This is an amazing tool for any creative mind who tries to bring his concepts into reality. The way 3D has helped in decision making for Apparel Industry, is truly adorable. You will find it useful in most cases when designing and thinking to be creative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is common for anything which tries to leave behind the trend. The adaptability and sustainability of 3D yet needs to be praised by Organization Leaders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a very user-intuitive tool and it also facilitates a reliable virtual fit process. The tool offers a variety of pipeline pain point solutions, whether you are a designer, a technical designer, a merchant or a vendor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
An answer for this question does not come to mind quickly. Perhaps that it does not allow for import of virtual samples created with other authoring tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to use: The software offers the majority of the tools right in front of you in a very user friendly interface allowing you to focus on what's important.
Accurate. Too accurate sometimes. Minor changes in pattern/stitching are noticeable in dressing. By going back and forth in this process helps a lot with problem solving and results in rapid fit changes which cannot be realized with conventional (physical) methods.
Offers variety of great quality fabrics and some accessories in the cloud BW Libraries. (included in the license price)
It has a lot of open source features enabling the user to custom make soft or hard materials and import them.
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Substance, Blender, V-Ray etc. compatibilities give endless possibilities and very professional results.
Unlike other software of its kind, VStitcher produces a very accurate fit.
Browzwear Support is always available to handle all kinds of problem solving. They are great, fast and efficient providing files back to you with implemented corrections and videos teaching you how to make them yourself.
Browzwear University: A great step by step e-learning interactive platform of the software from the basics to the most advanced explaining every detail of the interface and its capabilities.
I am sure that some of the above are the reasons that most of industry's largest retailers require 3D prototypes to be made with Browzwear VStitcher. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Accuracy in simulation can often be time consuming or it might require very powerful processors.
Not so many animation options.
Dressing is manual which creates natural but in some cases inconsistent results. It would be great if there was an automated additional option for dressing and styling garment areas which need to be symmetrically positioned etc.
More options are needed in the 3D Measurements area of the software - and probably a better connection between them and the garment dressing process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software is intuitive, user friendly and in case you would need help there is also excellent educational support from the software developers through the Browzwear university. It's a great choice for fashion designers who can use it to show their ideas to clients. It's easy to make adjustments in both pattern pieces and various artworks and colorways according to a client's feedback. From my point of view it would be also a good software option for 3D character designers because VStitcher offers a wide range of silhouettes in their Cloud library. Therefore it is really convinient for people who are not well-versed in tailoring but want to create garments for their characters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is really nothing what I dislike about VStitcher. I would like it even more if it would be possible to use it on a tablet, however I know that's not an option for most 3D softwares beacause of the device specifics, coding and other stuff which I don't understand. :-) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Browzwear is hands down the BEST digital product creation consultants and providers in the industry. Their decades-long and deep relationships with global manufacturers at massive scale is proof that they know what they are dealing with, from collaborating on transformation strategies, building trustworthy contracts, and partnering with their clients to develop the product. Because of this, they have a broad base of manufacturing partners who are ready to provide high quality assets to accelerate the adoption process with their customers. They support their clients throughout the entire process. They care.
The software is accurate, efficient and dependable, as well as easy to navigate. I was personally able to become a superuser in a short amount of time, where updating existing styles is actually fun. VStitcher's automated digitization of materials and partnerships with Adobe ensures accuracy and speed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Styling, simulation, animation and rendering can be slow without a powerful machine and wifi speeds. It also helps to have a solid pattern making background. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
UI: This is hands down the BEST user interface of all 3D softwares I’ve tried out in the past.
Training: ‘Browzwear University’ takes all the guesswork and intimidation that you would normally have when starting any new software program. It teaches you a lot from basics, tip/tricks of the trade, and advanced level techniques. They even have YouTube videos on specific unique topics.
Mega Support!: Through the ‘Community Forum’ you can post any questions that you have that are specific to the project you are working on at the time. Turnaround time for answers is good. They are super supportive.
Also, the general support team is always there if you feel that your computer is having a hang up with running the software and they are able to make recommendations. There is even a general troubleshooting part of the website for common error messages, etc. But normally, 99.9% of the time, everything runs just fine.
And beyond...:
There are so many more plugins and additional software connections left for me to yet explore such as
-Adobe Substance
-Blender and Maya rendering
-Adobe Illustrator import of 2D patterns Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is a tough one!! Hard to find a dislike, but maybe there is room for a few improvements in future versions....
-Would like more options in accessories for shoes and more flexibility to add headwear?
-Need an even larger variety in performance fabrications and textured fabrics, but noted that a solve for this is adding your own fabric maps and image to manipulate existing fabrics.
**Would like another baby avatar though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of use / Library assets/ Model accuracy.
I would highly recommend Vstitcher for anyone in the fashion/apparel sector going into 3D. the controls are very familiar if you’re coming from Adobe Suite (Illustrator). The accuracy if used to create actual garments/samples have saved me on cost. The library of assets to use are also a treat. The ability to manipulate fabric and render them are also very easy to maneuver. The support pages on the website have an abundant amount of useful information to help you with most things in the program. The actual support staff is also a wonder to work with. They are swift, friendly and precise. Browzwear also takes feedback seriously and implements updates due to user data quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Resource Heavy / Rendering time on complex garments.
Overall the program can chew up resources on your device very quickly. This is the drawback of being able to work seamlessly with other programs like photoshop/ illustrator to edit while working on your 3D models. Rendering can also put heavy load on your device if you want detailed renders. This is a drawback for any program that renders high quality images. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the layout of the software is very easy to work with. The flexibility to add design ideas gives lots of freedom when designing garments. Different ways to show the garments offer more options to present the design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I hope the dress process can be a bit faster, more lighting options can be offered by default. It takes time to learn and practice to be fast to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the best features for me is the accuracy of FIT in the samples, it gives me confidence that my design is accurate. There are so many tools to help your samples come to life, the fact that you can see your design in different sizes of avatar and grade it directly in the program saves you time. you can do everything you can think of in v-stitcher, develop prints with a different texture, create fabrics, create great renders with different lighting, and different poses in your avatar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could use the software to create higher quality animations and that the process was easy, as well as creating shoes and hardware. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how easy it is to assign fabrics and render. A variety of pre-loaded fabrics and trims to use. You can easily adjust pattern without going into another pattern software. A great software for Design, Tech and Patternmakers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes raytrace renders take a long time. Hair options for the parametric avatars. Footwear options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Absolutely fantastic Browzwear University that guides you through all stages of Vstitcher. It's almost like you have a virtual teacher.
Unparalleled service of the help desk.
Very user-friendly interface.
With Vstitcher, you can tackle in one program from designing to pattern making to tech design to line planning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rendering is a bit heavy which requires a newer computer with a decent video card Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
V-Stitcher is consisting with Best Virtual Construction tools, Pressure map and Tension map for Fit evaluation, Fold and hang option and all the virtual clothing requirements in a software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I prefer for all the functions in V-stitcher Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It’s very user friendly. I also appreciate the educational support from the software developers through the Browzwear university. It's a great choice for anyone making their own merch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Takes up a ton of room as far as processing goes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
