What do you like best about Vultr?

There are 5 things I love about Vultr that other clouds could learn from:

1. Amazing prices

2. Global locations

3. Very Generous Network bandwidth limits

4. Great and fast customer service

5. Ease of use

Each of these could be dived into for a longer explanation, but suffice it to say these are the qualities I've chosen that make it a great platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vultr?

I think the part I dislike the most is lack of advanced features and platform tools. I think this could be a great addition by scaling out new PaaS features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I like this product very much."
5/5
What do you like best about Vultr?

I like this product very much. It meets my needs perfectly.

I am a university student in mainland China. The campus network at my school charges for IPv4 traffic but provides free IPv6 traffic. Therefore, I need a server to help forward both IPv4 and IPv6 traffic generated by my computer. By forwarding my traffic through this server, I can access websites like Google Scholar for free. The Vultr server meets my needs for only 5 to 6 dollars a month, which is really affordable and useful. And the locations of your server nodes are also diverse.

I'm really grateful for your product. It's both economical and user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vultr?

Vultr server has a limited number of nodes at $5, and new servers today only have nodes at $6 a month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Platform to Use Kubernetes"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Vultr?

The cost of the instance itself is low compared to other companies, and it is easy to configure a service that is light enough to not have to consider the cost of the control-plane node significantly when configuring a Kubernetes cluster. It is also a low-cost test plan for research and development and will continue to use the vultr platform as an experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vultr?

I once left a technical support ticket for Kubernetes, and I was disappointed that an answer like a bot with an account support label told me to check the firewall for 80,443 ports.

Of course, it was not a platform problem and it should be checked by our development team using the application, but I hope the plan or service product for the support ticket like AWS is more detailed and direct to the user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy usability at a low cost"
5/5
What do you like best about Vultr?

The platform's design is very user-friendly, creating a new server is very easy and fast, when I requested support, the response was in less than 24 hours. I used the application for two weeks, daily, and it was always available, integrating my processes into this platform was very easy. It has a variety of products which help solve a large number of issues within the same application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vultr?

The truth is, there are few things I don't like, as it practically wins in prices and variety of solutions against the competition, in addition to the availability of multiple regions where you can launch your VMs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Awesome and affordable"
5/5
What do you like best about Vultr?

Vultr, unlike a bare-bones VPS provider, does tackle the modern IaaS market, but it retains a pricing structure and user interface that are each recognizable to the traditional VPS consumer. Vultr is well-regarded, and highly performant, and it offers a free trial for new signups.

Here are what I consider to be Vultr’s key features:

presence in the Terraform registry,

KVM-based virtualization with cloud-init support,

internal “VPC” networking, and

BGP and IPv6 support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vultr?

Vultr could use a little more attention to detail regarding IPAM and VPC. For example, I want to be able to self-assign internal IP addresses within VPC 1.0, not have them be assigned sequentially only, and I would like to be able to spin up instances using pre-reserved IPv6 addresses, similar to how I can do with IPv4. I would also like to be able to spin up an instance that has neither a public IPv6 address nor a public IPv4 address, and I will handle my own public-facing entirely by self-managed gateways within my VPC. "Vultr: Cloud Excellence"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Vultr?

One of the standout features of Vultr is its intuitive and user-friendly interface. Navigating through the control panel is a breeze, making it easy for both beginners and experienced developers to manage their infrastructure effortlessly. The clean design and well-organized dashboard allow for quick access to crucial features, reducing the learning curve and streamlining the deployment process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vultr?

One notable drawback of Vultr is the somewhat limited range of customer support channels. While they offer responsive assistance through tickets, the absence of live chat or phone support can be a hindrance for users who prefer immediate, real-time solutions to their issues. "Excellent service"
5/5
What do you like best about Vultr?

I love how quickly I can spin up a server and complete necessary tasks with Vultr. The server boot-up time is impressively fast, typically under five minutes. Their servers perform excellently, and their customer service responds promptly to messages. Overall, Vultr is an outstanding hosting company that I highly recommend. What do you dislike about Vultr?

The only downside I can think of right now is perhaps the documentation, which could be a bit better. I would appreciate more detailed documentation and maybe a few FAQs. Other than that, I can't fault them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good prices, decent hosting options"
5/5
What do you like best about Vultr?

The ease to setup, along with custom ISO support is some key reasons why I utilise vultr, alongside the reasonably low costs. We mostly operate some non-essential services on this service that require a connection from any network without relying on any other infastructure to protect our primary network.

Downtime is minimal if not none (we never noticed any) and have had no hickups along the setup and just continous use of the system and can recommend it for anything that just needs to be hosted without any of the bells and whistles that competitors offer (and without the complexity). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vultr?

I am yet to encounter any noteable downsides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
