The intuitive platform interface is significant, allowing even those without formal payroll training to navigate the entire pay run process confidently. The ability to configure preset and custom incomes and deductions is hugely valuable for our consulting business, letting us add project bonuses, one-time stipends, and adjust deductions easily. The employee self-service portal is a standout feature, enabling our consultants and contractors to download pay stubs and retrieve year-end documentation independently, eliminating routine admin requests. I also value how seamlessly Wagepoint connects to our accounting workflow, which minimizes manual data entry and errors. Additionally, the customer support team is consistently approachable, offering assistance without the confusing jargon typical in fintech services. These features collectively reduce the heavy administrative burden of payroll for our lean team, allowing us to focus on client consulting and core business growth. **What do you dislike about Wagepoint?** The platform lacks robust native project-based payroll tracking capabilities, which is a major pain point for our IT consulting firm. We need to allocate payroll costs to individual client engagements for accurate billing and profitability analysis, but Wagepoint cannot tag payroll expenses to specific projects natively. Our operations team must manually export payroll data and cross-reference it with our project management tool every pay cycle, adding hours of extra administrative work each month. Able to connect after several days of trying. ### 3. Now I am stuck with multiple paygroups that I would have done differently. **What problems is Wagepoint solving and how is that benefiting you?** ERP accounting program that doesn't have PR. Employees have direct access to their information 24/7. As it is now I have to download the payroll to send to him to approve **Recommendations to others considering Wagepoint:** Make sure you are aware of when payroll needs to be run. Being in the West Coast we didn't run our payroll the first time early enough **What problems is Wagepoint solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not having to do manual cheques.
