## About Vantage
Vantage is a cloud cost management platform designed to help organizations understand, allocate, and optimize their cloud, SaaS, and AI spend. It provides a comprehensive view of costs through a broad set of native billing integrations, including major providers such as Amazon Web Services, OpenAI, Datadog, and Kubernetes environments. This solution is particularly valuable for businesses that operate at scale and require accurate, unified visibility across multiple cost sources. Tailored to FinOps, engineering, and finance teams, Vantage serves a diverse audience across industries. Organizations such as Block, Inc., PBS, and Rippling use Vantage to manage and optimize large-scale infrastructure spend. The platform is built for teams that need to move beyond high-level reporting and instead require actionable, granular insights into cost drivers and ownership. A core strength of Vantage is its ability to unify and normalize cost data across cloud, SaaS, and AI providers, enabling consistent allocation and reporting. Teams can break down shared costs using tags, metadata, and custom allocation rules, ensuring accurate attribution across services, teams, and environments. This allows organizations to understand true unit economics and identify inefficiencies that would otherwise be difficult to detect across fragmented billing systems. In addition to visibility, Vantage emphasizes automation and actionability. The platform includes AI-driven capabilities such as automated agents and MCP-based integrations, along with programmatic access via APIs and a Terraform provider. These features enable teams to operationalize FinOps workflows, automating cost analysis, enforcing allocation standards, and integrating cost controls directly into engineering and financial systems. Vantage differentiates itself by combining broad native integrations with deep allocation capabilities and built-in automation. Rather than relying on reactive reporting, organizations can continuously monitor, analyze, and act on cost data in near real time. This approach helps teams improve accountability, optimize resource usage, and make faster, data-driven decisions about their cloud, SaaS, and AI investments.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manil G. | Software engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

One thing I’ve continued to appreciate is the consistency of the platform. The reporting and cost breakdowns remain clear and actionable, and the overall user experience feels polished. Over time, the visibility into spending trends and optimization opportunities has helped improve decision-making around cloud resource usage.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

It would be helpful to have more advanced customization and filtering options in reports, especially for larger or more complex environments. More workload-specific recommendations and deeper analytics would also make the optimization insights even more valuable.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage is helping us tackle the challenge of cloud cost visibility. Instead of manually digging through billing data, we get clear dashboards that break down spending by service and project. This makes it much easier to identify underutilized resources, act on savings recommendations, and optimize usage. The result is more control over costs and faster decision-making.

**Official Response from Ben Schaechter:**

> Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! Easy of use is something we focus on heavily from a design/UX perspective so I'm happy that's coming through from the comments you left. Really appreciate all the feedback.

  ### 2. Vantage Simplifies Cross-Platform Budgeting with Clear Cost Accountability

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shantanu G. | Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

It simplifies cross-platform budgeting, reporting, and accountability. It also enables detailed cost breakdowns—by business unit, team, resource, or even individual queries and workflows—which helps teams attribute spend to the right owners and strengthen accountability. Vantage has a user-friendly interface, and the setup feels straightforward compared with native cloud provider tools.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

Some advanced features could be a bit complex to use e.g., network flow reports or custom configurations, native AI/ML spend reporting beyond basic integrations.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1.Fragmented cost data across vendors
Vantage centralizes all this in one place, with detailed cost breakdowns by account, team, resource, and more, so you actually see what’s driving spend.

2.Hidden inefficiencies that drain budget
It provides automated recommendations and optimization insights (e.g., idle resource detection, rightsizing, savings plan purchasing) so teams can reduce unnecessary spending.

3.Costs are opaque and hard to attribute
It offers advanced cost allocation, hierarchical reports, and tagging tools — letting organizations attribute costs to teams, projects, services, or business units meaningfully.

**Official Response from Sophia Peer:**

> Really appreciate your support and feedback. Thanks Shantanu!

  ### 3. Streamlined Cost Visibility that Bridges Engineering and Finance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vivek C. | Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

The "Virtual Tagging" feature is a game-changer for us. It automatically categorizes our development and cloud costs, which saves me from spending hours manually tagging resources every Friday. The platform makes complex billing data digestible for non-technical stakeholders, particularly our finance team, which streamlines our reporting process significantly.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

While the interface is functional, the UI could be polished to feel more modern. Additionally, the data latency—currently about a 24-hour delay in cost updates—can be frustrating when we need real-time feedback on infrastructure changes.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage solves the visibility gap between engineering and finance. It eliminates the manual toil of cost allocation and helps us instantly pinpoint the root cause of billing spikes. This transparency means we can catch budget issues early without requiring a dedicated DevOps engineer to interpret the bill.

