"Effortless Demo Creation with Walnut"
5/5
What do you like best about Walnut?

What I like best about Walnut is that it gives me complete control over my demos without relying on engineering. I can easily create personalized, no-code demos that align with each prospect’s use case, ensuring every session feels relevant and impactful. Plus, the analytics help me understand what resonates with prospects, so I can refine my story for future demos. Overall, Walnut lets me focus on selling value instead of managing demo environments Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Walnut?

While Walnut is a powerful platform, I’ve noticed a few limitations from a sales engineering standpoint. Customizing very complex or deeply interactive workflows can sometimes be challenging, since it’s still a simulated environment and not a live product. Managing frequent product updates also requires periodic recapturing to keep demos current, which can be time-consuming. Additionally, the analytics, while insightful, could go deeper into user behavior patterns to help fine-tune demo narratives. That said, the pros far outweigh the cons, and Walnut continues to evolve quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Product has come a long way"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Walnut?

Pretty easy to use and they do seem to release new features frequently, e.g. they were quick to integrate GenAI. There's a lot of functionality and options with the tool that I haven't had the time / need to fully discover as the base product covers what I need - i.e. create simple product tours - 80% of the time. I think the best part about it is its support team who are fairly responsive and able to escalate issues appropriately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Walnut?

It can be buggy - e.g. the multi-resolution mode frequently messes up my browser window when I try to use it - and depending on your product, it may not be able to capture screens appropriately (but that's where support comes in!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Walnut is really easy to use. Once we get the screens in, we can edit them as we like which is really helpful for customizations of demos. Creating links and sharing of demos is also easy and this is a great tool which is used by our team often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5/5
What do you like best about Walnut?

The customer service team is top-notch. They ensure all my issues are addressed and resolved at the earliest possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Walnut?

Too many product features get released in a short period. It becomes difficult to keep track of the latest updates and even try them out for that matter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowering our sales with Walnut's platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Walnut?

Walnut has pretty much changed our approach to crafting and delivering product demos. Its no-code, easy-to-navigate platform lets our team to construct personalized demonstrations, even without technical know-how. The automatic updating of changes and styles through the smart object feature makes customizing demos for diverse clientele a breeze. Moreover, Walnut's sleek UI editor and Chrome extension facilitate the seamless creation of immersive storylines and guided tours. Customers really like the demos we make with Walnut. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Walnut?

Some of our team members grappled with the distinction between demos and storylines initially. So I think that more tutorials on this subject would benefit users who are new to the world of demonstration creation. Though, the CS team is super nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing tool that can be used to create a live presentation on the go!"
5/5
What do you like best about Walnut?

The ability of Walnut to make edits on any screenshots on the go, and also the ability to copy an entire HTML to create a mockup of our own is the best feature so far! The latest feature that has been released called Smart Objects makes it easier for us to take screenshots of an entire tab or a sub-tab and use it in different screenshots. Also, the option to add guides as well as the links makes it easier to have a hybrid screenshot that can cater to both the needs, which includes Guided screenshots as well as navigation-related screenshots. Overall, the software makes life easy when it comes to building a demo within a very short deadline. Also, the software always keeps on upgrading its capabilities to provide solutions to better use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Walnut?

The application lags sometimes to start and also there are a few bugs in saving the screenshots sometimes. For instance, I had clicked a screenshot of a webpage and the application stopped working completely. This required a browser restart to get things right. Additionally, I believe that the UI of guides could have a better UI. The one that is present currently makes it a bit complex for newbies to understand about the guides.
