The great customer service, Steve Cuccolo | Implementation Manager, he is very responsive and organizer. It makes us very informed the status of our implementation. The VL self is the very self-display.

Some questions or requests can't be resolved, so we have to get the third party to help.

I think VL saved our time. We used Excel before starting with VL. With VL, we have confidence that the data will calculate accuracy.

The document management feature does not allow for all lease files to be uploaded and we have to post a file path to an offline location for those leases.

It gets the job done. The think I like the most is that it does what we need it to do. It meets all of our needs from 842 implementations, to rent payments, to tracking renewals. It does it all. Multiple departments use Visual Lease and it does a good job at meeting all of our needs.

Sometimes the user interface is a little wonky and other times the amount of data that gets pulled is overwhelming. For example, when we pull the data that we use for our rent uploads it will pull 50+ columns of data. It's not a huge deal, but it can be overwhelming for new users.

Our main reason for implementing Visual Lease was the adoption of the lease accounting standard 842. There are plenty of softwares that can do this. The reason we chose Visual Lease was after reviewing multiple of the big lease accounting softwares this one was the one we felt would be most useful for other departments. When making this selection we wanted to make sure we did not just get something that worked for us, but instead helped everyone that deals with leasees.

I like the ability to track leases, the ability to utilize the software for 842 and 842 calculations and we are able to somewhat automate the entry. I have not tried any competitors.

The reporting portion is lacking. We often have to manipulate the reports once we run them to get the result wanted. In addition, there is not a "point in time" report that we have found.

The issue of implementing ASC 842 was the main reason for utilizing visual lease. We found it helpful in doing calculations of ROU assets and taking some of the manual work out of the equation.

The problems we are solving can be attributed to the time cost savings associated with Visual Lease. Because of Visual Lease, we have had more opportunities to take advantage of time in solving additional problems within other areas of business.

It helps with the management, accounting and posting of the leases under IFRS16, FASB and also we can use the tool to help with ARO (asste Retire Operation) and Purchase Options, and for lease payments

The customization for the txt file creation. If we want to made changes on the TXT file we export, we need to request for additional fields to VL team.

For the ARO and Intecompany we need to do some workarounds and extrawork to get the right information

I like the ease of use that Visual Lease provides. The navigation tabs allow me to easily access the lease data I need, whether it is financial entries or pulling up documents to be viewed. It is also easy to manage users in the Administrator portal.

There's not much about Visual Lease that I don't like. However, I feel that the Financial screens could be better laid out as far as the payment schedules, etc.

Take a look at this software. It does everything a company needs for lease administration and more.

We are organizing our real estate portfolio better so it is easy to track locations and use alerts to stay on top of critical dates. Our Accounting team is also using the software to better lay out their accounting schedules.

I like the ease of use best. It is a modern online tool and most things come intuitive. The system is quick in its calculations and so much better performing than a Big4 tool we were using before. You have transparent data as well as reports available to gain a quick overview of leases as well as access data very quickly.

Actually only one thing, as the accounting files can only be started by administrators, while multiple accountants need to use them. But that is just a 5 minute burden in a month...so no big deal.

We are using VL as a subledger for ASC842 as well as IFRS accounting. We have also been expanding the usage to make this the repository for all contract and SOX compliance documentation with direct access by auditors to the data and documents.