  ### 4. Exceptional Cloud Cost Visibility and Actionable Savings Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krishna Sasank T. | Chief Information Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

After using Vantage for over 2 years, I can confidently say the cloud cost visibility is exceptional. The platform provides comprehensive insights into cloud spending across multiple providers, making it easy to track and understand where costs are coming from. The cost optimization recommendations have been invaluable - they've helped us identify significant savings opportunities we would have otherwise missed. The intuitive interface makes onboarding new team members straightforward, and the reporting features generate clear, actionable dashboards that stakeholders can easily understand. The Cost Reports and Active Resources views are particularly useful for day-to-day monitoring.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

Honestly, there's very little to complain about after 2+ years of use. If I had to mention something, there are occasional minor UI elements that could be polished - small things like layout consistency in certain views. But these are genuinely nitpicks rather than real issues. The product works extremely well and the team is responsive to feedback.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Vantage, we struggled with fragmented visibility into our multi-cloud spending. Costs were spread across different provider consoles, making it difficult to get a unified view or identify optimization opportunities. Vantage solved this by centralizing all our cloud cost data in one place. We now have clear visibility into where every dollar goes, can quickly spot anomalies, and have actionable recommendations for reducing waste. The result has been significant cost savings and much better financial planning for our cloud infrastructure.

  ### 5. Simplified Cloud Cost Management with Ease

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rishab D.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

I find Vantage very useful for translating development and cloud costs into simple terms, which means I don't have to spend my Fridays tagging. The fact that costs are simplified is a big plus. I like that when the bill spikes high, Vantage helps identify the exact root cause of the spike. It's also impressive how the ease of work and breakdowns can be understood by non-technical folks, like finance teams. The initial setup was seamless, with AWS accounts and costs connected promptly, allowing us to see the costs the next day.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

I think the UI can be improved a bit, and also, if the delay in updating costs could be reduced from one day, that would be better.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Vantage to simplify development and cloud costs, saving me from tagging on Fridays. It helps us understand cost spikes and is easily understood by non-technical teams like finance.

**Official Response from Sophia Peer:**

> Love that we can give you your Fridays back! Thanks for your support :)

  ### 6. Intuitive Interface and Easy Cloud Integration Drive Cost Awareness

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Warwick A. | SRE, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

I like Vantage's intuitive interface. Being so intuitive meant that it didn't take long to get up-and-running, and to give me the ability to identify areas where I can help my team reduce costs. It also seems pretty easy to use Terraform to connect Vantage up to the various Cloud providers, which also adds to its ease-of-use and its usefulness. So, ultimately, Vantage makes it easy to build a culture of accountability and cost-awareness across the technical teams.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

I'm probably a little too new to using Vantage to have found many things about it that I dislike. There does seem to be quite a bit of difference in how full-featured some integrations are compared with others, but I guess that is unavoidable, and the most important integrations seem to be well-supported.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we introduce a new service, we can quickly see what its cost impact will be, and redesign its implementation (if needed) before it gets to production.

  ### 7. Effortless Cloud Cost Visibility and Analytics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivam B. | Devops engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Vantage offers a remarkably clear and intuitive way to view cloud spending across different providers. Dealing with instance costs can be a real pain, and recently, when I was looking into Tranium pricing, I noticed that AWS seemed to hide it after their deal. However, Vantage still displayed that information. I really appreciate how useful this tool is for cost analytics and for digging deep into where money is being spent.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

The customization options for dashboards could use some improvement. For instance, it would be helpful to have the ability to set custom time ranges and to group metrics together for more advanced reporting.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage has given our team complete visibility into our cloud infrastructure costs across both AWS and GCP. Previously, tracking expenses across various accounts and services was disjointed and took up a lot of time. Now, with Vantage, we can effortlessly monitor our budgets, catch any unexpected cost spikes, and optimize our spending in real time. Honestly, I don't think I could have managed billing on my own, but after a friend introduced me to Vantage, it turned out to be the perfect solution for alerts and everything else I needed.

  ### 8. Clear cost visibility with actionable insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel M. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Vantage makes it incredibly easy to see exactly how much each service costs with clear, granular breakdowns. No more drowning in spreadsheets, we can instantly identify which services are driving our spend. The real value is in spotting outlier moments: cost spikes, misconfigured resources running 24/7, and forgotten test environments racking up charges. It's helped us catch several budget-busting issues before they became major problems, giving us much better control over our cloud costs. With alerts for spikes and also weekly short checkups you are solving your cost problem. It's really easy to integrate with AWS and Open AI.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

The D-1 updates on some services can be frustrating. When cost data is delayed by a day or more for certain services, it makes real-time monitoring and quick decision-making harder. We'd also appreciate more proactive alerting and suggested remediation steps when outliers are detected. It could be

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage solves the problem of cloud cost opacity by giving us clear, real-time visibility into what each service actually costs. Before, we'd discover surprise charges at month-end with no clear understanding of where our money went. Now we can immediately spot cost anomalies—like misconfigured instances running 24/7 or forgotten test environments—and tackle them before they become expensive problems. This has directly reduced our cloud spend, eliminated billing surprises, and transformed cost management from a stressful monthly ritual into a proactive, manageable process that saves us both time and money.

**Official Response from Sophia Peer:**

> Thanks for the detailed feedback. Glad Vantage is helping you catch those hidden cost spikes early. Appreciate you helping us get better!

