## Walnut Reviews
  ### 1. Unethical and Outdated Renewal Processes

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

I can’t say anything in particular stands out.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

Walnut does not provide renewal notices and requires written notice of termination. In this day and age, this practice is not only outdated, it’s incredibly customer unfriendly. Beware they will intimidate you to renew.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allowed customers to demo certain aspects of the product.

**Official Response from Tia Wucher:**

> We're sorry to hear about your experience. We will review our renewal processes to ensure they align with modern customer expectations.

  ### 2. An Amazing Tool that every Sales Organization Needs to Scale Product Demos

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenifer H. | Solutions Consultant 🦄 , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

I love the fact that it enables our teams to scale our demo process. We are moving at a high velocity and often, there is not enough time to schedule a 1:1 demo per customer. With Walnut, it's made the sales cycle so much more manageable and effective by sending a walnut-captured interactive demo that simulates the same effect.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

Editing is a little confusing and UI could be improved

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Walnut, we’ve transformed our approach to demos, making them more impactful and efficient. Our team no longer needs to juggle multiple schedules for individual demos; instead, we can create customized, interactive experiences that prospects can access at their convenience. This flexibility has allowed us to reach a broader audience and convey our product’s unique features more effectively, ultimately driving higher engagement and faster decision-making

**Official Response from Tia Wucher:**

> Thanks for the great rating and the specific feedback about the editor experience—we're actively improving the UI/UX and would love to walk through the friction points with you. Your edge cases help us build a better product for everyone. Here’s my calendly: https://shorturl.at/mSZeB

  ### 3. Demo Software that does everything we need with excellent support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mitch C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Walnut is very easy to use from an admin perspective. Building demos and tours takes no time at all, while offering the features and functinality we were looking for. We're using it for live demos, guided website tours, and sales leave behinds to give our teams a repeatable demo experience and provide prospects with more access to what the experience is like with our products.

The support with Walnut has been outstanding, really have been surprised and impressed with how quickly questions are answered. Support has helped us do some creative things with our demos we weren't able to do on our own, all completed promptly.

They're also really improving the product quickly with new features coming out to support better customization and better demo experiences. Really excited for what the future holds in store for Walnut!

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

Not really much to complain about. It would be great if we could do some of the demo aspects on our own like adding videos but support is so quick to help us do that it really isn't a challenge.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Walnut is helping us create standardized demo experiences for our sellers and prospects. We are using it for live demos, sales leave behinds, and website tours - although I feel like we are just scratching the surface on what can be done.

Walnut is allowing us to do several things, like:
- Standardize demo experiences and improve them without having to build or maintain a demo sandbox
- Provide prospects with more access to our product on our website and leave behinds
- Highlight future products and features before they are ready helping build pipeline earlier

**Official Response from Tia Wucher:**

> This review made our day—thank you! As we continue evolving Walnut's performance, UX, and features, we'd love to keep you in the loop and tap into your expertise occasionally. Interested in early access to new features or quick feedback sessions? Here’s my calendly: https://shorturl.at/mSZeB

  ### 4. Excellent experience top-to-bottom

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin D. | Vice President, Pre-Sales, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

- Easy to use, reliable software that works as-advertised.
- Creating, embedding, and distributing Walnuts is super easy, so adoption took off like wildfire after initial training. I'm glad we budgeted for more than just our Sales and Marketing teams to have licenses, because it has become a default tool for internal use as well.
- Implementation was very straightforward. Time-to-value was near instant.
- The team both selling and supporting post-sale are among the best I've ever worked with at a third-party vendor.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

As with any software there will always be little UI quirks here and there, but their product team is very receptive to feedback and happy to explain why they've implemented something a certain way (which makes sense).

