I used it to help me collect contacts in a research context, and it was SO easy and fun to use. Everyone thought it was so cool to scan a QR code and it was great that they could both get my information and choose whether or not to share theirs. I used it in three different contexts, and it helped me so much. I was also shocked with how easy it was to set up and start using -- I was going to use physical business cards, but this was so much easier to integrate with my current contacts and into my research contact spreadsheet. A truly incredible product! **What do you dislike about Wave Connect?** I honestly have very few dislikes about Wave, I'm going to use it even more often when networking for PhDs and jobs now that I know about it. **What problems is Wave Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm not a business person, but it solved the huge problem I had of figuring out how to connect with people and share my contact information with them. It's easy to use, doesn't require the other person to also use Wave, and eliminates the need to manually sort through dozens of business cards. You can tag and sort contacts which is really useful to keep track of what different people specialize in or when you connected with them. **What do you dislike about Wave Connect?** It's a little inconvenient to explain to people what Wave is, but most people just think it's cool. It is a bit slower than just swapping business cards, but I think the organization of it is worth the time in almost all cases. I would love to see an app come out that lets you collect people's cards to view at a later time. Several people in the company have their digital business cards physically, and even when I don't, they still keep the profile very functional on the free option. The people receiving the info do not need to have the app to read the contact, so it is incredibly easy to add the contact information to their phone. The printing quality of the plastic cards was not the best on the first order, but still, they compensated me for the bad printing and reprinted them for free. The other thing I like is that becuase I purchased this card when I was just getting started, I could update my information as I added things on, like a facebook page or LinkedIn page, etc. And that automatically updates my contact information without having to go buy new cards.