  ### 9. Simple Setup and Easy-to-Use Dashboards for Users of all Experience Levels

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jimmy W. | Finance Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Relatively simple setup. Dashboards and user screens make for easy interaction from non-experts.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

Cost is a negative but also unavoidable factor if an organization needs a cloud tracking solution in the first place. The interface, while simple, is overly simple compared to some competitor offerings, but really nitpicking here.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enhanced visibility and context, allowing for cloud engineering folks to more easily document and detail nature of spend for counterparts or other stakeholders benefit.

**Official Response from Sophia Peer:**

> Thanks for the feedback, Jimmy. We appreciate your support!

> Thanks Charlie, appreciate the feedback!

  ### 12. Super Easy to Use and Saves Us Tons on Cloud Costs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

I really appreciate how intuitive and clean the platform is. From the very first login, it felt easy to navigate without needing a steep learning curve. The implementation was surprisingly smooth, and integrating it with our existing cloud stack took very little time. Their customer support team is also excellent – whenever I’ve had a question, they’ve been quick, friendly, and genuinely helpful. I use Vantage frequently, and I really like how it balances a rich set of features with an interface that never feels overwhelming.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

There’s honestly not much to dislike. Some of the more advanced reporting features take a little time to fully understand, but once you’re familiar with the layout it’s straightforward. I’d also love to see more integrations added over time, but the current ones cover most of our needs.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage helps us keep cloud spending under control in a very transparent way. Before using it, tracking costs across different services and accounts was messy and time-consuming. Now we have one central dashboard that’s easy to understand, and it gives us insights that directly help reduce unnecessary spend. It saves us both time and money, while making cost reporting much easier for our team.

Would you like me to make this review shorter and more casual (like a quick recommendation), or longer and more detailed (like an in-depth breakdown for other engineers)?

Is this conversation helpful so far?

  ### 13. Clear Cost Transparency and Smarter Cloud Decisions with Vantage

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luiz I. | FinOPS Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Vantage makes it incredibly easy to get a holistic view of cloud spend across multiple provider and services. The automated reports is intuitive, and their ability to break down costs by team, project, or resource helps us align engineering and finance without endless spreadsheets. I especially like how quickly it surfaces optimisation opportunities—things like over-provisioned resources or inefficiencies - that directly reduce costs. The integration process was smooth, and the dashboards are straightforward enough that both technical and non-technical stakeholders can make use of them and we have one of the stakeholder using it weekly

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

The core features work really well, but I’d like to see deeper integrations with some niche SaaS vendors beyond AWS, GCP, and Azure. Occasionally, the granularity of certain cost reports lags behind what cloud-native consoles show, which means for edge cases we still need to drill into the providers directly. That said, the Vantage team has been responsive when requested features are brought up, so the platform feels like it’s improving quickly.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Advantage has solved our biggest challenge: getting a single panel to view costs across AWS, GCP in a way that both technical and finance teams can understand without constant back-and-forth. This has improved transparency and trust between engineering and finance, while letting us identify optimization opportunities much faster. Because the integration process was seamless, we didn’t lose weeks on setup, and the ease of use means the platform gets adopted across teams rather than sitting idle. The result is better forecasting, fewer surprise bills, and more efficient cloud usage, directly saving both time and money for our agency.

**Official Response from Sophia Peer:**

> Thanks for your support - and glad we can help!

  ### 14. A must-have for keeping projects on budget

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rhiannon J. | Freelance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

What I like best about Vantage is how clean and straightforward it feels. As a designer, I really appreciate how it turns all that website performance data into something easy to understand at a glance.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

Honestly, there’s not that much that I dislike, but if I had to pick something, it’s that Vantage can feel a little overwhelming at first. There’s a lot of data and features, and it takes a bit of time to figure out where to look and how to set up alerts the way you want. Once you get the hang of it, though, it’s super handy.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage solves the headache of keeping an eye on my sites and services all the time. It shows me uptime, performance, and trends in one place, so I can spot problems before they get serious. For me, that means less stress, quicker fixes, and knowing everything is running smoothly without having to constantly check multiple tools.

  ### 15. AWS expenses finally transparent and under control

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ondrej K. | Business Development Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Vantage makes it very easy to get orientated in the available EC2 instances, which then makes it easy to choose the right one when creating a new machine. Vantage then creates periodical reports on the costs of AWS. The costs are broken down into granular, understandable pieces which again makes it easy to see where the money is going and where there is potential to save.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

The service is easy to understand and information is very well laid out, both in terms of the level of detail, and in terms of general readability. I have nothing to complain about.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were finding it difficult to get orientated in our AWS costs. After all, it is not just the EC2 instance running somewhere -- it is the network traffic, the reserved IP addresses, the backups, directory services... there's a lot to it. We were looking for something that would help us get a clear vision of our AWS costs. Additionally, Vantage also helps us get orientated in the vast amount of available types of EC2 instances.