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Enabling our prospects to try our product "hands-on" without a freemium model or having to speak to Sales.
- Allowing the Product team to communicate their vision and demo new features in a low-risk, controlled environment
- Allowing Sales Engineers to demonstrate custom or bespoke workflows as "take-away" materials for sales demos which can be shared internally

  ### 5. Walnut is a game changer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhik M. | Sr. Director of Product & Customer Marketing, Hospital & Health Care, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

The ease of use and ability to quickly build a polished and interactive demo experience is second to none. The variety of use cases that tackle training, websites, and customer experiences make this the perfect well-rounded business tool. Integration is a breeze and learning curve and training only make that easier. Customer support has been top notch. We are using Walnut almost everyday and plan to expand our use of it!

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

At this point, this is a field that is empty.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem was relying on a stable network to ensure a seamless demo experience. This presents a unique challenge in having a demo environment ready to go, but also a stable network to make sure there are no glitches. With Walnut, we aren't sweating over a reliable network and can also storyboard our demo into unique modules making it easier for our teams and customers to interact.

**Official Response from Tia Wucher:**

> Thank you for your glowing review of Walnut! We're thrilled to hear that you find our platform easy to use and versatile for various business needs. It's fantastic to know that you appreciate our integration capabilities and top-notch customer support.

We're delighted that Walnut has helped you overcome the challenge of relying on a stable network for seamless demos. By providing a reliable platform and the ability to storyboard demos into unique modules, we aim to make the experience smoother for both your teams and customers.

If you ever have any questions or need assistance as you expand your use of Walnut, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to support you every step of the way! Here’s my calendly: https://shorturl.at/mSZeB

  ### 6. Walnut - clickable, customizable demos for everyone

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aviva R. | Co-Founder and COO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Using Walnut, it's so easy to create clickable demos to show during calls or to send to customers afterwards. Within a minute you can add a customer's logo to personalize the experience.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

Still some kinks in actually creating the demos, organizing them, and customizing - it took me a while to do the initial creation. Also it doesn't save automatically.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can make a huge difference in sales to have a great demo. It also shows our products as they are in real life vs the designer version, and makes it easy to keep demos up to date.

  ### 7. Walnut is the SaaS version of a multi-tool in your toolbox!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristin A. S. | Solutions Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

After much research, Walnut was the sole product that met all our requirements from a usability, security, and reporting perspective. The platform is intuitive and easy to use effectively from day one. Implementation and integrations were so simple it's hard to consider them as separate topics!
I didn't need support because the help articles and access to information are so easy to find, but I have no doubt they will be a great team to work with, too.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

The platform is constantly improving, with features and benefits being updated and launched, so finding something I dislike is challenging.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are an emerging brand in North America, though we have been globally known since 2001. Walnut has undeniably made sharing pre- or post-demo experiences easier to increase our brand awareness and educate prospects to further the conversation. We can create and share personalized mini-demos to showcase the platform in ways no marketing materials or collateral can accomplish in the same way. The demos can be interactive, have audio overlays, and be guided and engaging (to name a few things) while allowing prospects to click around and understand our software solution's benefits before we even get to the deeper dive. I can highlight more in-depth details during a live demonstration since the clients know the surface-level features and benefits, making meetings more productive. We have only recently launched Walnut, but based on the reporting metrics, we are already shortening the days between conversations and the next steps.

  ### 8. Powerful & Flexible

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Their breathe of features that help you design the 'perfect' demo. The ability to customize to the degree Walnut can comes in handy when the product you're trying to show is a bit more complex and less straightforward. Another huge benfit is that Walnut is constantly updating and listens to customer feedback.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

While Walnut is powerful and flexible, other tools tend to have certain, what seems to be basic, functionality that Walnut lacks or requires customization. The building experience takes a bit longer to grasp, though a recent update has made it a bit easier.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Walnut helps us create self-guided demostrations that are able to educate, engage, and generate leads all by itself. Additionally, we're able to create product experiences that has served us tremendously at in-person events that also help educate and engage our customers by showcasing parts of our product/platform that they may have never used.

