Every year I am asked to create reports for all of our BI organisations. The reports need to include gender specific stats for all orgs and this can be difficult to develop a report for. I like that I can create a schedule that volunteers can pick and choose from. I can also attached documents to specific activities so volunteers have all the information ahead of time.

There are so many things that I like best! The flexibility of the software to accomodate almost any requirement that our organization has come up with. It is amazing how many challenges we have resolved through Better Impact. The support system is outstanding; a terrific on-line help system, combined with nearly instantaneous chat support, keeps us productive. 700 happy volunteers using the system is the icing on the cake. It's hard to find a dislike, but a challenge that we have is that Better Impact is a closed system that we are not able to interface with other systems. A few examples; using a single sign-on ability, the ability to integrate contact information for an online directory, and integration with an external donation system. There is little room to customize the database for the administrator. For example, terminology such as Activity and Assign can confuse volunteers. I like that Better Impact has a dedicated team that is easy to connect with to help me with any question or need that I might have. The program is extensive and has a lot to offer and sometimes I just need to talk to a real person who knows the program inside and out so that I can maximize what I get out of the software. The only downside to Better Impact is that there are sometimes restrictions to what Better Impact can accomplish. Consumers can suggest new features to to be added to Better Impact which is fantastic but unfortunately I have seen some great ideas get rejected and with no answer as to why. Before transitioning to Better Impact we thoroughly researched all of the available options. Better Impact was the software that had the capabilities to work at an Enterprise level for our organisation as well as giving us the options we needed for different area's requirements. It is tough to decide which feature I like the best. I love that the software has the capabilities to add e-learning modules. The fact the software is able to track and pull reports!! I did not find much about this software that I disliked. If I had to choose it would be the fact I had to set up the software by myself and it was not as user friendly as I expected. It did not have the option to export directly onto our internal timesheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
