I love the extensive library of characters and assets, plus the ability to customize them for my organization. I create a variety of characters to represent our workforce and use custom brand logos on character shirts and around the work environment. Branding characters to use across courses helps learners put concepts into context in the broader view. I was thrilled when Vyond brought on WellSaid voices. I love that Vyond lets me create polished videos and the process doesn't slow down my course development, so I can still finish within our tight timelines. I really like being able to build and pull from my own library of assets and reuse scenes. Once I became comfortable with Vyond's features, I was able to create faster. I mostly reuse full scenes because the ability to zoom in on different sections of the screen gives me more flexibility with just one scene. Setup was easy since my company already had the license and all I had to do was use SSO to get started. I can also use Vyond with Storyline, and use them in Rise courses via Storyline blocks. I like the ability to quickly make engaging videos on any topic - we use them within our company eLearning modules and they are a great way to mix things up and present information in an engaging way. It is easy to use, and they offer a lot of training and support. The AI/text to video feature allows you to fully upload a script and then have Vyond do the rest of the work for you. It's pricey. It's difficult for me to justify the cost to people who want to use it for what I do. I get there are a lot of companies that are footing the bill for the training videos, but for storytellers like myself who doesn't use a lot of the AI avatar stuff, it's a bit pricey. I could use the branded stuff but that's paywalled behind the more expensive tiers. So it's like I have a bunch of stuff I don't need, and the stuff I do need, I'd have to pay way more for. I find Vyond super user-friendly and appreciate the AI support for creating videos, which saves a lot of time. The excellent text-to-speech feature, with far more realistic voices in different languages than other programs I've worked with, is vital for my training videos. I find Vyond to be an incredibly valuable tool, both as a learning developer and as a learner. The interface is easy to navigate, the drag-and-drop features save me a ton of time, and the AI features and content packs feel current and are refreshed regularly so the output reflects today’s standards. I can also easily integrate videos created in Vyond into other development tools, such as Articulate, to create richer learning experiences. Performance wise, Vyond’s built-in features speed up my development time, which makes my customers happier. My company prefers the Classic office characters, so I wish there were more actions and expressions available for those characters. The animations are great, but what animations are available sometimes seems random. Like I can have someone standing and giving a thumbs up, but that's not available for a sitting person.
