What do you like best about Waymark?

They communicate so well, and work to resolve issues (usually just glitches) quickly. I love the AI generated voiceovers and the footage available in the library. The product and the team are the perfect combination for success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Waymark?

My only critique about Waymark is that it can be glitchy. I sometimes struggle to find images I have already used, and since the introduction of AI, I will sometimes lose my script. It will just disappear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Waymark allows me to create videos for advertisers for whom creative was always a road block, or have limited funds to invest in a commercial. It has also become a prospecting tool. Being able to show a fully baked example to a new prospect changes the game and the conversation. Their team is so responsive and helpful. What do you like best about Waymark?

The ability to use AI to write a script and add a voiceover to your commercial is a game changer. It saves so much time and is super intuitive with little instruction. The only downfall I have found is sometimes you are unable to change the template to accommodate photos and script. For example the text is over a human face, you are unable to move the text. What do you like best about Waymark?

I don't have dislikes necessarily - maybe some upgrade opportunities.

What problems is Waymark solving and how is that benefiting you?

Being in a market that has many hands-on business owners, it's important to have as many questions answered before I even get to the meeting. The most common question - "what's my commercial going to be? what am I going to show? do I have to be on camera." Waymark allows me to come up with a quick creative solution for any business and allows me to show what a partnership with Spectrum offers - resources beyond cable/streaming. I would greatly appreciate the ability to specify font sizes, appearances, and colors for the text that is generated. Although the AI Voice Overs that are generated are amazing, they often require multiple tweaks for proper pronunciation, timing, etc. I'm sure this functionality will improve with future versions and updates. Waymark cannot be much easier to utilize. Spend an hour with it and you'll be mastering the software and creating broadcast-quality advertising for your clients. All media - images, videos, text, and voice-overs can be provided for you or you can provide specific media. What do you like best about Waymark?

I have been using the "AI" more and more, especially with the new features selecting the vibe you want to show and quickly picking out the digital format. I really wish we had a little more control in editing with the font sizing and coloring throughout the template slides. The other area would be having a way to slightly slow down or speed up the slide movement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Waymark?

Beyond the fact that i have the most creative freedom to handle what i need to for my clients, my favorite feature would definitely have to be the AI piece of Waymark. It allows me to adjust voiceovers, manually edit the content within the template the AI selected for me (if needed) and it creates spots for me even quicker than manually going in and selecting a template and inserting all the images and footage from scratch. What do you dislike about Waymark?

While there are so many things i love this tool for, there are a few things that i wish could be improved and some things that i might not be able to use Waymark for, and i have listed them below:

1. There are SO many templates, and finding the right one is really hard to choose without spending so much time going through them one by one

2. Waymark really isn't a fit for bigger clients in my market as they prefer and need a full scale production service that Waymark just cant produce at this time. This tool is super beneficial for small-medium businesses but cant fit the needs for my bigger clients (right now).

3. In the AI tool, when you import your brand and select on how you want the AI to write the script and creative (Professional, Inspiring, Laid Back, Fun), when you preview the spot and template it picked for you, in my experience i sometimes am not happy with that template it selected, so i would like for it to give me an option with a different template.

4. I don't like that i cant adjust certain boxes, shapes or text within a template to rearrange it in a better position within the frame. It would be nice to have this feature as i could provide even better creative that doesn't block the main parts of some of my images or footage.

5. I wish there was a set menu that i could choose from for any template that allowed me to add certain things like a logo, URL, Phone number, disclaimer etc. where the template selected doesnt have these elements included where i want them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Waymark:

Take your time and be patient. There is a lot to learn about this platform but it is so rewarding and can really help in driving revenue and hitting sales goals. My best piece of advice is to just get in there and play around with everything the tool has to offer in order to familiarize yourself with the capabilities and know what you currently can/cannot do. Waymark is helping me personally solve the problem for the prospects and clients i deal with by placing their brand in front of their consumers quickly and efficiently across multi-screen platforms. It also helps me in a lot of cases steer away from our full scale production team that takes more time to get a creative spot completed. the limitations in creativity. Sometimes some images do not fit into the space that is provided, so you have to either find a pic that does, or edit the picture on your own and then resubmit it. Also, the choice of using different colors on different screens is either difficult to do or not doable...maybe i havent figured it out yet. I wish that you were able to customize things more in the videos we create. Some of these include adjusting or moving the placement of copy as well as being able to select between using rolling footage or static footage not just what the template is built to create.
