Vitality Index is the strategic account intelligence platform that enables enterprise sales teams to win, protect, and grow their most important accounts with precision. Most enterprise sales organizations can report on pipeline activity and forecast outcomes. Very few have a clear, structured understanding of whether the accounts driving that pipeline are strong enough to deliver those results. Vitality Index fills that gap by turning account data into actionable direction. HOW IT WORKS Sales teams assess accounts across 21 Vitality Drivers, organized into 7 partnership domains including Foundation, Relationships, Competitiveness, Expansion, Collaboration, Predictability, and Reputation. Each driver is measured across four levels of partnership maturity: Building, Expanding, Scaling, and Vital. These inputs generate a Vitality Score and account classification, giving leaders visibility into account health, risk, and growth potential across their portfolio. More importantly, the platform translates this intelligence into structured, account-level strategic plans. Your strategic account plan clearly defines where to focus and what actions to take next. Vitality Index integrates with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and HubSpot to automatically document the plan for each strategic account. WHAT IT ENABLES Revenue intelligence: A single source of truth for account health, stakeholder engagement, and relationship strength across the revenue organization Sales planning: Structured, account-level strategic plans that connect revenue targets to actionable work within each account Performance improvement: Clear, driver-level guidance that enables precise coaching and consistent execution across reps and teams Revenue growth: Improved retention, expansion, and pipeline outcomes by strengthening the underlying accounts that drive revenue WHO IT'S BUILT FOR — VPs of Sales managing enterprise and strategic accounts — Leaders of Strategic Accounts and Client Partnerships — Sales managers responsible for coaching and account development — B2B organizations in IT Services, Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Managed Services WHY IT'S DIFFERENT Vitality Index is not a CRM, forecasting tool, or sales engagement platform. It is the intelligence layer those systems are missing. It measures the structural strength of each account and provides the framework to improve it. Grounded in proven enterprise sales methodologies and decades of practitioner experience, it enables teams to move from reactive reporting to proactive account building. ALTERNATIVES TO VITALITY INDEX Revenue teams evaluating Vitality Index often consider a range of tools across CRM, revenue intelligence, account planning, and customer success. While these solutions address parts of the problem, they typically focus on activity tracking, forecasting, or workflow automation. The Vitality Index does not...it focuses on the underlying strength of the account itself. CRM Platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) CRM systems serve as the system of record for customer data, pipeline, and activity tracking. While essential, they primarily capture what has happened, not whether an account is structurally positioned to grow. Vitality Index builds on CRM data by measuring account health, relationship depth, and strategic alignment—and providing clear direction on what to build next. Revenue Intelligence & Forecasting Tools (e.g., Gong, Clari) Revenue intelligence platforms analyze conversations, pipeline activity, and deal signals to improve forecasting accuracy and identify risks. These tools surface patterns in what is already happening but do not define how to strengthen the underlying account. Vitality Index complements these systems by providing a structured framework for building account strength and improving outcomes proactively with strategic account intelligence. Account Planning Tools (e.g., Altify, DemandFarm) Account planning platforms help teams document account strategies, map stakeholders, and manage key account plans. However, they often rely on manual inputs and lack a consistent, measurable framework for assessing current account health and progression. Vitality Index standardizes account planning through a structured system of drivers, domains, and maturity levels, coupling strategy with measurable, repeatable execution. Customer Success Platforms (e.g., Gainsight, Totango) Customer success tools focus on retention, expansion, and customer health scoring. These platforms monitor engagement and usage signals but typically provide limited insight into the strategic depth of enterprise relationships. Vitality Index extends beyond engagement metrics by evaluating relationship strength, executive alignment, and long-term account development. Sales Performance Management & Planning Tools (e.g., Anaplan, Pigment, Performio) Sales planning and performance management tools help organizations set targets, manage quotas, and track attainment. While they align teams around revenue goals, they do not define how those goals will be achieved within individual accounts. Vitality Index fills this gap by translating revenue targets into actionable, account-level strategies and tracking progress against them. Why teams choose Vitality Index Unlike traditional tools that measure activity, automate workflows, or track outcomes, Vitality Index baselines on the current strength of each account and creates the informed strategy and action plan that determines whether revenue goals can be achieved. It provides: A unified, measurable view of account health and relationship depth Structured, account-level strategic plans tied to clear next steps A shared framework for coaching, execution, and performance improvement Visibility into risk, growth potential, and long-term account trajectory Vitality Index is not a replacement for your existing tools—it is the intelligence layer that connects them, turning data into direction and strategy into execution.
