4/5
What do you like best about Vuforia Engine?

I like how the community is for the SDK, I've almost always got help for any kind of errors I've faced in unity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vuforia Engine?

The supported devices for ground plane detection. Vuforia fusion does not support all the devices that have AR Core inbuilt. They should increase the support for the number of devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Vuforia review"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Vuforia Engine?

What I like best is the simplicity with which you can create an AR experience. Like you can create an AR experience without writing a single line of code in Vuforia. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vuforia Engine?

What I dislike is it is a paid service. ARKit and ARCore being free seems like a better alternative when you're publishing your app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Used for AR Prototype"
5/5
What do you like best about Vuforia Engine?

I loved how Vuforia would rate the "augmentability" of an image I added to the database. This was really helpful in debugging my app, so I could determine if bugs were due to image target problems, camera/phone problems, or code problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vuforia Engine?

Nothing really. There's a fair amount of community support regarding Vuforia=>Unity Integration, but could have more tutorials or guidelines on how to do this. Often this was described in tutorials found online, however. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The expense. Vuforia had a long history of being an openly accessible SDK. At that point they began charging $500 per application for its utilization. Since the development of ARKit and AR Core, this has turned into more of an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
