What do you like best about WatchGuard Endpoint Security?

Antivirus with very intuitive and easy-to-use menus, it also offers compatibility with MacOS, Android, and Windows. It offers several versions to acquire licenses, from the most basic (ESSENTIAL) to the most complete (PREMIUM). The basic version offers different functionalities, such as Antivirus / Firewall, real-time protection for Mac and Android, VPN service with a limit of 150 Mb/day, Wifi network protection, and the ability to scan external devices. Its real-time shield is capable of protecting us from malware and spyware trojans, and its most basic version already includes a firewall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WatchGuard Endpoint Security?

In my experience, its main downside is its effectiveness in detecting threats; I have found that it is not as effective as other antivirus software of similar or lower price. Another aspect is the price; in my opinion, if you need a complete product, which includes, for example, parental protection, you have to opt for their Premium version, which costs 89.24 euros, somewhat high compared to other competing antivirus software. Recommendations to others considering WatchGuard Endpoint Security:

I recommend this antivirus if the basic version meets the needs we are looking for. When we need extra functionalities, we would have to evaluate it due to the price increase of the different higher versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WatchGuard Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?

With this antivirus, I have managed to keep my computer safe for some time, although sometimes I have had to resort to complementary tools like Malwarebytes, but in general, it is not a bad antivirus. What do you like best about WatchGuard Endpoint Security?

Happy for years, I already used it personally in the 90s on my PC. For the past 6 years, I've been using it in my company and it's nice to see the present improvements, you can tell the years of experience.

Very useful for the protection of computers. It's true that there are others that are cheaper or free, but they are light years away from this one, offering antivirus solutions for the protection of devices with any software. What do you dislike about WatchGuard Endpoint Security?

What do you like best about WatchGuard Endpoint Security?

- Excellent results in tests conducted by independent laboratories against all types of malware threats (including zero-day attacks).

- Technical support can be improved.

- The interface needs better organization, it is not coherent.

- The lack of dedicated protection on Wi-Fi networks in the free version.

What problems is WatchGuard Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?

A good purchase. The program is extremely effective: it blocks all known malware while demanding a reasonable amount of resources from the computer.

However, we are left with the bitter taste that, except for the rescue kit, this protection program does not include any additional features, which is why it does not occupy a more prominent place in our comparison of the best antivirus for Windows, where there are other much more complete security suites, such as Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2018 or Norton Security. What do you like best about WatchGuard Endpoint Security?
