.com/docs/chat/blazor/introduction) - sorry you missed that, let us know if you need anything. And remember, you can always tap into the knowledge in our community - https://community.weavy.com/

"A good experience"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Weavy?

The simple integration with the most useful cloud drive ever. it is really intuitive, a really positive experience, it was a great experience both of use and training in the implementation of weavy in our web application. In our integration experience we have integrated it with rest api and even api soap both on the frontend and backend side, the use experience was excellent, it was easier and more intuitive to integrate it on the frontend side, and in some points having needs a lot customization we had to consult with the developers who promptly replied within a few hours, truly a great Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Weavy?

it is not possible to customize the functionality, remove a button rather than add or modify its functionality. During the rollout we noticed these shortcomings, so make all features even more customizable if possible. In addition, the documentation for the back end integration was a bit more lacking than the front end integration, but we quietly solved it by asking a few questions directly to the developers who promptly replied to the emails Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rickard Hansson of Weavy

Great to hear, we aim to please! ;) The customization part we've heard before, and we're addressing it in our upcoming version where every detail can be customized - from super easy CSS changes to removing and adding elements - keep your eyes on our website for announcements.

"a stimulating experience to learn from"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Weavy?

* easy to integrate: integrating weavy into your application is very simple. It only takes a few steps and a few requests to start testing all the features

* versatile: it applies to different fields and uses

* support always available and prepared: in case of need, the support provides clear and exhaustive answers, often correlated by examples

* customizable: it is easy to customize weavy to adapt it as much as possible to the product on which it is integrated Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Weavy?

* sdk client documentation lacking: the documentation relating to the sdk client is very scarce, often I didn't know where to look for the information I needed. Code comments certainly help, but they aren't enough. For example, promise management is very interesting, but it should be better documented

* UI cannot be customized Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rickard Hansson of Weavy

Wow, what an awesome review - thank you so much - everyone at the office was very happy hearing all this! Fairly recently we updated the docs site, so it should be better - if not, let us know (https://www.weavy.com/docs) - and when it comes to UI customizations - we hear ya', and it's coming - keep your eyes on our website for announcement of our new version coming out.

"Saved us so much time and effort!"
5/5
What do you like best about Weavy?

The fact it’s made to work with everything built-in: presence and typing indicators, previews of

attached files in all major formats, integrations with Dropbox, Google Drive, etc, and now also Zoom

and Teams - we saved an insane amount of time, instead of building it inhouse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Weavy?

We’re not super familiar with .NET and C#, but thankfully we could do all of our customizations in

the frontend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Andy Heriaud of Weavy

Thanks for your feedback, we're glad to hear the front end customizations have met your team's needs.

What do you like best about Weavy?

We bridge the gap between physical and digital workspace in the wake of everyone working from

home, and increasingly our users were asking for productivity features in our app - and thankfully we

found Weavy that helped us to add chat, feeds, file sharing, notifications, and more - and we can get it

done in no time with few resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Weavy?

We need native components for our mobile experience in React Native, but we know it’s in the

works and released soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Andy Heriaud of Weavy

Thanks for your feedback, we have a React UI kit at the ready!