**Official Response from Ben Schaechter:**

> Thanks for the kind words! Really happy to hear you're getting value out of Vantage - also always good to hear the quote of "I have nothing to complain about." For people reading this response, I've also included a resource URL to instances.vantage.sh - the tool that may be referenced in this review for comparing and contrasting EC2 instances

  ### 16. Makes Cloud Costs Less PITA

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** yasmin p. | Marketing manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Okay so like, Vantage is actually pretty decent for figuring out where all your cloud money goes. The interface doesn't look like it was made in 2005 and I could literally set it up in like 20 mins without having to google anything. It sends you alerts when your spending gets weird which is honestly clutch because nobody wants to explain a massive bill to their boss lol.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

The pricing jump is kinda rough... like one day it's free and then BAM you're paying $30/month which is whatever but still annoying. Also it doesn't work with literally every service yet so you still gotta track some stuff manually which is honestly the worst.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okay so like, here's the thing, before Vantage I was basically drowning in cloud costs and had no clue where our money was going. AWS's built-in cost stuff is honestly trash and trying to figure out which team was burning through our budget was like trying to solve a puzzle with half the pieces missing. With vantage everything is better organised

  ### 17. Essential Tool for Monitoring AWS Costs and Preventing Surprises

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason E. | Vice President Operations, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Vantage has been a huge help in keeping our AWS spending under control. As a business leader responsible for monitoring costs, I really appreciate the weekly email summaries. They clearly show total spend along with percentage increases and decreases for each AWS service.

The setup was quick and easy, and I was able to start getting useful insights right away. This simple but powerful reporting has saved me from unexpected expenses on multiple occasions. Instead of digging through AWS’s complex billing console or running reports, I get the insights I need delivered right to my inbox. It saves time, prevents surprises, and ultimately helps us save money by catching issues before they get too costly.

Vantage has quickly become an essential part of how we manage cloud costs.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

I don't have any complaints. Vantage is working extremely well for us.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage solves the problem of visibility into AWS costs. AWS’s native billing console is complex and time-consuming, but with Vantage I get clear weekly email summaries that highlight total spend and percentage changes by service. This has allowed me to quickly catch unexpected expenses, fix them before they become too costly, and ultimately save money. It also saves me significant time since I don’t need to log in, run reports, or dig through complicated dashboards.

  ### 18. Perfect for startups that are watching every dollar

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caleb M. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Easy onboarding, a clean UI, and a startup-friendly free tier that helps us control costs under $2,500 per month make it easier for us to manage early expenses.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

Pricing jumps from $0 to $30 monthly the moment cloud spend passes the free $2.500 threshold

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage enables us to solve the biggest problem we had as a startup: limited visibility into where our cloud spend was headed. We had previously used AWS billing dashboards that were opaque and hard to correlate spend to growth. With Vantage, we get a concise real-time view of costs, and the free tier lets us monitor up to $2.5k without any overhead. This enables us to recognize waste early, forecast spend, and give our investors confidence that we're being diligent with resources. The weekly emails alerts are also a lifesaver they warn us before the costs spiral out of control, so we're never caught off guard at the end of the month. Overall, it gives us financial discipline without needing a full-time FinOps hire

**Official Response from Ben Schaechter:**

> Thank you for the positive reply! Glad you're having a good experience and were able to leverage our free tier. Also happy to hear the notifications on spend and forecast are providing value so you aren't caught off guard with any cost-spikes. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Federico Matias K. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Vantage makes it much easier to see where our cloud costs are going. I use it to track AWS and OpenAI spend, and the dashboards give me a clear breakdown that I can share with my team. The virtual tags help a lot for splitting costs between marketing campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

Sometimes the setup takes a little work and a few of the reports could be easier to navigate, but overall it has saved us time and helped avoid surprise bills. It’s been a solid tool for keeping our budget under control.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage helps me keep track of cloud and API costs in real time. Instead of waiting for the end-of-month bill, I can see daily spend and break it down by campaign or project. This makes it easier to budget, explain costs to clients, and avoid surprises.

  ### 23. Amazing way to save money and a must have if you are into FinOps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrezza M. | DEVOPS, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

What I like best is how fast it is to set up and get going, super simple. I use it for all my clients and it saves time and money, also gives you near real time visibility into your cloud costs, making it much easier to track spending, identify anomalies, and optimize resources. Sometimes is hard to filter by product and understand how much your cloud is costing your using only say Billing and Cost Management from AWS

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

Not much to dislike honestly, but would be great if there were a few more customization options for example the AWS integration uses a CloudFormation stack and given access to all is always a problem to get approved

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FinOPS, gives us visibility of what resources are costing more and how we can optimize the infrastructure

  ### 24. Vantage Delivers Powerful FinOps Insights for Cost Visibility and Accountability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Vantage is an extremely powerful tool for gaining precise insights into cost utilization. It empowers the operations team with strong FinOps capabilities, enabling better cost visibility, accountability, and data-driven optimization decisions across cloud resources.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

There isn’t much to dislike about it overall, but I couldn’t find a dark mode.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage is helping us identify cost utilization at a granular level. We can see the costs used per team or per tribe, which helps the Ops team and engineering leaders understand who is using what. It also helps each team take accountability for their costs.

