vCloud Usage Meter 3.6.1 leverages granular, minute-by-minute metering at the VM level instead of the cluster level, so you can easily break out product usage per end customer and bill accordingly.

**What do you like best about VMware Cloud Foundation Usage Meter?**

Granular billing capabilities on multiple areas. We set it up and then hand it over to the program manager office for tuning. Tenant app plugin seems to be nice, but having functionality issues.

**What do you dislike about VMware Cloud Foundation Usage Meter?**

Tenant app plugin. Seems to be a bit of disconnect between usage meter and the tenant app plugin. Currently having issues allowing mission partners to have access to the tenant app to see there billing via the tenant.

**What problems is VMware Cloud Foundation Usage Meter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Billing on demand or charge back billing. Allowing mission partners to purches x amount of resources but only be charge for the resources they are actively using.