**Official Response from Tia Wucher:**

> Thanks for sticking with us through the initial learning curve—we're working on making onboarding smoother. We'd love to understand where you hit the most friction during setup so we can optimize for similar workflows. Here’s my calendly: https://shorturl.at/mSZeB

  ### 9. An essential demonstration tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Versatility - We use Walnut for internal and external training and demo purposes across a broad number of platforms and have had huge success doing so.
Ease of use - The captures, creation of guides, and ability to track and report are all incredibly intuitive and powerful
Improvements - During our time using Walnut we have seen numerous updates to the platform and have had a great experience with our Customer Success rep to understand our needs and discuss feature requests and enhancements.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

My team has not experienced any major issues or blockers with Walnut

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing our organization to demonstrate the power of our platform to customers in a repeatible, reportable method.

  ### 10. Product has come a long way

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Pretty easy to use and they do seem to release new features frequently, e.g. they were quick to integrate GenAI. There's a lot of functionality and options with the tool that I haven't had the time / need to fully discover as the base product covers what I need - i.e. create simple product tours - 80% of the time. I think the best part about it is its support team who are fairly responsive and able to escalate issues appropriately.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

It can be buggy - e.g. the multi-resolution mode frequently messes up my browser window when I try to use it - and depending on your product, it may not be able to capture screens appropriately (but that's where support comes in!)

**Recommendations to others considering Walnut:**

n/a

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Capture problems, primarily related to a feature in my tool that's rather specific to our tool, but they are trying to resolve so that I can capture these more easily.

  ### 11. Must have tool for any business in the SaaS industry!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abbie H. | Marketing Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Thoroughly impressed with Walnut, it allows our company to easily showcase our SaaS product. The ability to customise any text field or image is a great advantage. Applicable for many use-cases - we're currently using it for marketing, pre-sales, post-sales, and internal training.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

Nothing to dislike. One thing to note is although it is user-friendly, there is a bit of a learning curve - but its only a short curve, and the Customer Success Team and Support Team are incredibly helpful.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Walnut truly has revolutionalised the way we engage with our prospects and customers. We were unable to consistently demonstrate our platform prior to using Walnut - and now we can tailor absolutely everything with ease. It's also saved our Sales Team a lot of valuable time.

**Official Response from Tia Wucher:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Walnut! We're glad to hear that it has been beneficial for showcasing your SaaS product and has had a positive impact on your marketing, pre-sales, post-sales, and internal training efforts. We appreciate your feedback and are here to support you with any learning curve. Here’s my calendly: https://shorturl.at/mSZeB

  ### 12. Great start to our relationship

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Ease of use and implementation, we managed to build out our first demos with little or no training.

Our CSM has been awesome to deal with and there's no restriction to how much help they will provide.

Licensing model is really simple to understand.

New features being released all the time and a genuine product feature feedback loop.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

Support for Mobile Apps is a little convoluted, but they seem to be working on it

Could have cheaper licensing for Presenter only roles

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reduce reliance on "live" demo environments as we scale the sales team.
Making live demos easier for our Sales team.
Reducing Sales team's reliance on Pre-Sales in early stage demos.

**Official Response from Tia Wucher:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you find Walnut easy to use and implement, and that our CSM has been helpful. We appreciate your feedback on the support for Mobile Apps and licensing, and we'll definitely take it into consideration for future improvements. It's great to hear that Walnut is helping to reduce reliance on live demo environments and making live demos easier for your sales team.

  ### 13. Show, don't tell - Walnut has been a game changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Logan M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Our organization uses Walnut to give our prospects a hands-on product experience. We're able to combine showcasing feature/functionality with a true value proposition message.

Whenever I have an issue or question, we get amazing customer support from our CSM Nicole.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

Sometimes capturing exactly what you want can be tricky, but the product has progressed so much over the last couple of years I've been a user it's a night and day difference now in usability.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are now better able to showcase our products to prospects, announce new features to customers, more effectively train our sales staff on our products, and provide self-serve demo stations at live events.