  ### 25. Effortless Cloud Spend Tracking That Actually Makes a Difference

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mario A. | Senior site reliability engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Vantage genuinely makes cloud cost management so much simpler. The interface is clean and easy to use, even for those of us who aren’t financial experts.

Getting everything set up was fast, and connecting to our cloud accounts only took a few clicks, apart from some bare-metal small cloud ones.

What really stands out is the way it brings together costs from different providers into one clear dashboard.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

It still can’t pull in data from every service we use. Some integration with multiple providers is also a bit hard, when I want to get all costs for a single tag (that is distributed across different providers) it's quite hard, I need to manually create a meta tag and do some funny business there

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to track costs for different projects across mulitple resources

**Official Response from Ben Schaechter:**

> Thanks for taking the time to leave some kind words here - really happy you're getting value out of the platform. For the comment on "It still can't pull in data from every service we use" - I'd encourage checking out the "Custom Provider" functionality that allow you to add any cost data we don't natively support -- I included a link in the resource URL. Our product team would love to assist if you're hitting any issues there. Regardless, thanks for taking the time to leave a review!

  ### 26. Best FinOps Software with Excellent Drill-Down for Deep Cost Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shiva P. | Software Engineer Team Lead Level -5, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Best software for FinOps. The drill-down option is very good and makes it easy to explore the details when needed.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

I need live data for costing. Right now, most of it isn’t available.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If provided live cost data, which helps us make decisions quickly and reduce overall costing.

  ### 27. Steep Learning Curve, Limited Charting, and Costly Fees Hold Vantage Back

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Vantage is well regarded for its user-friendly, all-in-one trading app, offering a smooth, seamless experience with intuitive charting and real-time data for trading CFDs across a range of assets.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

common dislikes regarding Vantage (trading app/markets) include a steep learning curve, a complex setup process, limited charting tools (including no zoom), and mandatory lot-size ordering that forces users to do manual calculations. Users also report poor customer support and expensive fees.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage is a cloud cost management platform built to address the complexity, limited visibility, and accountability challenges that come with modern multi-cloud and Kubernetes-heavy environments. It provides a single pane of glass that helps engineering and finance teams better understand cloud spending, manage it more effectively, and reduce overall cloud expenses.

**Official Response from Sophia Peer:**

> Thank you for the feedback, appreciate your support.

  ### 28. A reliable and user-friendly platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Venture Capital & Private Equity | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

- The interface is very intuitive and easy to navigate, even for first-time users.

- Reporting and dashboards are clear, with just the right amount of detail to make decisions quickly.

- Implementation was smooth and didn’t require a huge lift from our side.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

- While overall the product works really well, there are a few advanced features that take some extra clicks to find.

- Integration with certain third-party tools could be a bit more seamless.

- Minor learning curve for more complex reporting setups.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For a small team, Vantage is really valuable because it reduces the overhead of managing multiple tools and lets us move faster.

The MCP server integration is a big win — being able to chat directly with AWS resources makes troubleshooting and day-to-day operations much simpler.

Instead of switching between consoles or writing manual scripts, we can get quick answers and actions directly through Vantage.

This saves us time, lowers the complexity of cloud management, and lets us focus more on building rather than babysitting infrastructure.

**Official Response from Ben Schaechter:**

> Thank you for the comments! Really happy to hear you're getting value from the MCP server. Interacting with FinOps data via an LLM is the future - so glad to hear you're an early adopter on this. Also thanks for the feedback on integrations with third parties being more seamless. I'll share that feedback with our product teams as we focus heavily on UX and ease of use and are always looking to raise the bar there.

  ### 29. Powerful and practical cloud cost visibility with tools we actually use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

The Cost Reports give us a clear, at-a-glance view of our AWS spend across accounts and services, making it easy to spot trends and stay on budget. The EC2 Instance Comparison tool is a real standout—it’s not just useful for EC2, but also helps us evaluate EKS, RDS, and Elasticache decisions. It’s become an essential part of how we optimize infrastructure while keeping costs in check.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

The platform is excellent overall, but some advanced insights can feel a bit high-level. Occasionally, we wish there were deeper drill-downs or more granular recommendations in certain areas. That said, the core features more than make up for it.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage helps us get real visibility into our cloud costs without the manual effort of pulling together spreadsheets or parsing raw AWS billing data. It simplifies cost monitoring across multiple accounts, which keeps us on budget and makes it easier to forecast spend. The optimization tools, especially the EC2 Instance Comparison, help us make smarter infrastructure decisions that directly lower costs and improve efficiency. Overall, it saves our team time and ensures we’re using our cloud resources in the most cost-effective way.

**Official Response from Ben Schaechter:**

> Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! Great to hear you're transitioning out of spreadsheets or having to manually parse raw AWS billing data and can fulfill your use-cases now in a FinOps Platform itself. Also it sounds like you're using instances.vantage.sh which is a great community asset. I've included a link to that property as a resource URL for any onlookers of this review.

