It has positioned me as "ahead of the game" for being digital and tech savvy. A few of the top aspects I love about Wave and my digital business card: I love when a connection scans my QR code it immediate prompts them to put in their contact info. I love how easy it is to implement it saves their contact info in my recent contacts to building an address book. I use it multiple times at every Networking event and I don't have to bring anything else! Lastly, it integrates right into my Google Voice and Gmail, love it! When the QR code is scanned and the "new contact" is putting in their contact info, I have experienced multiple people not being able to see the font and different text boxes. I have had to assist them in putting in their contact info, which feels "Salesy and too Personal". The size of font could be bigger to accommodate for those with poor eyesight close up. Wave Connect actually proved itself when I attended a recent networking event where I was able to exchange my contact information with six other attendees and then later reach out to them via email and SMS. With a quick scan of the QR code, and clicking on the URL that pops up, a prospective contact can enter information and exchange it immediately, without having to give or take a physical business card. It also solves the problem of collecting all the information in one place. Physically writing down the numbers of each contact from business cards is cumbersome, whereas the app gives the ability to export all the new contacts obtain during an event to a .csv file. The app remains on the lock screen of my phone with a QR for people to scan, gives me the option to text message someone instantly with a request to exchange information, and you can even print QR codes to put at your booth, or include in an email to obtain sales lead info. The QR and NFC options work smoothly in real-world meetings, and people can save my contact without installing any app, which removes a major barrier during networking. The interface is clean and easy to set up, and being able to update my profile anytime (and have those changes reflected instantly) feels far superior to traditional paper cards. The main limitation is that there is no option to create multiple profiles for different roles or brands, which would be helpful for people handling more than one business or identity. It also does not support direct payment integrations, so you cannot link apps like Cash App or similar services natively from the card.