**Official Response from Tia Wucher:**

> Thanks for the great rating and the specific feedback about the editor experience—we're actively improving the UX and would love to walk through the friction points with you. Your edge cases help us build a better product for everyone. Here’s my calendly: https://shorturl.at/mSZeB

  ### 14. Exactly what we were looking for

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nadine M. | cmo, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

We offer a lot of customization in our software solution so being able to build custom demos has been a huge value add. Historically we could only demo our internal account and we knew we needed a way to show different tech stacks, small and large sized organizations, unique roles, etc. Walnut has made that really easy.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

The process of creating and editing base templates can be tedious because our software has a lot of data points and reports.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to prepare custom demos for prospects and market how our product works

**Official Response from Tia Wucher:**

> Thanks for sticking with us through the initial learning curve—we're working on making onboarding smoother. We'd love to understand where you hit the most friction during setup so we can optimize for similar workflows. Here’s my calendly: https://shorturl.at/mSZeB

**Official Response from Tia Wucher:**

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Walnut is really easy to use. Once we get the screens in, we can edit them as we like which is really helpful for customizations of demos. Creating links and sharing of demos is also easy and this is a great tool which is used by our team often.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

I use walnut to create a flow of demos and don't really see any downside to it. Things are constantly being upgraded which is helpful.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With help of walnuts, it has been really easy for us to customize our demos according to different prospects.

**Official Response from Tia Wucher:**

> Thank you for the fantastic review and for being a Walnut advocate. We're continuously improving the product and would love to hear more about your experience and any ideas you have. Quick call? Here’s my calendly: https://shorturl.at/mSZeB

  ### 17. A Love Letter to Walnut

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

I use Walnut almost every day for work. I make, update, and change Walnuts daily with ease and with zero stress. The platform is amazing for creating demos for fellow teammates and customers - showing off our new products/features, guiding new customers through the platform, and teaching employees about internal features. We see great usage between employees and customers! Everyone is such a fan. I love the updates and new features Walnut announces and I'm always so excited to implement them into my usage. Support and my go-to contact are the best and always go above and beyond whenever I run into something. I highly recommend Walnut - it's great for support, customers, and internal training!

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

When I first started using Walnut, I noticed it was a little buggy. However, Walnut has significantly improved and I don't notice that many bugs anymore. I can honestly say that currently, there is nothing I dislike about Walnut.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Walnut for a number of reasons. We use it to help announce and teach new features/products, we create Walnuts going over existing features for teaching, troubleshooting, and support purposes. Lastly, we use Walnuts for sales/onboarding purposes. We find that our top-visited Walnuts are the ones going over new features.

**Official Response from Tia Wucher:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Walnut! We're glad to hear that you've noticed significant improvements in the platform's performance and that our support team has been able to provide exceptional assistance when needed. Interested in early access to new features or quick feedback sessions? Here’s my calendly: https://shorturl.at/mSZeB

How easy it is to use it, how thoughful the features are and it makes the demo look and feel so real. Also the support from the walnut team is great.

It helps us create demos for the sales team which are story driven , intutive and makes the technical glitches non existent

**Official Response from Tia Wucher:**

  ### 20. Easy to use tool with great UX

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

The UX is simple and intuitive. It was easy for me to learn how to use the tool, and therefore I know that our Sales team can easily use it, too. I appreciate that it gives the ability for our teams to have both on-demand demands and live demos.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

There have been a couple of bugs, but my CSM and the Walnut Support team are always helpful to find a solution.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need the ability to demo our platform in a way that helps showcase our product's flexibility. Walnut helps us do just that.

**Official Response from Tia Wucher:**

> Thank you for the fantastic review and for being a Walnut advocate. We're continuously improving the product and would love to hear more about your experience and any ideas you have. Quick call? Here’s my calendly: https://shorturl.at/mSZeB

  ### 21. Extremely helpful during the sales process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shane F. | Cobra Puma Golf Representative , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

I love how customizable Walnut is. Allowing you to open the door to prospects, enabling them to really see what the solution would look like and work for their specific company.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

I would say it is a process to understand how to build out walnuts, but once you do understand it is quite easy.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Walnut enables our teams to build out custom demo platforms for each one of our prospects. This allows the prospect to really see and understand the value of our platform and envision themselves as users.