  ### 30. Streamlined Cloud Cost Management with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrezza M. | Sound Engineer, Music, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

I appreciate the ease of use and how quickly we were able to implement it. The interface is clean, and the features are robust, making it simple to monitor costs. Their customer support is excellent and very responsive.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

Some integrations with niche services could be deeper. At times, the large amount of data can feel overwhelming, though filters help manage it and Vantage user interface is on point

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage gives us real-time visibility into cloud costs, which helps with more predictable budgeting, smarter scaling decisions and tips to reduce costs. The ease of integration saves time and makes collaboration between teams more efficient.

  ### 31. Insightful Cost Optimization and Valuable Financial Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dimitar Y. | Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Vantage helped me understand where money is being spent, optimize costs, and provided valuable information. It has been very easy to integrate with a click of a button. I check it every other day. The support is reaching out to see if we need any help and understand our use.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

I wasn't a fan of receiving weekly reports, since I'm only interested in my monthly spending.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage has been instrumental in helping us reduce our costs.

  ### 32. Unified Cloud Cost View

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Having one pane of glass 'view' of all Cloud providers is very helpful, however, the main benefit is being able to create individual cost views, whether by account, service or by an application that is hard to replicate within a cloud portal.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

It can be difficult to extract widgets from Vantage, for example, how many EC2 instances I have used or how much storage have I consumed (or allocated)

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage is helping me to combine 100 plus cloud accounts into one single view which I'm then able to dissect and report on.
In addition, Vantage is great for monitoring cloud software usage / costs without accessing the vendors portal.

  ### 33. Single Pane of Glass across Multi Vendor Cost Confusion

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shaun D. | Consultant Technology Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

The ability for Vantage to in multiple clouds across multiple orgs and slice and dice the data is impressive. It helps me and my clients control costs simply, eliminating the need for complex Excel documents or custom API reporting (which we could have developed).

Being able to bring accounts in from Clouds and build custom reorting groups (Org Wide, Dept etc) allows us to track and find data. The weekly emails allow pacing on budget and spot the odd ones out.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

Some of the systems were limited, but now, with the addition of custom providers, you can bring in any data relevant to your team.

The cost, initially seeming steep, becomes more understandable as usage increases, particularly when encountering runaway NAT gateways in AWS. The savings add up.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to merge costs across multiple AWS Orgs and bring this into a single pane of glass was the main use case.

Then once we had the data being able to see wastage and then jump onto it ASAP is where the additional value came.

**Official Response from Ben Schaechter:**

> Thanks for taking the time to leave a positive review - we really appreciate it! Glad that you and your clients are able to control costs without having to resort to complex spreadsheets anymore and can tackle everything in the platform now. Thanks again!

  ### 34. experience using Vantage

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Commercial Real Estate | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

The tool is simple to use and can be configured easily.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

Dashboard configuration is very limited, when it comes to the type of charts and the data i want to represent, would like to have more options

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage consolidates cost data across all services so we can get a single view of cloud spend

**Official Response from Sophia Peer:**

> Thanks!

  ### 35. Vantage’s Unified Cost Board Makes Analysis Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

We started using Vantage recently and had a great experience so far. The single consolidated board that aggregates costs across multiple infrastructure platforms (cloud and data platforms) using tags is extremely useful. It allows for detailed cost analysis and helps in deep diving into spend patterns effectively.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

It would be great if Vantage could fetch more granular details wherever possible — such as job names, job IDs, or similar metadata. This would help users gain a deeper understanding and more transparency in cost attribution.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage helps us consolidate and unify cost data across multiple cloud and data platforms. It provides a single, unified view of our overall spend, making it much easier to track, analyze, and optimize costs. This has improved visibility, reduced manual effort, and helped us make more informed budgeting and resource allocation decisions.

  ### 36. Powerful Platform to Control and Reduce Cloud Spend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claudia N. | ceo, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

I like how Vantage quickly highlights cost trends and opportunities for savings without requiring manual analysis.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

There is a small learning curve when exploring the more advanced features.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage is helping us simplify the complexity of cloud billing by providing clear visibility into where our money is being spent. It centralizes data across accounts, highlights cost drivers, and identifies opportunities for optimization. As a result, we’re able to reduce unnecessary expenses, plan budgets with more accuracy, and make faster, data-driven decisions.

**Official Response from Ben Schaechter:**

> Thanks for taking the time to leave a review - and glad Vantage is able to help!

  ### 37. Very flexible tool to bridge gap in tagging strategy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Flexibility to add tags based on custom rules. This allows us to not be too strict in our tagging strategy in our CloudProvider and fill any gaps with custom logic afterwards.
We mainly use vantage to split bills in shared environments based on usage using "Virtual tags" with cost-based values . This worked way better than e.g. with kubecost. It's not perfect for this use case, but it works good enough. It's great, that those split costs can then be inspected in the cost reports.
The great support for Terraform and the API is a big plus for us as well.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

* The usage of virtual tags, especially when multiple of those are involved or in the case of cost-based values can become complicated.
* Some custom rules, like adding a fixed amount to a bill are not supported at all.
* The drill-down functionality in cost-reports does not always select the most useful dimension to drill down into. But it's still pretty good.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it mainly to split cost of shared environments to each tenant using it.
It also allows us to correctly integrate things like AWS SavingsPlans and other shared cost and split it across tenants.

