I enjoy the ability to create new communities on topics that range from specific office locations or hobbies, to specialized conversations about personal journeys. The fact that those who don't wish to participate can opt out of these discussion adds a layer of safety I appreciate; as well as being able email notifications anytime there is new information posted in any community they choose! I strongly disagree with the concept of enterprise social media like Yammer. I find that nobody is interested in using it, which further leads to a lack of engagement or interest when seeing what others post. Additionally, this platform was created for an issue that never should have been solved in the first place and automated emails are often used as being one’s only option so its use becomes redundant at times. I love how user-friendly Yammer is - its layout and operation are intuitive. It's a great way to stay in touch with colleagues, be up-to-date on work developments, and create private groups for friends or family so you can share fun experiences together. The platform also keeps internal employees informed about interesting initiatives that could help them improve their skillset! Everyone should feel comfortable voicing any problems they have, too - within the corporate intranet, it functions just like social media does externally, making it easy to use thanks to exceptional support provided by Yammer staff. We can share pictures(Memories), Memes( non-offensive), conduct Polls for any random ideas, and have Fun Committee announcements. Our Fun Committee completely handled yammer.
