I really like the contributor insights feature, as it brings a lot to 1-1 discussions and helps individuals set goals to improve their performance. Additionally, I find the breakdown of the development cycle insightful, showing where the team spends most of their time. **What do you dislike about Waydev?** I think custom reports could be more flexible, and it would be nice to have the feature to compare teams with the average of the rest of the company. **What problems is Waydev solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Waydev to track team performance, understand development bottlenecks, and gain transparency in the team. It helps us track development activities across repositories, monitor pull request merge time, and calculate team velocity effectively. The clear quantifiable DORA matrix numbers give us great insights to cut down hidden bottlenecks. The ease of integration is a huge win, and onboarding was smooth. Once everything is set up, we get a dashboard out of the box that provides a top view of project performance, plus the ability to create custom dashboards. The dashboard also eliminates the need for manual calculations and reporting, allowing us to make actionable decisions more quickly. Adding users from the dashboard was straightforward, and we were good to go without much delay. **What do you dislike about Waydev?** At first AI summary took enormous time to load and didn't provide much information. **What problems is Waydev solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Waydev to gain visibility into our engineering performance, track activities, and calculate team velocity. It can be difficult to stay on top of all the metrics that matter to the team, but the emails remove that cognitive load. **What do you dislike about Waydev?** Getting up-to-speed on how to best leverage waydev took more time than anticipated. **What problems is Waydev solving and how is that benefiting you?** It collects and organizes the data that matters to me. It helps paint a better story of throughput and avoids "I'm feeling X", but rather "based on X metric...". **What do you dislike about Waydev?** I think a way to customized dashboards to be more specific on what you need but this is a tiny thing as the default one is fantastic! **What problems is Waydev solving and how is that benefiting you?** Again, it's really helping provide a lot of out-of-the-box analytics on speed of output metrics and stability of output metrics, which are absolutely essential to a startup. A ton of insights to go. **What do you dislike about Waydev?** Integration with Jira is messy, I can´t see all the information from our board. Gathering the information from a team in a graph shows the total or sum for that particular problem, but we would like to see each developer per team in a graph. The greatest advantage that waydev allows is to be able to have a large number of reports according to the search criteria of each user. **What do you dislike about Waydev?** One of the things where the platform fails is having constant or repetitive problems in some of its functions. The best ones that they do sometimes are during the hours in which one is visualizing the tool. **What problems is Waydev solving and how is that benefiting you?** The workers at waydev have resolved most of the issues we've had in the course of using the tool. It give us some indicator to improve the team's performance. Risk metric: This feature is very useful when we need to track down regressions caused by new commits, usually the team will start to investigate the high-risk commit first. **What do you dislike about Waydev?** No Public API: Currently there is no way to integrate WayDev with other software **Recommendations to others considering Waydev:** No On-Premise Installation: This could be a problem for some companies. **What problems is Waydev solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a small startup. We use WayDev to track our impact and optimize our productivity during the course of development. For example: - Whenever we see high churn rate, we know there is something wrong with our design. - The commit logs can be useful to tracking down regression. Overall, WayDev is a great addtion to our productivity toolchain so far.