  ### 22. Great experience with the software and the customer service team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

The customer service team is top-notch. They ensure all my issues are addressed and resolved at the earliest possible.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

Too many product features get released in a short period. It becomes difficult to keep track of the latest updates and even try them out for that matter.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used Walnut to create demo content that can be shared with our internal stakeholders, customers, prospects, and partners. The guides feature in Walnut helps me create a detailed demo flow thereby eliminating the need of having a demo script.

**Official Response from Tia Wucher:**

> Thank you for the fantastic review and for being a Walnut advocate. We're continuously improving the product and would love to hear more about your experience and any ideas you have. Quick call? Here’s my calendly: https://shorturl.at/mSZeB

  ### 23. Very useful tool for demonstration of software.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

The software is pretty straightforward and quick to build a demo once you get acquainted with it.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

Certain Java screens are not captured as they pop up. The new screen grab options I think cover this to an extent.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Demonstrating a process or workflow where a person can see it on thier own time and then come back for reference as needed is helpful. I can tell the tool is quickly maturing. The most recent releases have seemed to be very good at implementing fixes or features exactly where they were needed most.

The people supporting us are professional, enthusiastic, and a real asset. I can tell the company culture has to be a good one. They are a pleasure to work with.

**Official Response from Tia Wucher:**

Walnut's easy to use platform has made it a breeze for our customer education team to create self-guided product training tutorials. This has enabled us to streamline our training process and empowered our customers to learn at their own pace effectively.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

We initally had some difficulty building Walnut demos from a mobile point of view because the platform only allows us to take screencaptures from a web browser. However, the Walnut Customer Support team has been open to the feedback and have found us workarounds to build these type of demos.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can create interactive product training tutorials for our customers.

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

I like how easy and straightforward it is to get a clear picture of the product UX and flow path. It's much more efficient than having to constantly work around schedules to get a demo, when this often fits the bill.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

I have nothing to say at the moment on this topic

  ### 30. Empowering our sales with Walnut's platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark S. | VP of Sales, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Walnut has pretty much changed our approach to crafting and delivering product demos. Its no-code, easy-to-navigate platform lets our team to construct personalized demonstrations, even without technical know-how. The automatic updating of changes and styles through the smart object feature makes customizing demos for diverse clientele a breeze. Moreover, Walnut's sleek UI editor and Chrome extension facilitate the seamless creation of immersive storylines and guided tours. Customers really like the demos we make with Walnut.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

Some of our team members grappled with the distinction between demos and storylines initially. So I think that more tutorials on this subject would benefit users who are new to the world of demonstration creation. Though, the CS team is super nice.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Walnut, we've managed to cut down significantly on the time and resources previously required for demo creation and presentation. This has allowed our sales team to focus on building stronger relationships with clients and ultimately closing more deals. The platform's ability to customize and adapt demonstrations for different audiences has been a game-changer, resulting in increased client satisfaction and enhanced sales performance.

  ### 31. Really robust solution with amazing support

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to quickly create personalized demos to show clients/prospects.

**Official Response from Tia Wucher:**

  ### 32. Walnut: Superb personalized Sales Demos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth P. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Personalised sales demos are revolutionised by walnut. Without requiring any code, it is customizable and straightforward to use. I value how it enables us to centralise our demos and develop engaging stories that leave a lasting impression on our clients.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

We initially encountered some difficulties figuring out how to use Walnut. It took a while for me to become used to its features. But after experimenting and honing our skills, we were able to fully utilise the platforms possibilities and produce demos that made much more of an impact. While getting going was a little challenging, we ran into some snags in the storylines we were showcasing that unintentionally created the appearance that the end result was progressing poorly

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our sales team has overcome the difficulty of uneven demos after installing Walnut. We have been able to centralise and streamline our demos thanks to the platform, which has saved us a lot of time and money. Our customers now benefit from personalised and interesting experiences. We have seen greater conversion rates as a result, which has led to more leads being generated. Overall, Walnut has been a huge asset to our company and has had a beneficial impact on all aspects of our operations.

