Good for New Advertisers **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2024 **What do you like best about Waymark?** The AI voiceover feature is very useful, especially when you have an existing spot that just needs to be re-voiced. **What do you dislike about Waymark?** Many of the templates are too "graphic-heavy", making spots almost seem as if they were created using powerpoint. It would be nice if there was a way to create a spot from scratch without AI, or have the ability to edit more elements after the AI video is generated. I have Canva Pro and it offers a ton of freedom to add/edit graphics, images, video, etc. **What problems is Waymark solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's great for local franchises to take national ad creative and use one of the "upload your video" templates to add their local website/QR code, etc. Waymark is also good for potential clients who have never done video ads before, and would like to see a few different examples of what their video ads could look like. ### 2. In practice the system has been too difficult for me to use quickly. I like the selection of voice overs. **What do you dislike about Waymark?** I have had several problems with changes saving (updating) and if you are not well trained in how graphic/illustration software works, it is certainly more difficult. **What problems is Waymark solving and how is that benefiting you?** It normally can take 2-6 weeks to get video creative done. Being able to get at least an introductory branding message available, prior to (or instead of) custom video would be a HUGE benefit to me! ### 3. I can also use it for outreach, show examples, and presentations. **What do you dislike about Waymark?** I wish we could customize the template a bit more. For example, I wish we could delete certain colors or background images. **What problems is Waymark solving and how is that benefiting you?** Can get advertisers on air within a day ultimately leading to more sales. ### 4. There is a lack of variety in templates and there isn't many options for customization like moving text, adding effects, and removing certain portions of templates that aren't wanted **What problems is Waymark solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows for me to create quick mockups for my sales reps to show potential clients about what we can offer without spending all my time creating a video ### 5. Clients have repeatedly said "it feels like AI" Music selection very limited Revisions limited, can change colors but only globally, so when we get picky clients we have to reveal we're using AI. **What problems is Waymark solving and how is that benefiting you?** Dedicating less time to low paying clients. ### 6. When their own employees are making better quality videos for their social media, it's hard to compete with that. Some of these include adjusting or moving the placement of copy as well as being able to select between using rolling footage or static footage not just what the template is built to create.
