I like that the software just works. Very robust, very stable, does exactly what you need it to. Support is very knowledgeable. Its easy to use and relatively easy to implement. Basically that a company with affliations to the Chinese Communist Party has purchased a key piece of datacenter infrastructure and is parting out various parts of it (e.g. Horizon) and price gouging long time customers world-wide. That is getting harder by the day to thnk about, it feels like every time I get used to where things are and the various options and features, things get moved to other produts and are replaced with new names and features. I do like that for the most part I get enough to do my job but it feels lacking these days. I know a lot of work goes into it and I love that HTML5 is fully supported etc. I love the fact that the appliance has got so much better and is mostly bullet resistant to issues! Some times the performace of the product feels off, then on the VSAN element I get the same "survey" prompt over every page load. So there was a HUGE QA miss there. Next is the lack of critical and vital configuration change control. What I mean is PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THTAT IS.. Put something in the GUI to rotate and mange Certs!!!!!!!!! Every support call I have had in the last 3 years has involved certs!!!!!!!. EVERY ONE!@, They expire, you havvce to use a CLI tool, the CLI tool isn't clear etc... Yes it works, and with support it works most of the time, but I have had to do this now frequenenly.. So ya please put GUI managment for certs for the entire platform..
