One of my favorite features is the direct post. This creates an event-specific social experience for attendees to interact with each other. When paired with a photobooth integration, you really get to see the personality of the event and it's attendees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We found walls.io easy to add and follow hashtags and easy to integrate the wall into the website. The support team were very nice, fast support and provided a complimentary subscription when we explained what we were trying to do for our charity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only downside we experienced was some spam posts utilising our followed hashtags. However, I don't think the downsides are particular to walls.io, as no doubt all social walls require moderation. This was quickly solved with the built in moderation/blocking tools, including adding lists of spam terms to block, as well as user level blocking controls (blocking the offender account) etc.
