What do you like best?

The VTiger crm platform greatly optimizes the traceability of the information in the sales reports. Vtiger accurately tracks the entire life cycle of customers within each of the operations they have performed with us since its inception. Vtiger can be integrated with email messaging services. What do you dislike?

We don't like that when working with ad hoc reports you can't add content from past reports, as this would be a way not only to speed up the work, but also to standardize the formats used for each log document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The integration between VTiger and Microsoft Outlook is one of the best and most recommended integrations to work with, since by adding Outlook it is easy to access the company's activity and sales calendar and send its updates to the other employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

If you have any questions, the VTiger support team will provide you with answers and ensure that your problem is resolved. In addition, they often release product updates and improvements. The ability to create custom reports is very powerful and helpful for management to understand the areas that may require attention. We have successfully customized the various fields of VTiger to meet our specific needs, whether it is the sales part, the input part or the project part. What do you dislike?

I am a little out of date, I hope to be able to schedule a time to follow up with someone in our CRM system at a specific time and data, and receive a pop-up notification when that time comes. When I use VTiger, I have not found a way to receive notifications immediately when I request notifications, not when I want to follow up. While the ability to create a large number of reports is good, navigating the reporting tool is somewhat difficult, especially at first. Recommendations to others considering the product:

VTiger has many features, but this is the challenge. Today, where everyone is doing more with less money, it is vital to have a solution that can meet several specific needs and correct them. For me, sometimes I feel that VTiger is trying to be a "diverse" solution, which ultimately makes it more confusing to use. But on the other hand, if you take the time to learn everything about VTiger, I think it is an impressive tool, but there is a learning curve associated with it. We use all aspects of VTiger in many different areas of the company. From today until today, we have been using VTiger as the main CRM system to manage all sales related activities for customers and prospects. What do you like best?

Importing or exporting data from Vtiger is very easy, Vtiger has an excellent duplication tool built in. Manipulating data in Vtiger is also very easy, while Mailchimp is almost impossible. Vtiger is a powerful email marketing system, it is easier than Mailchimp, and once the database reaches the size that Mailchimp starts charging, the cost of each email sent will be greatly reduced. Therefore, Vtiger represents a good upgrade path for Mailchimp. Vtiger is a complex database similar to SugarCRM, but easy to use for non-IT experts. Compared to Vtiger, SugarCRM's user interface is very complicated. It is easy to add fields, create selection rules or lists to adapt the system to your needs. What do you dislike?

Although Vtiger is compatible with Twitter, it is not compatible with other social networking systems in the same way. You can adjust the system to include the contact's social networking profile URL, but if SM is important to your organization, you can use a better system. Although Vtiger integrates well with email, but like most CRM systems, it assumes you only have one email system, so it's not suitable for use cases that need to support multiple email systems. Vtiger is well suited to any organization that manages large databases, as it can quickly complete, duplicate and categorize contact records. This is an excellent way to manage email activity, because each record can be stored in one place and then belong to as many mailing lists as needed. Personally, I think Vtiger is one of the best CRMs today and has many advantages. I think the biggest one is cloud-based, so you don't have to worry about maintenance and other issues. What do you like best?

Customer feedback, support queries and ticket improvisation integration are very useful. In this way, the support sales cycle has been effectively developed. Integration between modules is good. What do you dislike?

The initial splash screen interface can be more simple and convenient. System control can be more effective and user-friendly. You should get support by a specialist before use.sometimes it freezes

after every update there could be a hiccup, something to fix, something got broke. sometimes sync settings and integrations got lostinvasive notifications annoying sounds on notifications. The overall experience in the software is good and we also adapted it to our main CRM to have a single leadership methodology that comes into the system. Our institution needed to integrate mail, telephone and alternative calling methods into the database among customers.Used to quickly process customer-supplied information and respond quickly to users. Among employees that I worked with, the general issue with the system was that it wasnt setup to do what they wanted or they didn’t like the process flow that we used. What do you like best?

Vtiger CRM is great. I've used it since version 6.3. It is an ever changing system where they keep adding lots of new features, you get add-ons for needed customizations and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The user forum kind of sucks. There are some weird things that require you to have an IT guy or be savvy yourself that I think could be made more accessible to novice type users. For example, adding new fields to a drop-down menu that also trigger some type of events like marking a task as completed or done" rather than relying on a lot of default values. I actually like the older version (6.5) a lot more than the V7+. Their new fancy interface I find is just buggy and overly complex. Recommendations to others considering the product:

I would plan on thinking through the CRM workflow you want and then checking that it can accommodate it. Its likely it can, but its the default options that often get in the way and are a bigger nuisance than necessary. Vtiger is flexible to accommodate different setups, like Contacts only module or Lead and Contacts Module. It seems its more geared towards manufacturing/retail types so I had a bit of difficulty setting it up how I wanted for software sales, funny enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Vtiger encourages the company to have a place where all-important information can be integrated. A portion of the navigation in discovering revealing was somewhat troublesome at times. Certainly the cost. Starting out with just 10 clients evaluating it, at that point climbing, it just got pricier. The client portal lacks current feel and there is practically no ability to appropriately manage finances through it. Other than minor bugs that moderate us down the service is great. What do you like best?

What we like the best is that we have all the information from all the areas of our company connected thanks to this user friendly software. From the first call to a prospect to the mailing of invoices we can register all the steps of the sales process and every member of each department can have access to that info. What do you dislike?

