I wish the transactions section would automatically remember the categories I assign that I've used before (ie: "Rent" for the same vendor each month). It is a easy to use, well designed web application that can easily integrate with external bank accounts and payment sources. Ability to add multiple "business" income streams is nice too! Wave makes payroll simple and easy to manage. Their support is great and they stay up to date with COVID grants, taxes, and basically make it so we don't have to think about it.

The week lead time needed to run payroll in the industry is constantly a sore spot. Sometimes things change, etc. and running an "emergency" extra payroll is difficult and time consuming.

I wish I could pay 1099 contractors in one step, like payroll, instead of two (creating a bill and then sending it to be processed as a payment with payroll) since this is how my vendors expect to be paid (bi-weekly). The connection between bills, payroll, and contractor payouts is not super intuitive, and I have to slow down and walk through the steps each week to be sure I have completed the flow correctly. It is incredibly intuitive and very affordable. It also links with Wave accounting and Invoicing so for a Creative who hates dealing with the accounting/tax side of things, it's been a lifesaver. I have yet to find any issues with the payroll side of things and it conforms nicely to all PA requirements. As long as your employees are ok with direct deposit (I don't think they offer physical check services) it's super easy to set up and go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One one thing where they should improve there work is mobile app. It has some bugs also often crashed while using this.
