I opted for Wave Connect - Digital Business card in early 2025, ahead of a massive trade event in tourism, and I am now reviving my use, after experimentation with other platforms, because of three key advantages:

Ample text real-estate and comprehensive social media links: The generous bio limits (1500 characters) enabled me to create a thoughtful self-description and blend my personal and professional brand, as well as some of the services I provide. Less popular or niche social networks or communities (eg. Bluesky) are easily added and seamlessly displayed. As a communicator with many hats, I find this a key differentiator.

Wallet, QR and download capabilities - Wave Connect made sharing contacts easy, as I don't have to resort to the app to share my card, and neither has my contact. The vCard download is particularly accesible. While it is not my primary focus, I have found inbound contact collection equally easy, as the app recognizes multiple formats and captures data in a logical, CRM-like structure, rather than a phone directory hierachy. The tag feature is useful.
