What do you like best about WatchGuard Network Security?

I've been using WatchGuard Network Security solutions for our organization's cybersecurity needs, and I'm thoroughly impressed with the features and usability they offer. What stands out to me the most is the comprehensive security suite bundled with their products.

The range of security services provided, including intrusion prevention, antivirus, content filtering, and more, has greatly enhanced our network's defense against a variety of threats. I also appreciate the seamless integration with other security tools we use, allowing us to build a robust cybersecurity ecosystem tailored to our needs.

One of the major reasons we chose WatchGuard is their user-friendly interface. Even for someone with limited technical expertise, the dashboard is intuitive and easy to navigate. This has significantly reduced the learning curve for our IT team and streamlined the management of our network security settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WatchGuard Network Security?

While WatchGuard Network Security offers some solid features, there are a couple of areas that I believe could use improvement. One of the main concerns for me has been the customer support experience. While their support team is generally responsive, there have been instances where I felt the solutions provided were not as thorough as I had hoped. It would be great if they could offer more in-depth assistance for complex issues, as well as better documentation for troubleshooting common problems.

Another aspect that has been a bit disappointing is the pricing transparency. While I understand that security solutions can be intricate, having a clearer pricing structure upfront would be beneficial. It can be frustrating to go through the sales process only to find out later about additional costs for specific features or services. Having a more transparent pricing model would save both customers and the sales team valuable time.

Additionally, while the interface is generally user-friendly, there have been times when certain settings felt a bit buried or not as intuitive to configure. Streamlining the interface and making advanced settings more accessible could enhance the overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Security Software"
5/5
What do you like best about WatchGuard Network Security?

Reliability, enterprise quality software that gives us confidence about our protection. We have not had any breach events since installation. The psh MFA works really well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WatchGuard Network Security?

Installation is a nighmare and we didn't have a good experience with technical help. The first contact was with some one in Spain who provided a very limited time window to communicate. When we finally got someone here everything worked fine. A better installation routine might have helped. I think the software is for professional installation. "Total Security, Ease of Mind with Ease of Access"
5/5
What do you like best about WatchGuard Network Security?

I am a strong advocate for 2-factor/multi-factor authentication. The process to authenticate each session is very convenient and easy to use. There are multiple options to choose from when it comes to the method of authentication which is important for when applying to larger groups of people and organizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WatchGuard Network Security?

Every once and a while, while accessing our Office PC's remotely, the WatchGuard screen prevents a full pass and will freeze the remote login. In most cases, simply closing the remote session and restarting will fix the issue but there has been times where a full PC Reboot is required. Please reach out to me if you'd like a further explanation on this issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Using Watchguard devices"
4/5
What do you like best about WatchGuard Network Security?

I like the management software, the way you can create on-the-fly security objects when creating rules or when you are looking for data in the realtime log window Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WatchGuard Network Security?

When you are reviewing quarantined emails, the quarantine client sometimes loose connection with the server and you have to refresh. I don't like to use only one option to search for data in the realtime log, there has to be a way like when one is using watchguard dimension, you can use more than one filter. Also, reports on watchguard dimension somehow don't display the same data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
