The only downside is if you are managing many devices and need to apply different settings to specific devices, the policy hierarchy is a little confusing, but it has gotten much better with recent updates. We had issues configuring the product for use; the menus were not intuitive. Our test machines took a bigger performance hit than our previous endpoint threat detection product. I really like the peace of mind it gives me knowing that my customers are protected even from new virus/trojan attacks. What do you dislike about WatchGuard Endpoint Security? At the moment there is nothing I don't like about adapative defense 360. Perhaps it is the case that it can block custom software updates for the client. But it doesn't become a real big problem because entering the console you can unlock in a matter of seconds or create an exclusion, which I advise against since the unlocking is done very quickly and the client machines detect it almost immediately. Adaptive defense 360 gives me peace of mind knowing that customers will not be affected by encryption software that hijacks their data. I have been using Adaptive Defense for over three years now across over 200 devices and its an excellent product, prior to moving to it I had tested a number of other business AV products and found it to be well priced but with many valuable features, including the ability to control certain aspects of the device hardware such as USB and Bluetooth from the central console. Excellent control over web use is also a great feature and you can group this even down to a single machine level based on web content and even timed access. I have recommended this to friends who work in IT as I feel its an excellent product that provides great protection for a business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. The is plenty I like about this product, but I am struggling to find anything I really dislike, I think a new to have would be improved alerting - the is some basic email alerts that go out for various triggers, if I could have extra detailed options this would be ideal. Recommendations to others considering WatchGuard Endpoint Security: Give the product a trial, you will really see the benefits quickly compared to other products on the market. The product allows me to see all of my devices in one console with the ability to monitor and scan as required and control various things such as USB/Bluetooth and web use. All of my devices are spread geographically, control of such things using a router/firewall isn't often possible. From our perspective, it does a good job on endpoint threat reduction, and it runs seamlessly with minimal administrative actions required.