**Official Response from Ben Schaechter:**

> Thanks for taking the time to leave a review - really appreciate it. Also thanks for the feedback on virtual tags and custom rule requests. I'll pass that feedback on to our product team so keep an eye on our public changelog as we get updates released. I included that link as a resource URL and our team will try to action on this ASAP. Thanks again!

  ### 38. Simple Yet Effective Platform for Cloud Cost Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sergio F. | ecommerce manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

The platform’s intuitive dashboards and cost breakdowns allow us to quickly understand our cloud usage without needing complex financial reports.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

Sometimes the platform takes a bit of time to update with the latest cloud cost data, so having faster refresh rates would be helpful.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform solves the challenge of understanding complex cloud billing. By providing clear insights and forecasts, Vantage helps us plan budgets more effectively and allocate resources with confidence.

  ### 39. Effortless AWS One-Click Onboarding with Easy Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Their One click onboarding for aws and list of integration and its ease of connect

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

May be more granular level of details for cost spend

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

transparency in cost and one page to track all expenses

**Official Response from Sophia Peer:**

> Thanks for the feedback!

  ### 40. Easy to use and save you money

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos M. | Sr Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

As a Vantage user, the biggest problem it solves for me is getting clear, real-time visibility into my AWS cloud costs.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

some of the cost breakdown can still feel a bit high-level

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it was difficult to track where spend was coming from, especially across accounts and teams. Vantage gives me a centralized, real-time view of my cloud expenses, broken down by service, project, or team—which makes budgeting and forecasting bit easier

**Official Response from Ben Schaechter:**

> Thank you for the positive review! Very happy to hear that you're getting value out of the platform and now have a single pane of glass view into your spend broken down by service, project and team.

  ### 41. Good but with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rivan M. | Senior Sotware Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

The best thing about Vantage is how it makes a confusing mess of cloud bills feel simple.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

If you want to use the powerful, deep features, you will definitely have to spend some time learning how to use them.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a dev, it is tough to answer: “Which service/team caused this spike?” we have granular, developer friendly breakdowns (per service, account, tag, or even feature).

**Official Response from Ben Schaechter:**

> Thanks for the positive review! Glad that we're helping decrease the confusion on complicated cloud bills. Also thanks for the feedback on the learning curve being a bit steep -- we're constantly trying to simplify the UX around cloud cost management and I'll share this feedback internally with the team to see if there is more we can do here.

  ### 42. Easy to manage, good value and has trial

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Vantage has made cloud cost monitoring much more manageable for our team. The interface is clean, and the daily cost updates are incredibly useful for staying on top of spend in real-time.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

I’ve found that some of the more advanced analytics and filtering options can be limited unless you're on a higher-tier plan

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

break down costs by service, team, and tag to save money

**Official Response from Ben Schaechter:**

> Thanks for the positive comments. Our team focuses a lot on design and UX so I'm happy to hear you're happy with the clean interface. If you have feedback on what advanced analytics or filtering options you think you're missing, our team would be happy to help. There shouldn't be anything gated by the tier or plan. Regardless, thanks for taking the time to leave a review.

  ### 43. Value for money

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tony J. | Lead Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Vantage is excellent for monitoring cloud costs and spotting opportunities to save. It gives clear visibility into spending and helps optimise budgets effectively. Thanks to Vantage, I identified a cost-saving of $400,000 USD on a new project, which was a huge win for our team.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

It's hard to configure graphs exactly the way you like it.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing cloud costs

  ### 44. You can centrally manage multi-cloud costs, and creating reports is easy with a user-friendly UI.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

It is convenient to be able to centralize and check the costs in a multi-cloud environment. Additionally, I found it better that the UI is easier to view and cost reports are easier to create compared to the native cost management tools of each cloud service.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

The display between dollars and yen is not switching properly, and even though the logo is ￥, the cost is shown in dollars.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

・Budget Formulation, Budget vs. Actual Management, and Improvement of Future Cost Forecast Accuracy
It is beneficial to automatically predict future cloud costs based on past trends, allowing you to understand early on "how much it is likely to be by the end of the month at this pace." It becomes easier to compare budget, forecast, and actual results side by side, which aids decision-making for management and financial departments.

・Cultivation of FinOps Culture (Cost Awareness and Ownership)
Since dashboards can be divided by team/service/project/tenant, on-site engineers and product owners can directly check "their own costs." Even if there are constraints that prevent granting permissions to native cost management tools of the service, with Vantage, it becomes possible to operate in a way that shows costs to everyone.

**Official Response from Sophia Peer:**

> Thank you! We appreciate your support!

