"Why vPentest is one of the best tools in my arsenal (especially for prospecting)."
4.5/5
What do you like best about vPenTest?

I've seen companies spend tens of thousands of dollars on external pen tests that come up clean and amount to nothing more than a n-map scan. vPentest's platform is easy to manage, affordable for the customer and service provider and has a great interface. If you know hyper-v and linux it'll be super easy to spin up an easy to mange windows machine that runs the pen test. We use this service monthly and it has saved hundreds of hours of my time. What do you dislike about vPenTest?

It is not perfect by any means, a certified pentester will find more items than an automated pentest 100% of the time, but it is good enough as a baseline to find issues at a glance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very userfriendly and efficient"
5/5
What do you like best about vPenTest?

The test itself was very easy to run. Externally, it's really just a website to enter what IPs to test.

The internal one required some setup, but the documentation was very good and very easy to follow.

The subscription allows me to test up to 25 IPs per month, more are available on request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about vPenTest?

Setting up the internal host took me some time, but again, the documentation was very good.

It does help if one has some understanding of linux. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"vPentest automatization tool for Cybersecurity Teams"
5/5
What do you like best about vPenTest?

vPentest's main strength is the time in which we can obtain a penetration analysis report. The ease of being able to schedule any assessment either internal or external and above all the excellent technical support they have when any inconvenience arises during a penetration test. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about vPenTest?

It's not that I dislike it but I would love to be able to select or choose which type of exploits I could use according to the company I want to do the assessment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"That's simple: EASY."
4.5/5
What do you like best about vPenTest?

The way it works with a clear and understaning portal. Everything is explained through great knowledgebase articles. Also the reporting is plain and simple, for every departement within the company.

And the best thing: free demo for 1 device and/or 1 WAN! That we can easily sell it to our customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about vPenTest?

4 things:

* That's it not yet in multi-language form. We're from The Netherlands, so Dutch would be a great add-on!

* Also, demo-testing with only 1 device is kinda hard. It would be great if the scan itself would be company wide without additional fees.

* Setting up a device that scans takes a lot of time, so a click-to-run image would be great.

* And final: GPDR. It's not yet compliant for Europe, something we need for it to be an official product. All data needs to run through - for example - Frankfurt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
