"The best content experience and demo automation software is Walnut."
What do you like best about Walnut?

The most helpful thing about Walnut is that it's a great platform for customizing and optimizing demos. Another advantage of using it is that it is a very helpful platform to take demos to the next level. It has the facility to display the individual products beautifully for the clients. This platform is very easy to use as compared to other platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Walnut?

I haven't found anything bad to comment on on this platform yet, as everything has been very helpful to me. But I think this platform needs more documentation and KB support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It's a great idea, but horrible UX"
What do you like best about Walnut?

I like all the editing capabilities and the possibility to add guides to demos in my brand's tone of voice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Walnut?

The user experience leaves much to be desired.

At first I thought that it is because I keep hitting corner cases. However on further use I have found the UX to be too bumpy.

Simple things like the fact a menu item often (but not always) needs to be clicked twice for it to execute, or how hard it is to change the order of screens, even though it was designed as a simple drag and drop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good system for demonstrating an evolving product as an early-stage startup"
What do you like best about Walnut?

Walnut is super easy to use and get started building our storylines and demos

- We have a product that's always evolving and therefore Walnut gives us a way to demo the product without having to create demos live in the product from scratch

- Walnut gives us consistency amongst the demos we do as a sales team; before we'd have salespeople showing different parts of the product

- CS is great, Nick has been super helpful as has the engineering team in making improvements to our storylines Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Walnut?

- Getting started was a little tricky and we had some delays in the storylines we were demo-ing, which gave the impression that the product was running slowly

- It can take a couple of minutes to get all your demos ready ahead of a live product demo Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Game-changing platform"
What do you like best about Walnut?

Extremely easy to use. The platform is very intuitive and not much more complicated than putting together a deck on Google Slides. That said, there are a number of ways you can further customize the "stories" you create. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Walnut?

While not a steep learning curve at all, it did take a little bit of time to get used to dragging-and-dropping certain things, or getting my head around all the different bells and whistles you can employ to make your story pop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great product, even better support"
What do you like best about Walnut?

Walnut has allowed us to take our demos to the next level with an engaging, self-guided experience that has helped us grow the top of our lead funnel. It's extremely easy getting in contact with their support team and are very receptive to feature requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Walnut?

I haven't experienced anything major I've disliked about Walnut so far. Just small workflow improvements that would make creating and updating storylines easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Changed our business"
What do you like best about Walnut?

Walnut has changed our sales business. Walnut allows us to show our Veeam Powered M365 Back-up tool Cirrus, without having to do demos for our "run rate" business saving us time and money. It allows customers to see our great UI without having to do a demo. It has had a massive impact on our sales as our sales have increased by around 60% since we bought Walnut with less resources. I can't recommended this tool for SaaS software businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Walnut?

Nothing we have seen so far. Great support from the team and lots of new features always arriving Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tailoring beautiful demos with Walnut's versatile demo editor"
What do you like best about Walnut?

Walnut has been an indispensable tool for our team, enabling us to design highly-engaging and tailored product demos. We really like its compatibility across devices, I’ve personally used it in four different environments and it always works seamlessly. Demos are always polished and leave a lasting impression on our clients. Walnut's ability to customize and personalize demos adds that extra touch, making our presentations truly stand out. What do you dislike about Walnut?

Still lacks some API support. This would help to enhance Walnut's offering and allow for even more versatile interactive demonstrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing tool for creating demonstrations"
What do you like best about Walnut?

I've had the pleasure of using Walnut to create engaging and personalized product demonstrations for various clients. The intuitive interface and customization options make it a breeze for my team to create visually stunning and effective demos that our clients absolutely love!

What I love about Walnut is the ability to quickly put together a demo that not only showcases the product but also highlights how it can address the unique needs of each prospect. Additionally, the fact that it is so easy to use means that even our non-technical team members can create impressive demos without needing any coding skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Walnut?

There isn’t much. Their subscriptions are affordable and the support is great on the rare occasion that an issue occurs. I have had a hiccup here and there when making demos (on an M1 Macbook mind you) but this hasn’t worried me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Engaging product walkthroughs"
What do you like best about Walnut?

Acts as a 'try before you engage sales'. We use Walnuts in our demand campaigns as well as individual outreach from sellers. It's a great platform to highlight a complicated product and give users the experience of clicking around themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Walnut?

Really looking forward to marketing automation integrations that are on the near-term roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