  ### 45. Intuitive Cloud Cost Observability platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chamath E. | Cloud Solutions Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

We use Vantage several times a week to monitor our cloud expenditure. We like being able to centralize our cost and usage data from both AWS and Azure, with options for more integrations as our organization grows. Integrating accounts is quite straightforward. The user interface is intuitive and lets us quickly identify anomalies and drill down into where our costs are being generated. Easier to use than the corresponding reports on AWS or Azure. Customer support has been very responsive on the rare occasion we needed them.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

The recently introduced Network Flow reports can be a bit tricky to enable, and the reports themselves can be unintuitive.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage provides consolidated reports of costs and usage across all of us AWS accounts and Azure subscription. This saves us time in monitoring cost and identifying anomalies and potential savings.

**Official Response from Sophia Peer:**

> We're thrilled Vantage is helping you monitor costs across AWS and Azure more efficiently than the native tools. Your feedback on Network Flow reports is valuable - we're actively working to improve that experience.

Thanks for choosing Vantage and for taking the time to share your experience!

  ### 46. The only cloud cost management tool we need

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam N. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

We've been a Vantage customer almost since the inception of our company. As soon as we had AWS credits to spend, I set up Vantage (which was itself very early stage at the time). It was easy to get deployed, and was vastly superior to AWS' built-in cost management tools.

In those early days we were pushing some Vantage features to their limit, and I had several very pleasant and productive interactions with their support and even their CEO. It's been years since I've needed to reach out to their support, as the product is very solid, works very well, and is intuitive. I even onboarded our controller to Vantage so that she can self-serve her own data to attribute our spend to COGS, R&D, or sales activities.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

I don't think this is a "dislike" per se, but sometimes I wish it could be configured to automatically do things like terminate VMs in non-prod accounts that have been running more than a few days, delete detached volumes in non-prod accounts after some time, etc. But I understand why they don't do that; it's an entirely different level of access and probably a liability that they'd prefer to avoid.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have over 150 AWS accounts across our org, used by developers, QA, sales, and our production workloads. It would be impossible to keep track of who is spending what and to catch runaway spend before it gets out of hand, if we didn't have Vantage.

**Official Response from Sophia Peer:**

> Thanks for being a longtime Vantage customer and sharing your experience! We’re glad to hear the platform remains intuitive and reliable for your team. Great feedback on automation — I’ll share it with the team. Always feel free to reach out with any suggestions.

  ### 47. Great Product, Reasonable Price and Very Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Easy to view AWS spend and make sense of all charges, provides recommendations on services that are being billed but not utilized, shows tons of historical data and allows for filtering, implementation/integration was very simple

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

The portal is relatively simple but it does take some time to understand how the filtering works best

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily used to analyze AWS spend and ways to reduce cost across our accounts

**Official Response from Ben Schaechter:**

> Thanks for taking the time to leave a positive review! Glad you're getting use of the automated waste detection and corresponding recommendations. I've included a resource URL for that set of functionality for anyone reading this review looking for something similar. Thanks again!

  ### 48. Cost reporting made easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Using Vantage has provided our company quicker and easier visibility into our AWS spend, quickly highlighting areas of overspend. The platform already paid for itself. Ready to use terraform modules made this a smooth implementation within our pre-existing IaC.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

More providers would be nice, for instance we use Aiven which is a relatively well known solution but not natively available on the platform.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Higher costs visibility and team-based cost reporting.

**Official Response from Sophia Peer:**

> Thanks for the great feedback! We’re so glad Vantage has made it easy to spot overspend and that the Terraform modules fit seamlessly into your workflows.

We’re always expanding our integrations and will share your request with the team.

  ### 49. Fast & Frictionless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

Vantage delivers an incredibly user-friendly experience with a clean UI and well-structured dashboards. Even for teams without deep financial expertise, navigating through cost breakdowns, budget insights, and anomaly detection feels seamless. The platform simplifies complex cloud spending data, making it easy to take action.
One of the biggest advantages of Vantage is its quick and hassle-free setup. Unlike some FinOps tools that require extensive integration efforts, Vantage connects smoothly with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and third-party SaaS tools. Within hours or days, not weeks, organizations can start monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing their cloud costs.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

Some advanced features may require custom configurations

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It centralizes all cloud and SaaS costs into a single, easy-to-understand dashboard, breaking down spend by service, team, or project. Real-time cost tracking helps prevent budget overruns.

**Official Response from Sophia Peer:**

> Thanks for the thoughtful review! We’re glad Vantage has been easy to set up and helpful for breaking down costs clearly. Appreciate the constructive feedback as well :-)

**What do you like best about Vantage?**

The UI is clear and easy to use. It also provides more complex functionality when needed. It does not require much maintenance or setup.

**What do you dislike about Vantage?**

It would be nice if there was a way to customize the home page to display charts that were more relevant.

**What problems is Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vantage is helping us manage infrastructure costs.

**Official Response from Ben Schaechter:**

> Thanks for the positive review. I'll touch base with our product team on customization of the home page / Overview page so that you can have more relevant options on that. That's great feedback and is popping up from a few other customers. Thanks again!
