My main dislike is that we had to adjust the settings so we wouldn’t have issues opening it in Office emails, but that’s a small thing compared with everything else we dealt with before. I like Virtru Email Encryption for its ease of use, particularly with email integration and strong access controls. The email integration is especially valuable because it enables user-friendly encryption, which aligns with our need to become CMMC compliant. The strong access controls allow us to enforce least-privilege access and maintain control over sensitive information. The initial setup was also easy to implement with minimal technical challenges. I love the confidentiality Virtru provides. I am a SpEd Secretary and constantly need to communicate confidential material to other teachers, school district employees, and parents. Virtru can be trusted and it is very easy to install and use with confidence. It's a great service to use when it comes to safeguarding students sensitive data. I feel good that there is a system I can trust and is easy to use to share this data. I hate to think about being the reason sensitive data getting into the wrong hands. The thing I dislike about Virtru is getting pushback from teachers that opening a Virtru encrypted email is difficult. In the majority of these situations teachers have not taken the 5 minutes to learn the system. It literally takes only a few minutes to learn Virtru and only a few extra seconds to open a secure email. It grants us admins complete control over emails sent. The Support team is very prompt in their response time. We use it almost every day to encrypt our data-sensitive emails.
