As part of the "Vista Web" collection of tools, it extends Vista Service Management (SM) into a mobile-optimized browser experience on smartphones and tablets, eliminating the need to download or update a separate mobile app store application. Dispatchers use the web interface to schedule and deploy technicians, while technicians receive real-time assignment updates, job site locations, and complete service histories for on-site equipment directly on their mobile devices. While on the job, technicians can record labor hours, log equipment usage, track materials, generate mobile purchase orders, and attach before-and-after photos to a work order. Customers can sign off on completed work right on the technician's device. Because data flows directly into Vista SM in real time, accounting teams can generate invoices immediately upon job completion—speeding up billing cycles, eliminating double entry, and improving cash flow. A major feature addition is the Service Hub, a self-service customer portal that allows a contractor's clients to submit service requests, check work order statuses, review billing history, and pay invoices online. By unifying field service operations, customer self-service, and back-office accounting into one platform, Vista Field Service removes the friction and expense of running a separate third-party service software.