  ### 33. The best content experience and demo automation software is Walnut.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phoenix H. | CEO, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

The most helpful thing about Walnut is that it's a great platform for customizing and optimizing demos. Another advantage of using it is that it is a very helpful platform to take demos to the next level. It has the facility to display the individual products beautifully for the clients. This platform is very easy to use as compared to other platforms.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

I haven't found anything bad to comment on on this platform yet, as everything has been very helpful to me. But I think this platform needs more documentation and KB support.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform is helping me a lot in solving my problems in business because, since using it, my company's sales have increased, and it has helped me a lot in speeding up the sales. It was a great platform to create demos very easily and quickly, and it saved me a lot of time and money. To communicate well with clients and have a lot of success in business.

  ### 34. It's a great idea, but horrible UX

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

I like all the editing capabilities and the possibility to add guides to demos in my brand's tone of voice.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

The user experience leaves much to be desired.
At first I thought that it is because I keep hitting corner cases. However on further use I have found the UX to be too bumpy.
Simple things like the fact a menu item often (but not always) needs to be clicked twice for it to execute, or how hard it is to change the order of screens, even though it was designed as a simple drag and drop.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can create an interactive demo so people can try my product with zero overhead.

  ### 35. Good system for demonstrating an evolving product as an early-stage startup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bradley F. | Head of Sales, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Walnut is super easy to use and get started building our storylines and demos
- We have a product that's always evolving and therefore Walnut gives us a way to demo the product without having to create demos live in the product from scratch
- Walnut gives us consistency amongst the demos we do as a sales team; before we'd have salespeople showing different parts of the product
- CS is great, Nick has been super helpful as has the engineering team in making improvements to our storylines

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

- Getting started was a little tricky and we had some delays in the storylines we were demo-ing, which gave the impression that the product was running slowly
- It can take a couple of minutes to get all your demos ready ahead of a live product demo

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Inconsistent demos from the sales team --> Centralising demos amongst the sales team
- Sales people breaking old demo accounts --> A single set of workflows for our demos
- Uncustomisable demos -> Demos are customised for prospects

  ### 36. Game-changing platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew G. | Chief Revenue Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Extremely easy to use. The platform is very intuitive and not much more complicated than putting together a deck on Google Slides. That said, there are a number of ways you can further customize the "stories" you create.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

While not a steep learning curve at all, it did take a little bit of time to get used to dragging-and-dropping certain things, or getting my head around all the different bells and whistles you can employ to make your story pop.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are traditionally multiple stakeholders involved in the buying decision of our product. Using Walnut has allowed us to speed up our sales cycle significantly by avoiding unnecessary manual walkthroughs of our platform.

  ### 37. Great product, even better support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris B. | Product Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Walnut has allowed us to take our demos to the next level with an engaging, self-guided experience that has helped us grow the top of our lead funnel. It's extremely easy getting in contact with their support team and are very receptive to feature requests.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

I haven't experienced anything major I've disliked about Walnut so far. Just small workflow improvements that would make creating and updating storylines easier.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Walnut for two use cases: website lead generation and tailored presentations for existing prospects in our current funnel. Walnut is generating leads for us and allowing us to easily create custom product walkthroughs which, without Walnut, would require a lot of internal resources.

  ### 38. Changed our business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Walnut has changed our sales business. Walnut allows us to show our Veeam Powered M365 Back-up tool Cirrus, without having to do demos for our "run rate" business saving us time and money. It allows customers to see our great UI without having to do a demo. It has had a massive impact on our sales as our sales have increased by around 60% since we bought Walnut with less resources. I can't recommended this tool for SaaS software businesses.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

Nothing we have seen so far. Great support from the team and lots of new features always arriving

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to do more demos with less resources.

  ### 39. A Game-Changer for Our Sales Process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

The way it effortlessly tailors presentations to individual prospects, enhancing engagement and making our sales pitches more effective - and the UX.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

The learning curve was a bit of a challenge

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Walnut, I've noticed a considerable reduction in the challenges often associated with live demos, particularly inconsistent messaging and technical hiccups. The platform's emphasis on personalization ensures that each demo resonates well with its intended audience. Furthermore, the analytics provided are insightful, shedding light on areas for improvement. Overall, from my experience, there's been a positive impact on engagement and conversion rates.

