It is an awesome documentation tool for tracking all of our leases. The reports are very useful, and the interface is very easy to navigate.

I haven't seen anything in Visual Lease that I don't like.

If your company has a lot of leases, Visual Lease is a tool you should strongly consider. It keeps lease data very organized and makes producing journal entries and lease reporting data very easy.

It has been a great tool to organize our company's leases, and Visual Lease also generates excellent reports that make it very easy for us to record our monthly lease journal entries as well as the data tables for our SEC filings.

The simplicity of Asset Management is the best part of VL. It is very scaleable Lease Accounting Management Software. You can solve major lease accounting software challenges with automated calculations and full integrations.

VL makes Asset and Lease Management simple. There isn't much I can add to improve it. I would reccommend perhaps a more competitive pricing model so that users can maximize their cost savings potential.

When considering VL, the ease of use of the tool is the best thing I can say. It is easy to use and report from.

Issues solved were integrations and reporting. With VL, we have the ability to do that.

The user interface/dashboard is plain and not extra appealing. There are widgets that I just don't need to see upon sign-in each day.

The tool has also helped our organization to have more visibility on the leases term and characteristics and to develop comparissons between the lease term in the differt geographies in which our company operates.

There are some ratios and parameters in the reports section that can be improved. For example is impossible by now to compare the average cost per sqm of different floors in the same building, it is possible just to estimate an average cost for the total sqm in a specific building. Also sometimes the tool generates a problem when changing the currency or trying to change the sqm/sqf measures for buildings that are measured differently by region.

The implementation team is very supportive. The company takes the time to adapt your business necessities and has several online courses to help you to understand and use the tool. After the implementation is done it is easy to contact the support team if any support is required for some activity or changes in the system.

The ease of use and the lease accounting function which allows you to run multiple lease calculations and scenarios for a lease. It has allowed us to move away from excel based spreadsheets and calculations and automate the calculations. Additionally we have realized great benefit from the centralized tracking and administration. We set up system alerts which send out emails to allow us to stay on top of upcoming term renewal windows so we can assure we make the best strategic decision.

Only complaint is there is no integrated approvals within Tool to show a reviewers signoff. Although the system does mitigate this issue by allowing you to run audit reports on who made changes and additionally allows you to set user profiles which restrict access and function based on the individuals role.

Production has allowed us to streamline our lease process.

It has allowed us to seamlessly transitions and implement the new lease accounting standard for IFRS 16 with producing the required journal entries and supporting reports. We were able to provide the reports generated from Visual lease and use them to prepare our financial statement footnote disclosures and used them for support for our external audit. We are much more proactive in our lease monitoring and performing more analysis and due diligence in our term renewals and lease negotiations. As a Real Estate Executive, I enjoy how quickly I can get the information for my portfolio in an easy to read format including the mapping software. The readily available information on the landing page gives me the quick information I need and the easy to navigate menu allows me to drill down where necessary.

My lease admin seems to get frustrated entering the data.

We looked at multiple different products before selecting Visual Lease. It has the most complete package to support both lease administration and lease accounting.

The biggest problem we had prior to Visual Lease was sharing of data between lease administration and lease accounting. Visual Lease has integrated the data and made the process seamless.

Reporting, accounting and compliance management features provided by Visual Leases are critical for my company's global lease management, compliance with GAAP & IFRS standards, financial statement and disclosure note preparation, and maintaining lease key dates.

The document management feature does not allow for all lease files to be uploaded and we have to post a file path to an offline location for those leases.

I like the ease of use that Visual Lease provides. The navigation tabs allow me to easily access the lease data I need, whether it is financial entries or pulling up documents to be viewed. It is also easy to manage users in the Administrator portal.

There's not much about Visual Lease that I don't like. However, I feel that the Financial screens could be better laid out as far as the payment schedules, etc.

Take a look at this software. It does everything a company needs for lease administration and more.

We are organizing our real estate portfolio better so it is easy to track locations and use alerts to stay on top of critical dates. Our Accounting team is also using the software to better lay out their accounting schedules.