When you start customizing the tool to your needs and preferences you get a little bit addicted to the possibilities you have and sometimes you go further and think of areas you would like to change and then you realize it is not possible since Vtiger is not that complex. However we haven't faced a key need which hasn't been fulfilled. We create quotes with Vtiger and we also generate invoices with the specific module. We would like to have an integration with the Spanish official invoicing systems in order to issue valid electronic invoices and send them to our customers by email. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Vtiger is very useful for our daily needs and it also makes it easier for our auditors when they have to collect specific data from our administration and sales processes. It is very visual and they can see account names, dates, quotes, files... at a glance. Another area that is key for us is the one we use for our Technical Department. We are a Support Center and the employees in this department create service contracts with our customers, and open tickets in order to solve every request we receive. Reports and reminders are also fantastic tools both for the sales department and the support department. We use the Marketing features more and more in order to create lead generation campaigns. It is very useful to get info about how many contacts open an email, how many of them click on the links, etc. It is a pretty user friendly software and once you are familiarized with the module configuration area it is easy to create new connections, modules, fields etc. We really like the level of customization we can have thanks to the configuration features. However, if you are not an expert the Support Team of Vtiger always help you with anything you need, they really do their best to configure all the areas the way you need, it is amazing :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

There are different modules which is a good factor to keep information separately. Even documents can be saved for clients database. All my team can work together and no lag in the system apart from the daily 1 hour required to upgrade the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Nothing as of now as it is good to use for us. Only glitch is the 1 hour backup time required to save the record everyday which results in the software to hang. The sla clock features sometimes doesn't work as expected and our tickets and cases get violated. This is highlighted to the team and they are still working on it and no resolution on it till now. We use it for cases and tickets and client database. We use the contact, reseller, orders, calendar,email templates modules as well.

Only problem we tried to resolve is the 1 hour system upgrade time as users face difficulty while using the software. However it is mandatory and is for all of their clients and not only us.

I seldom find an issue with Vtiger that the great customer service team cannot fix in a timely manner, but I have come across certain situations that are perhaps too complex for global integration on the platform. What do you like best?

I really enjoy that we have our marketing, sales and support all in one CRM. It makes it so much easier than utilizing 3 different software apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

We get errors when we upload new contacts and it doesn't always say what the error is. It might say it imported 80 contacts and 20 have errors but what are they? So we just upload the contacts again and usually that'll fix it. Overall, we really haven't had any big bad issues with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My advice is to give Vtiger a try if you haven't already. It not only gave us an all in one solution but ended up saving us money as well. It's really easy to use and lots of customization. What do you like best?

VTiger has become the corporate CRM, easy to use already in the first use.

You can access from anywhere, it is cloud based.

We appreciate the possibility to customize the product according to our needs directly via the web without having specific programming or other knowledge.

Reporting is great especially when you can build your own custom metrics to report on.

What do you like best?

I use it for all the organization of the company, since a client need a quote, then we use the next part to crete a sales order, register the equipments, instruments that our storage has, it is incredible, its very funcional, We can organize all wit Vtiger.

Vtiger is very helpful for us because ir organize all the differents areas of the compane, for example, sales, support after sales, logistics. We have documents ordered in the cloud for example. If a seller wins a tender, he can upload the purchase orders to the cloud and we can all review it

I like for example, in case os the After sales support Area, I can create an asset (when a customer buy a medical equipment). I can create it with the serial number, then I cant create the guarantees, preventive maintenance, and I can also create incidents if something happens to the equipment, for example a failure and we have it as a record, so that other engineers have knowledge if something has happened to that equipment or not. Additionally I can assign a task to one of the engineers and tag it, so he is aware that he has a job to do with an asset. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Phone calls is not helpful for us, we don´t use it because we use other system.

Conversations is not helpful for us because we use Hangouts.

We organize the storehouse, the sales areas, now they have new and great quote forms.

Our boss can now how many items we has in the storage.

Our technical support can organize their visits to the customers

Accounting area knows how much we sell and we spend.

Every employee can check the information of the customers

Logistics can check the Sales Orders at time.

What do you like best?

The good organization and capabilities, basiccally I can make a good organization on everything related to my customers, and have a good tracking on them. You can customize the fields that you need, adding new fields, and configuring them to be able to be shown in the report that you can make later in the reporting section. The reporting section althoug is a bit confusing at first, once you get the handle of it, is a great tool to manage your departments and plenty of other things that you might find helpfull. What do you dislike?

still not optimized enough for email, meaning that, the email inbox or mail manager is still not well optimized and I still find myself using my mail provider instead of been able to link everything through my vtiger account, the reason behind this, is because the sync between both services takes a while, and most of the time vtiger is slow to be updated with the latest information of my mail provider, take this with a grain of salt as it may be my internet service provider, but I believe its not. Although it haves phone calling support, and you can link the phone calls to an opportunity, it still needs a bit of automotization, meaning that it would be really helpful and time saver if the software is able to link automatically the phone calls to (in my case) the opportunity. Recommendations to others considering the product:

Vtiger is a good solution, it haves plenty of things that you may need to fill out the information of your customers, make reports, and plenty of other stuff, I believe that there is still a roadmap in vtiger to implement new things and optimize others, like the inbox or mail manager, that although it haves very good features. I believe that the syncronization between the mail manager and my mail provider is still kind of clumsy, and needs work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the ability to organize all my customers and be able to administrate well enough all what comes with it, that being assets, comercial process, cases, tickets, quotations, documents, reports, scheduling, etc. I personally find it very helpful the asset module, so I can have a very good and detailed information about my customers solutions.