**Official Response from Tia Wucher:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with Walnut! It's great to hear that the platform has helped reduce challenges during live demos and improve the effectiveness of your sales pitches. We appreciate your feedback about the learning curve, and we're committed to providing resources to support users as they get up to speed with Walnut. Here’s my calendly if you ever need additional support or training: https://shorturl.at/mSZeB

  ### 40. Tailoring beautiful demos with Walnut's versatile demo editor

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denise B. | Area Sales Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Walnut has been an indispensable tool for our team, enabling us to design highly-engaging and tailored product demos. We really like its compatibility across devices, I’ve personally used it in four different environments and it always works seamlessly. Demos are always polished and leave a lasting impression on our clients. Walnut's ability to customize and personalize demos adds that extra touch, making our presentations truly stand out.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

Still lacks some API support. This would help to enhance Walnut's offering and allow for even more versatile interactive demonstrations.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since using Walnut, our team has been able to create demos more easily and quickly. This has saved us time and allowed us to focus on other important tasks. The personalized demos also help us better connect with our clients, leading to more successful sales interactions. Overall, Walnut has made a positive impact on our business.

  ### 41. Amazing tool for creating demonstrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sophia E. | Sales Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

I've had the pleasure of using Walnut to create engaging and personalized product demonstrations for various clients. The intuitive interface and customization options make it a breeze for my team to create visually stunning and effective demos that our clients absolutely love!

What I love about Walnut is the ability to quickly put together a demo that not only showcases the product but also highlights how it can address the unique needs of each prospect. Additionally, the fact that it is so easy to use means that even our non-technical team members can create impressive demos without needing any coding skills.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

There isn’t much. Their subscriptions are affordable and the support is great on the rare occasion that an issue occurs. I have had a hiccup here and there when making demos (on an M1 Macbook mind you) but this hasn’t worried me.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our clients have been consistently impressed with the demos we've created using Walnut, which has positively impacted our sales and client retention rates. Walnut has been an invaluable tool for our marketing company, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to create engaging and customizable product demonstrations.

  ### 42. Engaging product walkthroughs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Helen W. | Senior Product Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Acts as a 'try before you engage sales'. We use Walnuts in our demand campaigns as well as individual outreach from sellers. It's a great platform to highlight a complicated product and give users the experience of clicking around themselves.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

Really looking forward to marketing automation integrations that are on the near-term roadmap.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a comprehensive platform with multiple products. Walnut lets us simplify a 'sneak peek' of our product in an intuitive way so we can tailor messaging to our different personas. We use it for sales outreach, demand gen, and presales.

  ### 43. Awesome, flexible tool, backed with a stellar CX team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

There are so many different ways you can use this tool to engage with your prospects and collaborators. We're all stapped on time, and often, a finely-tuned, simple guided tour is just what your leads need to take the jump and commit to a demo.

The UI editor is slick, and creating a storyline from the chrome extension is so simple.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

There's not much I can say here. Like any software, there is a learning curve, but this one is pretty smooth. I think a larger file capacity for gifs could be attractive, but again, there are so many creative ways the platform allows you to communicate.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Walnut solves the "show me" problem - that is, guided tours and demos can be immensely impactful in the selling process, where illustrating and showing "how" value is derived from a particular tool can be so important.

If you're a creative person who wants to sell your ideas internally, it's also good for that!

  ### 44. A gamechanger for product demonstrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankit J. | Area Sales Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

For our team, Walnut is a game-changer in the world of product demonstrations. The platform offers a codeless, user-friendly approach to creating and presenting demonstrations, which frees our salespeople from the time-consuming and often cumbersome process of coordinating with multiple teams. If I had to pick my favorite feature, it would be the smart object feature, as it allows objects to automatically inherit changes and styles, streamlining the creation process.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

We have had no large complaints or dislikes in our duration of use.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, Walnut is the solution to the "show me" problem. Another review mentioned this and I agree entirely. A Walnut demonstration delivers an efficient and effective way to illustrate the value of a product, leading to more successful sales. So far, users have been thoroughly impressed with the platform, with no major complaints reported.

