Sometimes their response time is quick, but only when it's convenient to them Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Visahq? I used VisaHQ for a South African Tourist Visa and the experience was deeply disappointing from start to finish. I'm now out of pocket, missed a close family member's wedding, and had to travel 30+ hours each way from Ukraine for a last-minute in-person appointment — all of which could have been avoided with better guidance and clear communication from the start. Lack of proactive communication. The requirement for an in-person VFS appointment was never mentioned upfront. I only found out after chasing the team repeatedly by email and phone over multiple days. Had this been communicated at the start, I could have planned accordingly instead of scrambling for emergency travel. Critical document error was never flagged. This is my biggest issue. My accommodation documents only covered half of my trip — an obvious, glaring gap that any experienced visa advisor should catch during a document review. VisaHQ did not flag this. That single missed error contributed directly to my visa refusal and to me missing a once-in-a-lifetime family event. Refund refused despite poor service. Despite all of the above, VisaHQ repeatedly refused a refund, citing that "the service was rendered." A service that misses critical errors and costs you a wedding is not a service rendered properly. I would strongly urge anyone considering VisaHQ to think twice. If you're paying for expert guidance, you should at minimum expect someone to read through your documents before submitting them to the embassy. That basic standard was not met here. What do you dislike about Visahq? Price. It is somewhat expensive, so unless you're Russian, Chinese, mid-western or your company is paying it for you, you are better without VisaHQ. Staff knowledge. The Embassy Liaison I received suggested that I continue to use my former-employer L1 to enter USA. This is outright illegal and thank God I knew it. Visit visa to France, I incorrectly filled out the forms due to which first application was rejected. Visa HQ then took over and resubmitted on my behalf. You need to realize that filling a form takes time. I was willing to fill it but once I saw "required" large input boxes, my motivation died. If you want feedback, make it more focused, ask me specific questions and ask me to rate it. Do not put the work on the customer to figure out how and what they should give youo feedbakc for. The best thing about this service is that it takes away the anxiety of not knowing if you will need to send every paper. What do you dislike about Visahq? They did not make emphasis on the little guys cartoons on the right of the screen which i continuously ignored. Recommendations to others considering Visahq: If you need to renew a visa of any type, they will guide you with step by step questionaire and check list that they keep you organized. And then they forget the latest changes to information across all the visas. This is the word processor of getting visas. I give this company my highest recommendation for any company I have dealt with. Felt personal yet not pushy and respectful, like a person without having to bug them, all text mesage email driven, and even you can reply to their automated email and it WORKS!!!!!!! I teach all over the world and go on a yearly basis to different countries and having to do this on my own, I would probably quit that kind of job because of the headache that can bring specially if yo do it without guidance.
