The support team is great and responsive - the issues we have had (only two) have been very minor and resolved almost instantly. The tool is easy to use, easy to implement, and just all around great given the frequency we are interacting with the tool. **What do you dislike about vPenTest?** I wish you could whitelist some findings but at this point you have to email support every month to remove confirmed false positives. It was so easy to get off the ground, easy to use and automate, and the knowledge it brings to me and my team helps ensure we're secure. We use it at a regular interval via scheduled assessments or spin up a one-off when we make a big change to our infrastructure. Being able to scan internal networks and from the outside really gives us a great insight that we can leverage for greater securty. **What do you dislike about vPenTest?** I'm not the biggest fan of how they do their licensing, per IP. This is mostly an issue when you're first getting started and want to scan everything! But, as time goes on and you develop your own schedule, it's not that impactful. **What problems is vPenTest solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used to use external third parties for PenTesting once a year. The cost of one external PenTest for one location is a big portion of what we pay for Vonahi that gives us way more options and allows us to run many, many more tests. vPenTest has alleviated the costs associated with traditional third party PenTesting with no loss in functionality, information, or outcome. ### 27. The product is easy to use and easy to setup. I enjoy the variety of reports that provide variable views of the issues presented. The product was easy to setup and easy to use. There is little headache over scheduling assessments and selecting the options. The dashboard provides a nice overview of the PenTest trends and easy access to the most recent reports. **What do you dislike about vPenTest?** The delay of results for assessments seems unnecessary for short term/less important Tests. I wish I could still review a simple report the day the test concludes, even if the report may be inaccurate. I have had issues with scheduled assessments failing to run on the scheduled date. I wish there was more human interaction to confirm findings or describe them. It would be nice to have a dedicated account manager to ask directly. If you know hyper-v and linux it'll be super easy to spin up an easy to mange windows machine that runs the pen test. We are able to take the results of these tests, present them to a client and in turn build a long term relationship with them. This also is added benefit for our current clients as it gives us furhter insight into their networks and where we can improve in terms of keeping them secure. vPenTest is also easy to setup and implement using either a VM or external machine running linux. **What do you dislike about vPenTest?** One thing we wish vPenTest could do is go out, scan a client's network, and identify all VLANS and subnets automatically. This is crucial for new clients that we are not familiar with. That way a company can hire us, we simply plug in the vPenTest agent and go without the need to contact the client, obtain information on their subnets, and then do the assessments. **What problems is vPenTest solving and how is that benefiting you?** This is finding and solving common security holes and giving us an idea of items that present a vulnerabilty on a client network in which we may have not normally identified.
