It has simplified our build outs and upgrades from bare metal servers. We used to have over 1000 bare metal servers and have paired that down 5 or 6 clusters. A large portion of our servers were mostly for developers and spinning up a temporary server is now a piece of cake.

Broadcom has made it difficult to consume now. It used to be "buy vCenter/ buy esxi / buy VSAN / buy NSX." But now, all the sales team will sell is VCF. Now, even if you want the product, you have to literally fight the sales team to sell what Broadcom has been offering on their new SKUs: VVF/Standard/Edge. If they won't sell anything other than VCF, why are the other products listed? Make the decision to sell only VCF and call it a day. VMware is straight forward to deploy, runs on almost any type of Hardware, has phenomenal integration to a multitude of tools and extension options.

Its very easy to implement and get up and running, their customer support is on the forefront of client driven experience.