  ### 45. The best demo creation tool on the market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin L. | Strategic Partnerships & Sales Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

The brand is massive, good job guys!

It's easy to use and did wonders to our conversion rates. The smart object feature allows objects to inherit changes and styles automatically. This makes it really easy to adapt my demonstrations to different audiences with different requirements.

I recently moved to a new team and I often need to demo our hardware and software products which are massively different products that are have demos tailored to different audiences. Walnut makes this process a breeze. It's no sweat at all to switch between different demos and new ones can be created in no time at all.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

The only thing that could be considered a dislike or something to improve in my eyes, is the demo vs storyline concept. It took a little bit for me to figure that one out.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Walnut benefits me by reducing the time I spend on creating demos which lets me spend more time cultivating demos!

I don't need to hire a bunch of devs or graph designers too, so that saves my team's bottom line.

  ### 46. Walnut is fantastic! What a tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex G. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

We had a hard time scaling our demo's until we found Walnut. Using the tool has been an effective way for our team to not only speed up user acquisition but also discover new ways for users to get deeper into the platform faster.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

It was a little difficult to learn at first. But once we got into it, well worth the curve...

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accomplishing more demo's with less people and time.

  ### 47. One stop shop for demos!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack T. | Sales Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Walnut allows individual salespeople to handle the entire demo process from start to finish, saving valuable time and resources. The UI editor is sleek and intuitive, making it simple to create engaging storylines with ease. The platform's ability to customize and modify demonstrations for different audiences on demand is a massive benefit, helping salespeople close more deals faster to a variety of audiences.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

Just more documentation on the storyline concept - a lot of our team was very new to creating demonstrations and it took them a moment to figure out how to use it.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our salespeople are more productive and can give more professional and cohesive demonstrations of our products. In short, Walnut helps to uplift our conversion rates and complete more deals.

  ### 48. Demonstrations no longer call for an entire team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mani B. | Sales Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

One of the standout features of Walnut is its codeless nature, eliminating the need for assistance from any external teams, be that design or development. I can handle the entire demo process from creation to presentation on my own!

This enables me to create product demonstrations very quickly and modify different versions depending on the audience on the fly.

Ultimately this means that my sales flow is more efficient and I can perform more (and better) product demos.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

I've been using Walnut for a number of months and I haven't any complaints. I'll update this review if I encounter any.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The time involved in creating impactful sales demonstrations has been cut in half (or more).

I no longer need to involve third parties, I can handle the whole process myself.

  ### 49. Walnut is the only sales tool we use

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

Walnut is the only sales platform we use at our company. With Walnut, we can quickly and easily create personalized and interactive instances of our web product, which speeds up the sales process and helps us onboard large clients. In addition, the cost of Walnut is relatively low. It has a directly measurable positive ROI, which makes it a great choice.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

More documentation and KB support is needed to become a power user. I would really like the Walnut team to add this as I think all users could benefit from a better knowledgebase.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, quite a lot. Walnut has been a really useful tool for our organization. It's helped us simplify our demo process and it always delivers positive results. The ability to use the platform to present demos and not just create them was an added bonus that we weren't expecting but is really appreciated!

  ### 50. Better than the competition

**What do you like best about Walnut?**

There are a number of features I like about Walnut over a competing tool that I’ve used before:

- The ability to quickly create product demos from templates without having to code from scratch.

- The wide range of pre-ready storylines and customization options available without resorting to third parties.

- The built-in analytics that let you see how your demo is performing with potential customers.

**What do you dislike about Walnut?**

There's only one thing: They should add more guides. I think I could have become familiar with Walnut much faster with more comprehensive documentation and training.

**What problems is Walnut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Walnut is solving the issue of having to create sales demos from scratch, which can be time-consuming and expensive when done manually. By providing a wide range of templates and customization options, Walnut makes it easy to create a demo that is tailored to our specific service. The built-in analytics also allow us to track how our demos are performing with potential customers, so you can make necessary changes to improve your conversion rate and split test with different demos.
